An excellent restaurant with an authentic, family-friendly, homely Italian atmosphere. It's very different from the tourist cafes with immigrant waiters. Here, real Italians prepare the food, set the table, and tend to the guests, ready to chat, make recommendations, and show concern. Carlo is a super positive Italian with a charming southern accent. He recommended both the main course and the wine to go with it. And when it came to dessert, he led me by the hand and showed me over 20 homemade desserts: from pies and pastries to creamy desserts that make tiramisu seem trivial. The wine is a bit pricey, but the red wine is worth trying, especially with the meat. Around 50 a bottle. I was planning on having just one glass, but my friend and I ended up sharing the whole bottle. Carlo recommended the Crocatino dessert. It's a cloudy cream in a thin sphere of white chocolate with pistachios on top. I don't even know what it tastes like. He highly recommends it. For the company, I brought a mushroom pizza as a surprise from the chef and another dessert to try after I expressed my admiration for Perfetto's recommendation.

Convenient restaurant near the station. Good, plentiful, and well-seasoned food. It offers typical Roman dishes. Prices are average for a tourist city. A first course, a second course, a side dish, water, a glass of wine, and coffee: €46. Worth a try.
