We were staying in the nearby Novotel, and realised that on Sunday the hotel restaurant closed. The area did not look like it had much to offer but a quick Google search found this place, and what a result! As soon as you walk in you feel welcome. The restaurant feels authentic. It is a family run business. The waitress, Cristina was exceptional in every way - friendly, helpful and always smiling. She provided recommendations that we would not have considered and they were superb. All the food was superb, and indeed the best restaurant that we dined at in Rome. Price was reasonable. Menu was in English. Superb. Recommended. Peerless.

Delicious food prepared by people who know flavour. This restaurant is the best I tried. If you are in Eur just go. Dont miss out!

A truly pleasant experience in every way. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism, making us feel immediately at ease. The service was impeccable: attentive, present but never intrusive, with knowledgeable staff available to recommend dishes. The dishes were meticulously prepared, beautifully presented, and above all, of excellent quality. You can sense the careful selection of ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation of the dishes. The flavors are balanced, original, and never banal. The location is elegant and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The prices are absolutely in line with the experience offered. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, refined, and high-quality dinner.

Great discovery! Elegant atmosphere, courteous and attentive staff. Excellent menu of both meat and seafood, and equally interesting off-menu options. The wine selection is also very good. Definitely worth a try! Prices are in line with the quality served.

A refined and memorable gastronomic experience at L'Oste e la Civetta. The restaurant offers both seafood and meat menus; we chose the seafood option and were completely satisfied. For our appetizer, we sampled the Gli Assaggi di Mare: an elegant selection of shrimp, calamari, salmon, and other specialties, all characterized by impeccable freshness and harmonious, well-defined flavors. We also ordered two oysters each, extraordinarily fresh, plump, and intensely flavorful. For our first course, the Pappardelle del Pirata with large, juicy mussels proved rich and enveloping. We also chose spaghetti with sea bass, recommended with great professionalism and kindness by our waitress Maria: a delicate, balanced, and high-quality dish. For our next course, we sampled the Pulpo alla Galiga, grilled to perfection, tender, and deeply flavorful. The ambience is striking for its elegant design and attention to detail, while the cuisine captivates with its excellent ingredients, freshness, and harmonious flavors, offering a true pleasure to the palate. The service is attentive, friendly, and professional. This is definitely a place worth visiting... we'll be back very soon. ✨
