15/02/2026: During a family outing, we stumbled upon this place, and it took us back in time! Excellent food, friendly service, and all local ingredients. The menu is written on the blackboard, subject to availability! The dishes were truly remarkable; even my very picky husband smiled! We'll be back!

19/12/2025: An old monastery converted into a hotel located on the outskirts of Siena, highly recommended. The hotel has been nicely renovated, both the interior and exterior areas (although we stayed there in December, so we would love to return at another time to also enjoy the garden more fully). The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is buffet-style and very complete, with a very detailed decoration and layout (the only detail that I think could be avoided would be the issue of charging separately if you want an omelette or avocado, since I think the price of the room is higher in high season). One of the nights we stayed for dinner at the hotel, the food was traditional Tuscan with a modern touch, it was good even though the prices were high. One of the best things about the hotel has also been the staff, they have been very attentive and friendly, recommending routes, restaurants and experiences that we loved and have helped us with everything we needed. For us the location has been unbeatable, as it has been our accommodation to visit various towns and make excursions in Tuscany, as it is not in the center of Siena you have easy access and leave the car in its parking lot, but at the same time as you are in a secluded area and surrounded by nature you are 6 minutes by car from one of the parking lots in Siena to be able to explore the city or go for dinner. We are very happy and we cannot recommend it more if you can come!

15/12/2025: We had the great fortune to stay at Cerosa di Maggiano in late September 2025. The property was absolutely lovely and our room was very well appointed. There was a wonderful full restaurant overlooking an inside courtyard which was lovely and the food was excellent. From the moment we arrived to the time left we were blown away by the service. If we could have rated it 10 stars we would have. The best way I can describe it is we were treated like family in a very professional manner. Our every request was met graciously. Our favorite server from the bar, Ricardo, made sure we were well looked after and even shared his homemade limoncello with us. We would not hesitate to stay agin or recommend the hotel to anyone.

05/02/2026: I regularly return to this restaurant, which boasts a softly lit atmosphere, with decidedly welcoming furnishings and details. The tone of conversation, even at the surrounding tables, is always calm and in keeping with the ambience. The wine list is extensive and offers unique culinary offerings alongside the classics. The white chocolate mousse is superb.

01/01/2026: Located at the entrance to the village of Pienza, the atmosphere is extremely relaxed and informal, yet very welcoming. The cuisine is excellent, with dishes and ingredients that begin with tradition and then evolve. The wine selection is extensive, and Davide makes excellent recommendations. We had a wonderful evening tasting and drinking so many delicious things: thank you so much!

25/11/2025: We highly recommend this restaurant. The ingredients are top-quality, Marco is incredibly kind, and the chef is amazing, reinterpreting and innovating the best traditional Tuscan and Umbrian dishes. We had the garlic pastrignocchi, the calamari, and the amberjack. Everything was delicious. For dessert, we had the banana shortcrust pastry and the sage-scented stuffed apple. Delicious and a little surprising.

07/02/2026: Everything is perfect. As soon as you walk in, you are hit with the most amazing smells of truffles, cheeses and olives. Appearances can be deceiving from the outside of the building. The interior is a clean, sleek design while also staying true to the historical roots of the town. The menu selection was freaking fantastic. It’s more than the typical local dishes. We had fried Fiori di Zucca with prosciutto cotto and a creamy cheese, beef tartar, ravolioni with provola affumicata, and taglioni tartufo nero. Totally blew us away. We will absolutely be back. Thank you!

06/01/2026: This open-plan pizzeria/restaurant welcomes you warmly to Anna and is quickly served by her husband. Excellent dishes include the pappardelle with wild boar sauce and a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses included in the menu for the main course. We also sampled the homemade tiramisu, prepared according to the original recipe, and the cantucci with Vinsanto.

04/01/2026: We booked for Christmas Eve dinner weeks in advance. We were seated outside on the patio, and despite the heaters, we ate in the cold, wearing jackets and scarves. The cold made it hard for me to digest, and I had a sleepless night. Never again.

28/12/2025: This was our first meal of the day in Siena, and it set everything in motion just right. We arrived without a reservation and were welcomed anyway, with an ease and kindness that instantly slowed us down. The service throughout lunch was warm and attentive, friendly without trying too hard, carrying a quiet charm that stayed with us. The food followed the same honest rhythm. The Cacio e Pepe was simple and perfect—smooth, balanced, and deeply comforting. The fungi mushroom risotto was rich and earthy, cooked with care and perfection. Around the table, pork steak and pork pasta were met with the same quiet approval, plates gradually emptied between easy conversation. Dessert lingered in the best way and almost transcended us into a celestial reality. The cheesecake is a must-light, delicate, and satisfying without excess. The affogato came last, clean and effortless, sealing the meal gently rather than loudly. We left with our heart and stomach full but not heavy, content but still curious what day might still bring forward. A beautiful way to begin the day.

08/11/2025: We dined here two nights in a row, trying appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts. Everything was delicious and high-quality. The service was excellent. The prices were fair for what you get. We recommend the filet in Chianti, a true culinary experience. You absolutely must try this place and this dish!!

30/10/2025: Excellent place for dinner, we ordered Tagliata al Rosmarino and Filetto di Cinta, both were very filling and delicious. Beautiful setting in a building with over 450 years of history, a huge variety of local and international wines. They also serve in English and Spanish.
