03/07/2025: Fantastic place with brilliant food! The fiorentina steak was perfect, the carbonara was outstanding! Dinner was eaten on the terrace with a beautiful view. I recommend it!

30/06/2025: Food orgasms, all the way! We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The tagliatelle with tartufo was amazing and so was the octopus and the pea pie and the semifreddo! And wine pairings were so worth it. Thanks to the chefs and the staff for a great experience.

12/07/2025: Spectacular place, small and cozy. Limited seating. Very good food, with dishes cooked at a low temperature. The owners are very friendly and kind. Excellent service and truly spectacular dishes. I highly recommend it. If you're passing through Sarteano, stop by—the food is truly delicious. If you come, be sure to order the Pavlova for dessert.

02/07/2025: We took a platter with Cinta Senese cold cuts and cheeses: exquisite! The wines they produce become even more special thanks to their history (contained in the name) that the manager enthusiastically tells. They are not short-armed when pouring glasses. If you go to historic Chianciano, a stop is a must.

15/07/2025: I've been getting gelato from this shop since 2007 for the quality and the decent portions. This evening I went with my sister and niece. The girl who served us was very nice, but the portion was tiny! I know how much it must have been because I come here often. I asked for a small cone for my little girl since she never finishes her portion. They gave us that tiny decorative cone with literally a drop of gelato in it. This tiny cone cost 1 euro. The little girl started crying because of this mockery, so we had to get her a double-flavored cone as well. I was disappointed; maybe the girl is new there, but the staff needs training.

19/06/2025: We had a lovely dinner here — four adults and two children. The menu offers a great variety of interesting local Tuscan dishes. It’s amazing to be able to taste recipes from the Middle Ages while living in the 21st century. As for the food quality, to be honest, I didn’t find anything truly unique or extraordinary. However, if you’re curious to explore medieval Tuscan cuisine, this is a great place to do it. I highly recommend the soup — the tartare was absolutely wonderful, and so was the crostino.

08/06/2025: If you are looking for the maximum taste and authenticity that this part of the Tuscany region can offer, you absolutely must not miss the "La solita zuppa" restaurant. The quality of the ingredients, the skill with which they are combined together, the elegance of the service and the intimate atmosphere, cared for in the smallest details, will leave you speechless. There is no other place in the area that offers the same quality/price ratio, nor that reinterprets the typical flavors of the place so well without altering the millenary tradition. In short, a stop that is absolutely obligatory if you pass by these parts. Enjoy your meal!

14/07/2025: Great spot! That was beside the apartment that we stayed in. Some of the best coffee we had on our trip. I enjoyed the sandwiches and a beer in the afternoons. Owner was very friendly and a master at making cappuccinos

The owner is the nicest person you can meet and you can see that he puts a lot of heart into this place. 15/07/2025: A delightful place run by a wonderful owner, Moira! The apartment is spacious and is next to the farm where you'll find an incredible collection of chickens and a wild boar farm. The restaurant run by Moira in the agriturismo, open on certain days of the week, is REALLY worth a visit. It's delicious! They cook wonderfully with local produce, including the pork raised on site... and the homemade desserts are delicious...

22/06/2025: We were in Poggibonsi and by chance we entered this air-conditioned restaurant. The waiters were super kind, we ordered: 1 sliced ​​beef with rocket and parmesan, 1 pici cacio e pepe, 1 Florentine tripe ... all excellent!!!! Really low prices compared to the average around and very high quality of the food! We were very satisfied!!

24/07/2025: Superb hospitality by Riccardo, amazing selection in the enoteca with always great bottles in the Oenomatic (by the glass). Prices are mostly like Cellar ones, with some variations but definitely a win if you don't have time to visit estates by yourself in the Chianti Classico area. Will definitely go back whenever I can!

21/07/2025: This wine bar is located in a medieval passageway in the heart of Radda in Chianti. Well-executed local cuisine and an excellent wine selection.

01/06/2025: A classic tourist trap at the entrance to Siena. The wine was good, but the main courses unfortunately resembled frozen food. We had a lasagna and a pici al ragu. Both cost €13. Normally, that would be a perfectly reasonable price, but unfortunately, the portions were very small and, as mentioned above, tasted very poor. In total, I paid just under €50, and unfortunately, we weren't satisfied. On a positive note, the friendly and attentive staff treated us to a limoncello after we paid. We certainly won't be coming back; there are better and cheaper restaurants right in Siena's old town, where we've already eaten.

29/05/2025: Amazing sandwiches here, I believe I had the panino with baked ham and fontina. Coffee was great, f your an American tourist you’ll appreciate the Cappuccino maxi. It’s a double sized coffee vs the traditional smaller cappuccino. The service by Lorenzo was excellent, he was friendly and kind. We appreciated the hospitality and food here while visiting Siena

17/07/2025: Friendly, welcoming, and the meat was excellent! Fair prices.

11/07/2025: We ate outside in the square, ordering pici alla cinta senese and tagliata with arugula and parmesan, and finally baked potatoes. Everything was excellent.

06/07/2025: I went to this restaurant because it was in the Michelin guide. I would NOT go there again. It did not meet my expectations. The following things: First of all the staff was fine, but not very outstanding or super nice compared to other places. They were in a hurry all the time. I arrived 5 min earlier than my reservation at 1900, the guy told me to wait outside ?? There was literally no one in the restaurant. The food is fine but not outstanding. 15 euros for simple Melon with parmaham.. crazy. I had the gnocchi with truffle but the truffle was from very bad quality and did not taste like real good truffle. (also 23 euros). Also had the tiramisu but was not the best i ever had. It was very basic. Also they put the airconditioning on 27 degrees?? It took the waiter about half an hour to notice that. Once noticed they put it back to 23 degrees. There are way better restaurants in Tuscany, especially for the price you pay. This restaurant is just very into tourists.

24/06/2025: Just don’t offer bruschetta if you can’t find ripe tomatoes! This place is odd - the service is efficient and on point. The pastas are quite good. But the atmosphere has a distinct 1970s Ramada vibe and the food is not particularly remarkable. Misses included underripe bruschetta and tough boar. Hits were a simple spaghetti with tomato and perfectly charred grilled chicken. So… keep it simple on the ordering, and temper your expectations?
