07/04/2024: Fantastic and welcoming place! We ate very well, we recommended the tagliolini with artichokes and pistachio pesto, baked pear and cheese terrine, peposo with potatoes and the chocolate and chilli pepper cake was fantastic!!!

30/01/2024: Visited in 2021, 2022, 2023 practically every time I go to Montalcino. Just outside the center the place is beautiful and fantastic. You eat very well, natural, refined cuisine and wines. The boys also cultivate the vegetable garden. Highly recommended, let's say that with 40/50 euros you can eat and drink well.

31/03/2024: Excellent restaurant in the historic center of Montalcino. Traditional Tuscan dishes, genuine and well cooked, I recommend the crostini and the rabbit in red wine... exquisite. The house red wine is also excellent (after all, in Montalcino it couldn't be otherwise). Friendly and friendly staff, honest prices.

03/04/2024: Clean place in the center of Montepulciano, hospitable staff. On the menu you can find wine tastings, bruschettas, sandwiches and focaccias. The pinnacle of goodness is the bruschetta with melted pecorino and honey... out of this world. We had an encore (one portion includes two bruschetta). Excellent quality/price Super recommended!!!

30/03/2024: I had dinner at Enoteca Svanen with my family and I must say that it was a positive experience. The environment, in Tuscan style, is very welcoming. The service was fast and precise. The menu offers a good choice of traditional Tuscan dishes, all well executed and tasty. The quality/price ratio, considering the 50% discount with TheFork, is excellent.

22/11/2023: Excellent wines, excellent cuisine, but a special thanks goes to the boy who welcomed us, served us and cooked for us! I have no criticisms to make, it was a perfect day that I will certainly want to repeat in the future.

01/04/2024: Stopped here for a lunch break while visiting the Val d'Orcia, I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view, certainly very suggestive especially when accompanied by a nice glass of red

26/11/2023: We had two dinners at La Taverna while staying at Il Borgo at Castello Banfi. First was a four-course tasting menu (plus amuse-bouche to start and cookies after dessert) matched with four wines (plus sparking wine to start). The second night, we ordered from the al la carte menu and had two classic Tuscan dishes: Pici al Ragu Di Cinghiale and Bistecca alla Fiorentina with a bottle of Banfi Brunello di Montalcino Poggio alle Mura. The service is very friendly and attentive and the setting casual and comfortable. A great place to eat!

11/11/2023: I enjoyed a multi-course lunch as part of the Banfi Excellence Tour. It was a great way to cap off a stay at Banfi with both equal parts tasty Tuscan food and exceptional wines. All around good service in a setting at the Banfi estate that evokes visions of a good Tuscan life. A definite must if touring the wine region but its popularity means planning ahead with a reservation.

24/03/2024: Very knowledgeable and courteous staff, very good food, in particular I recommend the pappardelle with wild boar ragù. Quiet location and a wide choice of wines. I would happily go back!

02/04/2024: Nice wine bar with the possibility of having an aperitif and even eating in the evening. The service is pleasant and attentive. They taste their own wine as well as many others. I recommend the charcuterie & cheese board with a good glass of Pino Grigio. 🤌 The Potazzine are small birds 🐦 that talk a lot and it is also the nickname that the elderly ladies of the village give to their children.

17/02/2024: Excellent restaurant in the center of Montalcino, wide choice of wine, generous and excellent portions, very kind staff, special mention for their wine, both the red and the Brunello. We will definitely be back.
