18/05/2026: We took the cooking class and were more than pleased. It was such a personal experience. The views, history, instruction, food and views were to die for. You’re made to feel like family not a paying guest.

17/05/2026: I'm not one to write reviews; I only do them when things are really good or very good. It was truly great here. The location is incredible, surrounded by their garden with a spectacular view of Montalcino. The staff is polite, cheerful, kind, and very attentive. The dishes were top-quality; we're vegetarians, and we found plenty of options for us (which is no surprise) that were anything but ordinary. The homemade pasta and bread were excellent, and the quinoa croquettes were special—I'll dream about them tonight. The price was very fair, considering everything I mentioned above. We'll definitely be back to this magnificent place. See you soon!

08/05/2026: Lovely atmosphere and friendly service in the heart of Montalcino. I tried the pappardelle with wild boar sauce — the flavor was good and authentic, although the pasta was a little dry for my taste. The grilled aubergine was unfortunately quite dry as well. Overall, however, the experience was enjoyable and the restaurant has a warm Tuscan charm. A nice place to visit while in town.

06/05/2026: We came in for lunch and were a little hesitant because the entrance seemed quite touristy, but once inside, the place turned out to be truly welcoming and high-quality. There's a truly remarkable selection of wines to taste and purchase, and the service is quality and pleasant. The food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable for the type of place. We'll definitely be back.

04/05/2026: The first time we came in 2017, it was just a wine bar, but they did offer us a fantastic tasting menu with some cured meats. Today we returned, and to our surprise, the premises have been expanded, meticulously maintained, with many small rooms waiting to be explored. They've added a kitchen and the dishes are truly excellent. The wine list...infinite!!! Must try!

13/05/2026: Everything was perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious and very affordable. It's quieter than other places in the area. This review might not help prevent it from becoming overcrowded, but hey, if it helps them attract more customers, then so be it.

24/04/2026: A typical restaurant, don't be fooled by the outside appearance! Amazing pizza, simple and reasonably priced!! The pici are phenomenal! Highly recommended Impeccable service, the guy serving (he practically does everything himself) is so kind and talented! Definitely worth returning!!!

03/05/2026: I had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel, located in the heart of Montalcino, a perfect spot for exploring the village and soaking up the unique atmosphere. I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived: the property is well-maintained, clean, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. An added bonus was definitely the hotel restaurant: I had the pleasure of dining there and was truly impressed. The cuisine is exquisite, with carefully prepared dishes using quality ingredients. Each course was beautifully presented and rich in flavor. The staff was always friendly and helpful, helping make the experience even more positive. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, an excellent location in the heart of Montalcino, and an excellent culinary experience.

31/05/2026: We stopped here for lunch during the Eroica on our motorbike tour. Even though we hadn't booked, the owner was incredibly kind and welcomed us even though the place was packed. The view is incredible. I recommend enjoying a glass of Brunello with cured meats and cheeses—everything is delicious! Highly recommended!

27/11/2025: We had a wonderful stay. The pool is large and really warm – even in the colder months. The service and friendliness of the hosts are exceptional, so I'm definitely giving it 5 stars. The only thing I didn't like "perfectly" was the dining room; I prefer a bit more privacy with more space between the tables, but that's really a minor point. You can easily reach some great hiking trails directly from the hotel, and the view is beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

17/01/2026: We were invited for a birthday party and had a wonderful lunch. Authentic food, a blend of Tuscan and Sardinian cuisine... the result was truly excellent.

29/12/2025: We went for lunch yesterday, we ate well, we had 1 pappardelle with tomato sauce for the little girl and it was very good and for us adults we had 1 veal stew and 1 tripe, all exceptional. Then we had 1 water and 1/2 bottles of red wine, 3 desserts and 2 coffees for €63. I would say the price is average, I don't think you can find anything less. Fast service. I highly recommend it.

01/06/2026: We chose this place for the panoramic view, but the rest is worth a look, and I'm referring to what we ate: a good salmon, but a small portion for the price, and three cuts of meat with potatoes that were practically served cold. Service was adequate, with a few oversights. And, to be honest, a glass of wine that was well-priced but very limited in quantity.

04/05/2026: A very cute bar in the center of Montalcino. It's small inside, but has a lovely outdoor area next to a stunning staircase. The service is very youthful, with friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect for a refreshing break.
