08/12/2025: A truly worth-trying place. The city is beautiful, with lots of tourists, of course, and sometimes you'll find yourself being fooled, but that's not the case with this place. A restaurant with truly exquisite, high-quality dishes; among the dishes we ordered, I found the steak to be excellent. Excellent service, and the place is worth a visit. There were three of us, including a child, who was treated with warmth and hospitality.
07/12/2025: A unique, enchanting place; traditional Tuscan food, but also vegetarian options. Last but not least, a lovely selection of wines, Tuscan of course, the traditional method at the beginning is truly top-notch!

30/11/2025: I tried the porchetta, which was really good. The place is surrounded by greenery, so it's nice. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a perfect place for away fans.
30/11/2025: Worth a visit for a pleasant and satisfying stop at the Valdichiana highway exit. Comfortable location, delicious Tuscan food, restaurant-quality, including the cantucci. Worth it.

10/11/2025: This was our second stay at Il Borgo but it won't be the last. The staff, from top to bottom, are dedicated to their jobs and you can tell they love working there. The wait and kitchen staff at La Taverna and La Sala dei Grappoli are true professionals. We enjoyed one meal at each and both were the highlights of our visit. We will happily make reservations next spring when we have our annual spring trip to Toscana. Keep up the great work!
01/11/2025: Our stay at Castello Banfi was the one the best vacation experiences. The staff was excellent and just the best. We loved every minute of our stay at Castello Banfi. La Taverna was amazing, the food excellent. We will do everything we can to stay again.

14/12/2025: Simple but excellent food. I personally had crostini, pickled vegetables, and bean soup, all excellent. The place is very well kept and the service is fast. Obviously, you have to like the "osteria" style.

07/11/2025: Loved our dinner here. We tried several items on the menu and each one was delicious. Great service and kind staff. They gave us some delicious recommendations and we were not disappointed. The restaurant inside seating is comfortable and not cramped. Give it a try!
27/10/2025: The food was tasteless and poorly presented. I've never had such bad lasagna. Also, the white bread was uneatable—hard and tasteless. The pizza was about 4 centimeters thick—presumably meant to be American in pizza-loving Italy.
You can get good food elsewhere.

Be careful.
23/11/2025: The name has basically changed. The spaces are still the same, spacious and well-lit, as the previous owner. The staff is young and friendly. With full dining rooms, there are some inaccuracies with orders, but they can definitely improve.
I had a good time.

01/11/2025: We spent three days in Tuscany and came to eat here three times (my pick was tartare). My friend has many allergies and the chef took all her requests very seriously. No eye rolling or rude responses. The food is very good, but what made us return is the friendliness, good sense of humour and kindness of people who work in this place. For everyone, who writes nasty reviews, I want to suggest shift the focus a bit and appreciate the beauty of the work that is done in this restaurant.
30/10/2025: Our staff had an end-of-season dinner. The food was excellent and the wine pairing was excellent. The staff were friendly and professional. Thank you all. We had a wonderful time. We'll be back.

21/10/2025: A detour from the Cassia is a must to sample some of the area's typical dishes. We enjoyed an excellent platter of cured meats and cheeses, but the real treat was the pasta: delicious with cacio e pepe, but the real surprise was the garlic, oil, and breadcrumbs!!! Excellent dishes. We'll definitely be back.

13/12/2025: We had lunch today with 13 people and had a really great time.
The food was good and the place is cute and welcoming.
The added bonus was the staff: kind, helpful, and always attentive despite the large number of guests.
A special compliment to Mirela, who was truly friendly and professional, and made us feel at ease from start to finish.
We will definitely be back and definitely recommend it!

Excellent menu selection, but it's worth trusting the kind and welcoming staff.
The soup and focaccia made with their own dough are excellent. The cured meats are excellent.
It's worth a lunch that can be a business lunch or a relaxing one with friends in a quiet and private setting.

30/11/2025: Central location, very characteristic structure within a historic village (Montalcino)... Perhaps too many dusty hanging knick-knacks (fake plants, ivy, various objects even decontextualized)... We didn't eat, but we drank a glass of Brunello... A note to the staff... if they ask you for a glass of wine by the glass, be careful to serve the wine at the table from the bottle, otherwise I might even think (perhaps not being a sommelier) that I drank any red wine and not a Brunello di Montalcino DOCG...

20/10/2025: Feels like home! We spent a weekend at this farmhouse nestled in the beautiful Tuscan hills. It's in a great location, just 15 minutes from Pienza and 15 minutes from Montepulciano. Excellent food, breakfast with homemade cakes and jams! The staff were kind and friendly, with special attention to Antonella and her son! We'll definitely be back... I highly recommend it!
18/09/2025: Agriturismo? It's definitely more than that. It's nice to see how the grandparents take care of things and pass everything on to the next generation. The food is honest and very good! The scenery is simply stunning. The rooms may be a bit dark, but they are lovingly furnished and beautiful!
There's nothing to complain about! Keep it up, Familia Belagaggio!🤗
