05/04/2024: A cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine. There was absolutely nothing to complain about in our menu, a dream in truffles. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. An absolute must if you are in the area. We'll definitely be back!

Highly recommending to have a good diner there we have enjoyed really good time and tasting the local Italian food. The quality of the food is there, appreciated this experience. Even tasting different local oil. Thank you for the welcome
28/03/2024: The ribeye steak (dry aged) was very tough. Not very tender. Very expensive! At least there was a small discount and a bottle of Chianti Classico to make up for it.

Professionalism, competence, kindness, availability for timetables, given that a group of 14 motorcyclists in the Chianti hills and the Eroica route were not punctual, they even cooked for us late in the evening! The dishes are the best I have found in Tuscany!! Truly a well presented, clean and welcoming place, thanks see you next time!!! We can't wait to return

18/09/2023: We had a fabulous dinner, this is a MUST DO, if you are in the region. We were served multiple courses before a show stopping Tuscan slow roasted beef with a Tuscan version of ratatouille! My favourite was the quasi panzanella and the percorino puffs…amazing. All fotos follow the menu.
30/08/2023: My husband and I just stayed for five nights and words cannot express what a wonderful experience we had. Simone and Alessio were the best and most welcoming hosts we have ever had. We will definitely be back.

08/12/2023: A thousand years of hospitality. They don't improvise here! The places are magical and the zero-mile food preserves unique flavors and intensities.
21/10/2023: Today's experience of 6 people with a very rainy day so we arrive half an hour late, they tell us that we can do the tour anyway and make us wait twenty minutes (so far so good). However, given the starting time, the tour lasts less than 15 minutes, including a summary tasting without too much explanation of two wines with poorly filled glasses (together we didn't even get to a normal glass). Despite the purchase of two bottles, including a magnum, and my obvious disappointment, they still made us all pay the full price of the tasting. They don't even know what hospitality is even though it is their motto.

07/11/2023: We visited this beautiful castle at the beginning of August.
The location is wonderful, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.
The staff is very kind and caring and Angelo is truly an angel.
We hope to return next year!
28/10/2023: We had a wonderful time! We were there for my birthday and loved every moment and corner of this enchanted jewel!
The place is very beautiful, pure poetry and the food exquisite. We were served by Angelo, whose advice and kindness made the experience just perfect!

17/10/2023: Overall good pizza, I recommend it if you are in the area and want to eat something quick, as the pizza took very little.
The owner is kind and helpful.
The type of pizza is quite thin and crunchy, you have to like that kind but I found it good.
Average filling quantity and well-proportioned prices.
There is no table service so perhaps more recommended for takeaway, but you can still eat there.

08/11/2023: As this was the only one star Michelin rated restaurant in the area we had high expectations. The restaurant is set in an old convent, turned into a luxury hotel.
As expected the service and advise from the staff and sommelière are excellent, if a bit stiff.
They have two different menus plus a blind menu with 10 surprise dishes at 160€. The wine accompaniment is 130€ per person.
There is a lot of creativity in how the Chef creates his dishes. However, none of the various dishes were in the category of amazing, wow or excellent. The dishes look nice and tasted OK. But that’s about it.
They also hurry you along a bit. You are still with one wine and they already pour the wine for the next dish that arrives within a minute.
Wine accompaniment was a bad choice considering you pay so much money for just five small glasses of wine, plus a grappa. That comes out at 20+ € per glass. The wines served should be super Tuscan category, but the wines were way below that. I had checked one wine, the Sauvignon Blanc from Graf in Meran. Retail price is just 16€ per bottle.
Just imagine what kind of wine you can buy today for €260 (wine accompaniment per person is 130) in a restaurant.
