We ordered house wine, picci (a type of small, sweet potato fritter), risotto, cinta senesi (a type of beef cut), tiramisu, and chocolate pistachio cake. Everything was excellent.

17/05/2026: I've never left a negative review. I'd rather not leave anything if I'm not satisfied. But not this time. The portions were huge, like 30 grams of pasta per person. When I pointed this out, the responses were truly arrogant. The bill was truly out of proportion for what we received. Go elsewhere for lunch or dinner, that's the only advice I can give.

02/05/2026: Il Leccio, a welcoming, family-run restaurant, has become a regular stop when I visit Asciano, not only for its Tuscan food but also for Marco, the owner's friendliness. The menu is varied, with excellent pici cacio e pepe and tagliatelle ai funghi, as well as the tagliata steak. Everything is excellent value for money. If you enjoy dining in a friendly atmosphere and spending an hour or so enjoying good food, you've come to the right place. Highly recommended!

07/06/2026: We went for dinner at the recommendation of the owner of the farmhouse where we were staying.
Even though there were several people there, they served us quickly.
The food was good, the lamb stew was special and plentiful.
Well done.
06/06/2026: Excellent food and a very reasonable price. It was well worth it. The restaurant entrance is quite discreet, but the interior features tables in a spectacular outdoor area, decorated with grapevines.

14/04/2026: A truly charming and welcoming place! The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home; the lady is full of energy and always smiling 😊
The food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. But the real highlight is the restaurant's complete celiac-friendly facilities: a place where you can eat in complete tranquility.
Homemade bread, homemade pasta, and a wide selection of pizzas for all tastes... it's really hard to choose!
Highly recommended for those looking for quality, safety, and a family atmosphere 💛

16/04/2026: We ordered fish dishes during the Easter holiday week. Half the menu items were unavailable. The little that was available, both for starters and main courses, was all frozen fish cooked poorly: shrimp starters covered in sauce, and fried fish limp and very salty. Even the house white wine was subpar. A completely unremarkable place. Even though it's in a central area of town, it's not recommended.
04/01/2026: Abandon all hope, all you who enter: broken air conditioning and a freezing cold environment in the dead of winter with temperatures near freezing, a malfunctioning exhaust hood, resulting in cooking fumes filling the dining room with unbreathable air, canned beans cooked directly in preserving starch, frozen spinach, and mediocre pici made with pancetta instead of guanciale. The dining room staff is incapable of handling all these issues. Furthermore, all our clothes need to be taken to the dry cleaners. Other customers near us got up and left. An experience to forget.

30/08/2023: Posto sorprendente. Si pranza in terrazza davanti a un paesaggio stupendo. Nel verde l’Abbazia di Monteoliveto Maggiore.
Accoglienza trionfale. Bellezza e gentilezza.
Arriva il padellone con i pici all’aglione. Ottimi e abbondanti.
Anche gli affettati i salumi e formaggi meritano.
Un dolce e in caffè. Bel pranzo.

27/04/2025: Sono quasi 13 anno che frequentiamo questo posto condotto dalla stessa famiglia e ancora oggi ci stupisce la qualità altissima del cibo...pici all'aglione, al ragù, al cinghiale... come li volete... la ciccia.. il cinghiale, i porcini e il tartufo... tutto tanto tanto buono... porzioni abbondanti..primi a 12-13e e non hanno secondi piatti oltre 20e [il filetto]..
Tutto ottimo!! Non andate via senza aver assaggiato la Flora di MonteOliveto!
18/03/2025: Una vera perla. Il ristorante ha un cortile molto bello e ben curato. Il cibo è stato davvero buono, tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato era di nostro gradimento. Altra nota positiva la gentilezza e simpatia dei gestori. Nulla di negativo. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare per assaggiare altre specialità e questa volta dormiremo lì.
