They charged us €3 per person for service even though only one person ate. When we pointed this out, they told us that's how it's done in Italy. A complete rip-off!!

This place is the definition of peaceful. Surrounded by the beauty of Tuscany and rooted in over 1,000 years of history, it feels like stepping into another world. The sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking—something you’ll want to pause and fully take in.
The food at the restaurant is excellent, making it easy to stay in and enjoy every moment, and the wine… simply some of the best you’ll find in the region 🍷
The room was very unique and clean, the sheets and towels were as well.
One small tip: bring a wall adapter, or you can easily ask for one at reception.
If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful escape with history, views, and amazing food, this is it.

13/05/2026: We went today Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. and it was closed, the schedule is either incorrect or they take it easy. a shame since we wanted to try their cuisine...

02/05/2026: A very negative experience. The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful, even treating his staff in a truly deplorable manner in front of customers: an unpleasant scene that completely ruined the atmosphere.
As for the aperitif, nothing special: average quality, with nothing to justify a visit.
I wouldn't recommend it.

The service is attentive, friendly but not excessive.
Highly recommended, the guys are wonderful 😄

22/12/2025: My daughter celebrated her 18th birthday here, and I have to say it exceeded our expectations. The food was very good, the location was beautiful and evocative, and the owner was very helpful; she even organized the music and decorations for us. I highly recommend it.

03/10/2025: It's open for lunch, which is a win. The food was good, but not the best I've had in Italy. The service was good, but they didn't tell me what was on offer that day. The daily menu looked better than the menu. And they forgot to bring me the dessert menu. The best service in Italian restaurants was from foreigners in search of a better life.

26/07/2025: Servicio súper bueno, amable y relajado. Menú degustación de 5 platos con tamaño perfectamente equilibrado de los platos (a muy buen precio) y maridajes de vinos que eran realmente spot - on. (¡Y somos exigentes!) Hermoso entorno - no se pierda!

11/04/2025: Top gegeten voor de lunch. Er is geen kaart. Je kiest uit de toog je vlees en ze bakken dit. Of je laat je verrassen zoals wij en geniet heerlijk van Toscaanse keuken. De chef serveert wat hij die dag gemaakt heeft. Redelijke prijs en propere zaak!

28/09/2023: Une adresse à retenir ! Ici, vous avez le conseil d'un caviste sur les vins toscans et notamment le chianti. Et en français !
De plus vous pourrez déguster les vins dans devoir acheter une carte !!
Son restaurant situé en face vous réservera un très bon accueil. Nous y avons mangé des tagliatelles aux truffes excellentes. Évidemment accompagnées d'un très bon verre de vin.
