02/04/2024: I RECOMMEND !!!!! Discovered by chance last week while wandering around Tuscany. We stopped, tasted, and came back again the next day for their delicious sandwich. Found out that they also have an e-shop and deliver to the Czech Republic too!!

31/03/2024: Extremely authentic restaurant. It has 5 tables. Cared for by its owners. You can't reserve, but it's worth going and waiting for a table. The lasagna is really delicious, one of the best I've ever eaten. Also the cheeses are delicious.

04/04/2024: Small but very nice and welcoming place. Excellent choice between starters, first courses, burgers and meat. The lamb chop was divine. The sandwiches were delicious. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It feels like being at dinner with friends. Advised. (The top of the top... nutella or caramel cheesecake)

When are they served with genuine sympathy? How can we find the appropriate words to express gratitude to those who allow us to enjoy such excellence? For me "BACCANO" PRATRIMONIO OF HUMANITY...like the Historic Center in which it is set. If you find a queue at the door, don't give up. The wait will be abundantly rewarded by the traditional nature of this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Lino (Genoa)

29/03/2024: We stopped in Pienza to do a little Pecorino tasting and found this spot. The we ordered the cheese platter with 7 cheeses and for the price it was plenty and tasted amazing. The staff was super friendly and we liked the comfortable atmosphere. We also took our two favorite cheeses from the tasting home (the fresh pecorino as well as the the pecorino di grotta) at a very good price. We can totally recommend! :)

06/01/2024: Intimate and welcoming environment. Wide choice of wines, simple dishes that contain the genuine flavors of a wonderful land and professional and attentive service. If you pass through Pienza you can't help but stop.

10/12/2023: This December 8th we decided to spend it in Val d'Orcia, visiting the various landscapes and markets in the area. During our stop we stopped to have lunch at the entrance to Pienza in a welcoming Winebar; where we were welcomed, even though we hadn't booked, by Christian and Giulia, the managers of the place, very cheerful and helpful. The Winebar is very bright, with a beautiful display of wines and tables inside and outside, everything is very well looked after and very clean. The guys are very knowledgeable and were able to advise us both in choosing the menu and in the choice of wines. We chose the typical crostini with Tuscan pâté, the tasty beef tartare and finally the classic cantucci with vinsanto famous in the area. Congratulations for your cheerfulness, education and availability, continue like this... if we were to be in the area we will definitely come and visit you. RECOMMENDED LOCATION

17/03/2024: Abbiamo raggiunto Pienza per un fine settimana e siamo rimasti particolarmente colpiti da questo luogo e dal servizio del signor Antonio. L’ambiente è accogliente e familiare, la proposta molto invitante nel rispetto dei sapori del luogo. Porzioni abbondantissime: contro ogni pronostico abbiamo perso la scommessa fatta con il signor Antonio e non siamo riusciti a concludere il tagliere con i (buonissimi) salumi e formaggi del posto. Buonissimi i pici. Da sottolineare l’attenzione al cliente e la gentilezza del titolare che, compreso che ci trovassimo a Pienza per un’occasione speciale, ci ha portato di sua iniziativa il dolce fatto in casa con bollicine per brindare. Sicuramente torneremo. Un saluto dai ragazzi di Lucca.

04/03/2024: Abbiamo fatto questo mega pranzo in questo agriturismo....il cibo di ottimissima qualità con porzioni moooolto abbondanti... l'accoglienza del proprietario unica....ci torneremo sicuramente..... complimenti.... consigliato 👍

27/02/2024: Diciamo che i tre pallini sono, seppur generosi, esclusivamente per il cibo. Ambiente anche affascinante ma di un "freddo siderale", e non parlo di temperatura. Non esiste la minima empatia. Un bel caminetto ma desolatamente spento come spenta è l'atmosfera. Vino proposto dimenticabile. Polenta con il lardo servita su pezzi di parquet laminato. Personale che si aggira dalla cucina alla sala con maglioni, tanto che ti chiedi se sia di passaggio. A parte il cibo, nella norma, direi che proprio non ci siamo. Peccato. Spero che questa mia recensione sia presa come un feedback per apportare le migliorie opportune, l'ambiente lo meriterebbe.
