06/05/2026: Super affordable, family friendly, delicious place to go. The town is beautiful and the people are so nice. We went about an hour before closing and they were so accommodating even that close to closing.
30/04/2026: We ordered a takeaway pizza. The welcome wasn't particularly warm; were we bothering them?
The four-cheese pizza was pretty average. After three weeks in Italy, we've had much better. Thin crust, a little bit of cheese, and that was it.
Finally, it's rather expensive compared to other regions of Italy, but then again, this is Tuscany...

01/06/2026: Spurred by the many positive reviews, we decided to dine there. The menu offers several typical dishes, but the dishes weren't as exciting as I expected. The service was rather inattentive and slow; the wine even arrived after the appetizer, so I had to ask for it. Overall, the quality was good, but nothing special. I didn't find the many accolades I received from the experience.

01/01/2026: In the magical village of Volpaia, the Osteria offers a refined and elegant atmosphere, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and dishes that showcase local ingredients with a delicately exotic touch that will surprise you. Last but not least, our two dogs were welcomed with joy. We'll definitely be back. Well done, Filippo and Martina!

The dishes are exceptional, and you can immediately see the attention to detail (as well as a lot of passion).
Bonus: pet-friendly! Our dog, Barolo, was treated like a true prince.
If you can, stop by and try the pumpkin buttons!

09/05/2026: In a historic setting, nestled in the cool stone, lies this well-stocked wine bar, which also serves meals. Perfectly prepared dishes and a wide selection of wines by the glass, including exceptional wines that are hard to find.
05/05/2026: We stopped here by chance for a quick lunch. Excellent wine and delicious first courses!! Very cute and quaint place ❤️

02/06/2026: Unforgettable handmade pici, superb peposo. Truly excellent cuisine in a truly charming setting. The terrace overlooking Chianti is spectacular.
31/05/2026: A convent that houses the Casa del Chianti Classico
with a tasting section and a restaurant serving a few dishes, but very much in keeping with Tuscan tradition.
The owner is very friendly, and the sommelier explains the wines and their pairings.
The Rossone (a light, fruity, ruby-colored rosé) is a must-try.
The dessert of lime ice cream with pink peppercorns and Serafico gin is a must.

12/05/2026: My husband and I came and stayed at Borgo Vescine and had such a wonderful time there. From check in to the three day stay, the breakfast was exceptional, the restaurants for dinner even better, the bartenders amazing! They really think of every detail and make you feel so welcome and like family. We will definitely return!

21/04/2026: We visited this restaurant today during a stay in Radda in Chianti.
The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the terrace was panoramic, the Tuscan platter was fabulous and generous, the glass of Chianti was fabulous, and the piadina with ham and fontina was excellent.
A positive experience that I recommend to everyone.

13/10/2025: A small cozy restaurant with awesome food. The steak with truffle cream was amazing, one of the best we ever had. Also the tagliatelle pasta with ragu was amazing and the tiramisu was good. Also had a caprese salad which
was tasty. Overall, definitely will come back.

06/05/2026: We stopped by chance, and discovered a place worth returning to, perhaps with more time to spare, so we could fully enjoy their cuisine, which was truly excellent!!!

04/06/2026: There was one big issue which potential customers should understand. I ordered a glass of chianti classico riserva. When it came, I assessed and concluded that it was off. It had that nose of "this bottle has been open too long". the color was ok. The taste confirmed that it was off. I didn't say a word to my wife, who smelled the wine and immediately said it was off. She tasted it and confirmed that it was off. We told the waiter who insisted that the wine was perfect and we were wrong.The food was quite good, though the selection was limited and some items on the menu were not available. We did not go to a hotel with this name. We went to a restaurant.
04/06/2026: Surely, one of the best Tuscan restaurants we’ve been to! O tried their pici caccio e pepe, and it was amazing! Since it is a crowded place, better to book a table or go there early. They have tables both inside and the outside! Great and fast service!

05/03/2026: Unreliable and unprofessional. Avoid.
I booked this hotel months ago for a trail race weekend. Now, just two weeks before my stay, they have cancelled my reservation with no explanation and no alternative.
My entire trip is already paid for—flights, race entry, and transport. Because of the race, everything in the area is now fully booked. They have left me stranded and ruined my plans.
You cannot trust this hotel. They clearly don't care about their customers. Do not book here if you actually need a place to stay.
23/10/2025: I had dinner at this establishment, the food was excellent and the staff were very kind.
