31/08/2025: Excellent pasta, pleasant atmosphere, helpful staff. We came half an hour before the barrel race, when other restaurants turned us away, but they kindly welcomed us and we had an excellent lunch. Excellent wine. All praise 👌

14/07/2025: Great spot! That was beside the apartment that we stayed in. Some of the best coffee we had on our trip. I enjoyed the sandwiches and a beer in the afternoons. Owner was very friendly and a master at making cappuccinos

The owner is the nicest person you can meet and you can see that he puts a lot of heart into this place. 30/08/2025: We had a wonderful time in this lovely trattoria. We were warmly welcomed, the lady who served us was very friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The charcuterie and cheese platter is generous and served with some jams; it was delicious! For the main course, we had the daily special, which was truffle taglioni. And again: it was delicious 👌👌

02/09/2025: We stayed at Dievole Wine Resort for a week during our honeymoon in Italy and it was a dream. The property was breathtaking with the vineyards, olive trees and lavender. We were able to walk the nature trail all the way to the lookout and see the wide expanse of Dievole. We spent every morning having a lovely breakfast in the garden that included a delicious traditional Tuscan spread. It was the perfect slow start to our day. The pool was another of our favorite aspects of the property. It was so peaceful to sit in the sun with a book and take in the sprawling hills. It was also nice to have service at the pool, and we took advantage of the poolside spritzes! Lunch and dinner are also offered, and we spent one of our evenings at Ristorante Novecento and were impressed by the service, quality and authenticity. We ordered the Florentine steak and it was perfectly cooked. We also were able to take advantage of the different wine and olive oil experiences offered on property. We came to Chianti to spend the week wine tasting and Dievole was one of our top tasting and tour experiences. It was so interesting to learn about the history of the property and the wine and see the wine making process in real time. The wine itself was a standout and we ended up taking home a few bottles. Another highlight was our room and the terrace outside. We spent every night sitting overlooking the vineyards at sunset with a glass of wine. The views were incomparable. Finally, we would be remiss not to mention the dedication and accommodation of the staff. Everyone we met and interacted with was so sweet and helpful. Upon arrival we were given a tour and brought to our room, our luggage was delivered to our room promptly and then we were personally delivered a bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon. It was such a warm welcome and that energy persisted all week. Dievole was an absolute haven and we would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Chianti.

28/08/2025: Wonderful dinner overlooking the valley. Refined cuisine, friendly and professional service, and a lovely setting. I especially recommend the desserts—it's rare to find such good ones in the region. I'm truly happy to see that La Chiusa, a historic Montefollonico institution, continues to exist and offer exceptional gastronomic experiences.

07/09/2025: I've been to this restaurant/pizzeria several times, and it's become one of my favorite places to have dinner and spend a pleasant evening. The pizza is the best I've ever had in the Poggibonsi area. Crispy, huge, light, and delicious! I could eat it every day. It's a shame I don't live in Poggibonsi, but I love coming here. I love it, and not just for special occasions, which is perfect. The refined and romantic atmosphere, every detail made with such care and love, are just perfect. The owners are very kind. They're pet-friendly, which is much appreciated. For me, it's the number one restaurant in Poggibonsi!

The service from all the staff is outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everywhere you look, whether from the restaurant, bar, pool, or relaxation areas, the views are breathtaking. The rooms are immaculately appointed, blending comfort and style to create an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. The menus and food deserve special mention as well—delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly paired with the surroundings. What a joy it was to stay here. Certosa di Maggiano truly offers an unforgettable Tuscan experience.

04/09/2025: Amazing hotel and historic building (built in 13th century). It used to be a monastery and was converted into a hotel. It still has an old church that is operating and you can visit. The whole feel is like you’ve been transported to a 1850’s five star hotel. Service is second to none. Highly recommended.

13/08/2025: Friendly staff, delicious food. We had an appetizer for two with Tuscan crostini, pici all'aglione, pici cacio e pepe, a tartare, the veal cheek, which I must say was delicious, and a Florentine steak, which, however, was a bit too fatty and, in my opinion, not perfectly cooked for the price. Overall, a great experience, and the restaurant, though small, is delightfully located next to a little church and in the heart of the village!

30/07/2025: We ordered everything from wild boar goulash to pici cacio e pepe to traditional lasagna. Everything was exceptionally good. Even the kids' fries were very good; they certainly looked handmade. The staff was very friendly and uncomplicated. The atmosphere, right in front of the church, was very cozy. The prices are very reasonable considering you're sitting right in the pedestrian zone in Castellini.

07/07/2025: We went to dinner at this beautiful restaurant. Their battuta is heavenly, never eaten so good!!! The tagliata di Maremmana really deserves to be served rare. A special thanks to the waitress Giada, very nice, cordial and professional, and to the owner who is friendly and willing to tell the story of the territory not only through typical dishes. Thank you!

08/06/2025: I only have to report a glass of wine for €12. I understand the quality of the wine, but I find the price really excessive. Unfortunately this detail was really negative compared to what the restaurant offered.

20/08/2025: The staff was courteous and attentive. We had made a reservation and were given a table inside, but as soon as we entered, we saw the view from the window and were asked if we wanted to eat on the terrace, a much-appreciated courtesy. They also checked several times to make sure everything was fine and to our liking. We felt pampered and welcomed. The dishes (other than pizzas) aren't many, but they're truly well-made. Simple yet tasty.

The quality of the ingredients is excellent: each dish exudes authenticity and care, with genuine flavors that showcase Tuscan tradition. The owners are delightful, welcoming, and friendly, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere of La Botteghina, combined with the beauty of the village of Asciano, makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended for those seeking good food, sincere hospitality, and the pleasure of experiencing authentic Tuscany. If you ever open a Botteghina near me, I'll be a regular! 20/08/2025: We found an absolute gem here. Only locals visit, and you can tell the food is genuinely local. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and, above all, the authenticity, although I would say it's a bit cheaper here than elsewhere.
