07/04/2025: To be honest, I confess that my experience at Lalla at lunch on Sunday was an "encore", certain of replicating the satisfaction with food and service from a year earlier. However it was a disappointment on all fronts. In addition to a room on the street level, Lalla has an underground room created in a small cave which probably served as a pantry for food and wine. In that small blind space, painted white to attenuate the sense of closedness, 4 tables are arranged, as well as at the edges of the stairs that lead down from the room. When booking we were advised that the only place available was in the "grottino" and we accepted the accommodation. What we didn't know, however, was that we would be FORGOTTEN, like the other customers who had the same fate of being accommodated in the cellar. Even if a place is full of customers, I find it unacceptable to wait 55 minutes to have an appetizer of cured meats served on a platter. I also find it unacceptable to wait a further 40 minutes to have the first course (an amatriciana and a plate of rigatoni with "an idea of" pajata), without anyone bothering to warn us of the wait or making it less burdensome with small precautions. Furthermore, it was not possible to get the attention of the dining room staff to point out the lack of pecorino on the dishes (expressly requested when ordering). If we needed more bread or water or more wine, we would have had to get up, go up the stairs and ask someone. I must say that this treatment is shameful for paying customers with reservations, and was also democratically reserved for the other unfortunates in the cave (which I think is more of a punishment for customers than a suggestive arrangement)! Ah... But the most exhilarating thing was when, when collecting the dishes, I was notified that the chicory I had ordered at 1.30pm, at 3.10pm (the time I finished the first course) was finished.... Too bad that when it rose to the surface, I noticed a nice plate of steaming chicory on the table of a couple who arrived at the restaurant long after us. In summary, two hours in a cave, without adequate service, to consume a plate of cured meats and two first courses which I honestly make better, the mockery of finding my chicory on another table and not even a discount on the total or the proposal of a glass of bitters offered by the house! Absolutely FAILURE!!! Lack of respect for customers who are evidently considered more numbers to cover than people to serve and please as they deserve.

26/03/2025: Very welcoming place, highly trained, very kind and friendly staff. The flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients incredibly fresh. I highly recommend the gnocchi, extraordinarily good 😋.. Congratulations 👍🏻

13/04/2025: I'm so impressed in the quality of the items sold in this pizzeria! I had an arancini that was to die for *the eggplant parm*, pizza! And a decant cannoli over 2 days.. the food is amazing! The staff! So kind, efficient and very helpful.. Will be back..

16/03/2025: Prices not commensurate with the quality and no transparency. I think it is morally obligatory to have transparency in knowing what you spend. My wife and I, 2 people, 3 pieces of pizza and 6 pieces of arancini and other things taken away for the family to taste, total cost of €46. Back home, supplì filled with sour aubergines, omelette stuffed with terrible carbonara. Small place to eat on site, if you want to stop, take it into account.

12/04/2025: We had a pleasant lunch here. We tried the starter for two people, a plate of delicious hare pappardelle and a delicious roe deer boscaiola style. The food was really great, definitely a good reason to come back. Furthermore, honest prices and very attentive service.

13/04/2025: As someone who has eaten great pizzas, I didn't like the pizzas at all. The only positive thing I can say was that the Bruschetta was very good. The waiters were very indifferent, which is what I don't like the most. We waited for the food for almost 1 hour. We entered the place by chance, I can say that the prices are very reasonable.

11/03/2025: We were here for the first time and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise! We were served immediately and the waitresses were very kind, nice and smiling. We started with crispy chicken fillets, slightly spiced, but really delicious!, then we took a portion of chips and continued with the pizzas. We ordered a "PAESANA" and a "PANCETTA", we were very impressed by the goodness, very light crunchy dough! They were really delicious with fresh ingredients. We finished with desserts, a panna cotta with Nutella (really a lot 😁) and a tiramisu. In short, to conclude we really had a really good time and so thank you for this beautiful and pleasant evening!

21/03/2025: Very nice environment, with many vintage objects that take you back in time. The tiramisu was excellent, but the cacio e pepe was a disappointment, halfway between gricia and cacio e pepe Five stars for the girl at the tables.

17/03/2025: I was there three weeks ago.. Very nice place.. After 30 minutes they brought bucatini amatriciana.. Result, decent bucatini with tomato. Then ordered a 1kg rib eye and a veal steak. And two side dishes. After about another thirty minutes the steak arrived and after an hour the rib eye arrived with the bone removed. The fat to eat was just 2 ounces. We asked for side dishes and they told us they were preparing them. They arrived after another twenty minutes. Restaurant to avoid. One and a half stars.

18/04/2025: Nice and cozy atmosphere although very small. The potential is there but the experience was disappointing. The waiter was listless bordering on rude, very slow service and exorbitant prices! A mixed platter for two people for 25 euros is a steal, especially considering that there were only two types of cured meats: mortadella and raw ham. Furthermore, 7 euros for a basket with 3 slices of focaccia (very good, of course...) seems like a roof top price in Via Veneto to me. I don't recommend it!

13/02/2025: You feel good, you eat well, you drink well, without necessarily "fainting". I love it because it makes you forget about living in a stressed and stressful city; for care even in simple things; because there is always a wine on your plate that's right for you.
