The food was absolutely wonderful, their options for classic dishes are extensive and everything we ordered was very tasty. The owner is very friendly, and he speaks english and converses well. The restaurant is also very close to the Vatican, which makes it very convenient for eating before or after you visit. The carpaccio and fried artichokes were incredible and it paired well with their house wine. Will return next time we visit Rome.

In visita al Vaticano mi fermo con mio figlio per pranzare, vogliamo assaggiare qualcosa legato alla tradizione. Mio figlio ha delle allergie alimentari serie eppure siamo arrivati a fine pranzo pieni e soddisfatti. Carciofi fritti di antipasto, penne all’arrabbiata per lui e spaghetti alla carbonara per me, abbacchio a scottadito per entrambi. Buono il vino, rosso dei colli. Un ringraziamento particolare a Mario che ci ha accolti e coccolati fino alla fine. A presto!
