19/03/2026: Walking through Piazza San Rocco, we noticed this incredible historic shop with a very inviting little door. We sat down and were immediately greeted warmly by Luca, the owner. From there on, we were spoiled by the dishes, starting with the appetizer, continuing with the first and second courses, and concluding with incredible desserts. The wine list also lives up to the food, especially with a carefully selected selection of local wines; the Genovese di pecora is highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

17/03/2026: Courtesy, helpfulness, and high-quality dishes. The cacio e pepe is amazing, but everything else is superb. The owners are truly wonderful. It's a truly beautiful restaurant.

01/03/2026: Excellent hospitality, excellent and warm staff, fast and accurate service, excellent and delicious food, top-notch meat, a warm atmosphere perfect for an evening with friends or as a couple. Very good selection of meats and spirits. Very quiet area, perfect for a post-dinner stroll.

07/02/2026: I live near this place and was really curious to try it. Finally, one day for lunch, I decided to go, and I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. I had the grilled calamari, which arrived beautifully presented and very tender. The side dishes also looked very well-prepared and delicious. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return. I was hoping to spend less, but that's a vain hope these days.

From the outdoor tables, at the edge of an olive grove, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Roman countryside, from Mount Soratte to Terminillo. Excellent preparations. They also serve pizza for lunch. The grilled meats are delicious. Friendly staff and fast service. Average prices.

12/04/2026: Two lunches, two completely different experiences. I had lunch with friends at the end of March, and everything was delicious. The service was attentive, the staff welcoming and smiling. I decided to book a group lunch for over 20 people, and together with the restaurant owner, we decided on a fixed menu. We were offered a series of dishes that looked very promising on the menu. It's a shame that not a single thing went right. We arrived, and no one bothered to welcome us. I waited and asked for our table. We asked for at least two children to eat, but even then we still waited forever for two pasta dishes. What was unforgivable was that they served burnt cutlets to some of the children, which weren't made of meat but of some fatty cured meat left over from the fryer. Luckily, at our insistence, they later changed the menu. We had to get up to ask for bread and water. We had to ask for the first course, which was the same for everyone (at 2:45 PM, only the appetizer of cured meats and cheeses had been served; the rest of the menu, namely the baked legumes, hadn't arrived, and we didn't dare ask). Let's ignore the second course because the mashed potatoes were clearly the worst quality bagged ones; very hospital-style, bland food. They left some salad on the table, but there was no trace of oil or dressing. The only positive note goes to the desserts. Poor service is understandable, but a series of shortcomings, one after another, are starting to indicate that perhaps the legs aren't yet trained to adequately manage such numbers. A complimentary coffee or an apology for the long wait would have been enough (we arrived at 1:45 PM and left after three hours for a cured meats platter, a first course, and a second course that wasn't even freshly cooked is a bit much). It's a shame, because the location has potential; it would just need someone experienced who can manage the kitchen even during a busy service rush. Wait staff who pay attention to detail and don't just bring out dishes. I was really disappointed because I was hoping to bring everyone something good to eat, but that wasn't the case; we just ate because we were hungry.

23/04/2026: A go-to place in Parioli for good, healthy food. They're quick, super-precise, and super friendly...if you want something different, but always balanced and tasty, this is the place to go. For me, it's top!

09/12/2025: We chose the old village as the location for our wedding on October 25th. What can I say? We couldn't have made a better choice. The staff immediately proved to be highly knowledgeable and ready to fulfill our every wish. The location is truly breathtaking; as soon as we entered, we had no doubts: this was the perfect place for our big day. The food was exquisite, prepared freshly, and the staff on the day of the event saved our wedding, planning an aperitif and cake outside on a day with very unpredictable weather. I could spend hours listing all the positives we experienced in 10 months of preparation, but it wouldn't be enough. We sincerely hope that all our dearest friends choose the old village for their weddings, so that we can return and surely have another unforgettable and perfectly organized day. Thank you to Sonya, Gloria, and Giorgia for all your support and professionalism, and thank you to all the staff who accompanied us on our wedding day. 15/04/2026: Won't be coming back due to the rude cashier when you go to pay. Already had two bad encounters with them before, but yesterday was the worst and final one. Anywhere I go in Rome, I always try to speak Italian out of respect. I'm Catalan and Spanish so I can defend myself pretty well with it and can understand almost everything. But yesterday, when I couldn't understand ONE thing, they straight up told me in an aggressive tone, "Don't try to speak Italian if you don't know it, talk to me directly in English so you don't waste my time." That's not a way to treat your customers, or people in general. I understand that facing-the-public jobs can be tiring, especially if you're in a touristy neighborhood, but that doesn't give you the right to make people feel as bad as this person does. I would never react this way if someone was trying to speak to me in any of my mother languages. It should be something encouraged, not punished. From what I saw from other one-star reviews, it's not the first time (or twentieth) that this person has acted like this. If I were them, I would be embarrassed for myself. Do better.
