Tiella e Panzerotti In Roma

Good food, light for a full-bodied traditional cuisine.

I've known it since it opened. The products are excellent quality and it's close to my house (a two-minute walk). Today I had an excellent puccia and fries around 6:15 PM.

A beautiful place, good food, wonderful staff... I will often return to eat Apulian food in Rome.

The panzerotti are delicious, as are the focaccia and the famous scagliozze. For a native of Puglia, it's a way to feel at home even when in Rome.

I went to eat at Tiella e Panzerotti, I found the staff welcoming and professional, the place very clean, and not to mention the food was all excellent, the panzerotti were delicious, one better than the other, really good and light food... Highly recommended... Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the pasta with the other dishes... But I'll be back to visit you soon.

We had a great experience here. We were greeted upon entry by the most friendly staff. She welcomed us in, helped us being up the menu via QR code. She then brought over a demonstration of the different types of sandwich offerings they have, explaining some of the regions of origin and typical preparations. She also provided a small sample for us to try. When we ordered, she insisted we sit and she brought our meals to us, despite this being a counter-service style restaurant. We then enjoyed the sandwiches. We had the focaccia with tomato and cheese, a panzerotti with tomato and cheese, the panzerotti with smoked salmon, and another panzerotti with meat and cheese. It was great to have fresh vegetables included in the sandwiches. They were all delicious and we really enjoyed. The hot food. The cafe is small and decorated with cute Italian honey items.

The potato balls are highly recommended!

Everything was excellent, from the panzerotti to the pettole, from the tiella to the focaccia to the pasticciotti. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

As a native of Puglia who has lived in Lazio for over thirty years, I've always been wary of places that promise "authentic flavors of Puglia," often resulting in huge disappointments. This time, I had to change my mind: at Tiella e Panzerotti, Puglia truly shines, and in some cases, it even exceeds expectations. Here's my detailed review: Focaccia barese (Rating 10): Simply perfect. Extremely light dough, masterful leavening, flavorful tomatoes, and exceptional olives. A flavor so authentic that it's sometimes hard to find even in our homeland. Scagliozzi, pettole, and pasticciotto: exemplary. Prepared to perfection, they faithfully respect tradition. Panzerotto: The dough is impeccable, leavened to perfection, and masterfully fried without leaving a trace of grease. The only improvement: The filling just needs to be better balanced; there was a bit too much mozzarella and not enough tomato. Puccia: The base is exceptional and divinely cooked. It just needs a slightly more generous filling to be truly outstanding. Overall, it's a rare find, even in Puglia. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone seeking the true culinary soul of Puglia. Congratulations!
