Surprised by the flavors! Original dishes with a unique, time-honored flavor. The use of risoni pasta instead of rice was brilliant, and it amazed me. The kindness and professionalism of the service is also noteworthy. Knowing all the ingredients and procedures for each dish is not a given. Congratulations, and see you soon for a taste of all the desserts.

I ordinarily don’t eat twice in the same place abroad but Mile was so good we had to go back. Giuseppe, our server, was phenomenal and both attentive and considerate, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. He made sure to let us know which menu items were no longer available due to seasonality but even we so we devoured the bruschetta (special) carbonara, chicory, and octopus (regular menu). The carbonara was especially good but we came back the next day just for the bruschetta. Giuseppe was an excellent recommender and describer of wines as well and we had the best time there overall. I would say this was our favorite place we ate in Pignoto if not Rome overall and I’m shocked it doesn’t have more recognition. The menu is inventive, it’s higher-ish concept but still affordable and accessible within the neighborhood concern and very much a true neighborhood gem. I cannot recommend enough except it means it may be harder for me to get a table there my next time in Pigneto. Also, the tiramisu was incredible!

Food was fantastic, I had the risoni special with smoked eggplant. The wine to pair was excellent and reasonably priced.

This was the best restaurant we found in Rome. Even though we did eat in many good restaurants, this was our favourite, the risoni is really delicious.

Excellent food. Pastas were all amazing. Location is A++, just off the main drag but quiet enough for a nice meal along friends. Wine was also excellent. Highly recommend.

I visited twice during my trip to Rome, which should tell you everything. The first dinner was good enough that I booked the same table on my last night in the city rather than try anywhere else. The food is genuinely exceptional. Over the two nights I worked my way through the pannacotta vegetale al cocco with pineapple gel and almond crumble, gnocco, bruschettone, and an amatriciana that was easily the best I had in Rome. Simple dishes done with real care. The atmosphere struck exactly the right balance, lively enough to feel like you are in the right place, calm enough to actually enjoy your meal and the people you are with. A particular thank you to Giuseppe, the waiter both nights, whose warmth and attentiveness made the whole experience feel genuinely personal rather than transactional. If you are visiting Rome, do not leave without eating here
