This is a restaurant that's close to my heart. I've been going there for 20 years, and I must say it's steadily improved over time. The owners take excellent care of it, and over the years they've improved the ambiance, the food, the wine cellar, and more. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. They have several different spaces, and it's hard to choose between indoors and outdoors, as it's beautiful and welcoming everywhere. Located in the heart of ancient Rome, it boasts corners with its ruins and a cellar located inside a 1st-century AD underground tomb. Eating at this restaurant is a unique experience. The dishes are carefully prepared and boast refined cuisine made with exceptional ingredients. Everything is delicious. I recommend it for a perfect evening or for bringing someone new to the restaurant. Success is guaranteed. One last thing, the most recent addition is two small rooms for private dinners or events, located on the first floor of this unique structure. Thank you for welcoming us last Saturday 🤍

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a celiac, the first thing I look for when choosing a restaurant is the gluten-free offerings, and L’Archeologia truly won me over. From the moment we arrived, we found the staff knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, making us feel immediately at ease. Their attention to dietary needs didn't seem like a mere formality, but rather a genuine dedication to the customer. The food was excellent: dishes prepared with quality ingredients, flavorful, and meticulously crafted. It's one of those places where, bite after bite, you realize there's a passion behind what they do. The location was also very pleasant: beautiful and relaxing, with the added bonus of finding parking quickly, which is not a given in Rome. I recommend it especially to those looking for a reliable gluten-free place, but also to those who simply want to eat well and enjoy attentive, professional service. I will gladly return.

I visited around May 22, 2023, and the food, wine, and service were all good. A fly got into my wine glass, so I told the waiter and they replaced it.

I guess it is one of the best restaurants that you can find in rome !
