27/06/2025: This is one of the best restaurants I've eaten in Rome so far. The price is very reasonable. The seafood is very fresh and the noodles are chewy! I will always come back. The boss is also very kind!

19/05/2025: Questa trattoria è la classica bottega piccola con vino buono anzi, eccellente!! Abbiamo preso 3 carbonara (porzioni abbondanti), 3 patate al forno, 3 dolci e un menù a buffet accompagnati da una bottiglia di vino, acqua e caffè finali, il conto è stato direi onesto, abbiamo mangiato benissimo e ho gradito molto la doppia opzione di scelta tra menù a' la carte e buffet, nel quale vi erano quel giorno orecchiette alla amatriciana, cotoletta alla romana e moltissime verdure di cui ho fatto felicemente il bis, torneremo sicuramente a mangiare in questo ristorante anche per la simpatia di chi ci ha portato i piatti in tavola, una menzione particolare alla signora bionda alla quale non ho chiesto il nome ma è stata di una simpatia travolgente!! Assolutamente consigliato!!

27/04/2025: We took some round pizzas and two supplì. The wait was quite short. The supplì were good, even if they seemed a little too similar to each other so we don't know if they are homemade or laboratory-made. The round pizzas were very generous and tasty. If we come back, we will try other flavors!

11/07/2025: Excellent food! Super quality!! Tip : you should definitely work up a nice appetite walking thru the streets of Beautiful Roma before entering here. Hehehehehe ... the portions r humongous !! And if you are lucky, you will have Ílaria as your host .. such a kind and wonderful person! Very, very nice!!!! We are def. gonna go back and eat here! Absolutely worth it!

24/05/2025: Appena entri all"osteria al Casaletto trovi fin dal giardino una location davvero curata e l'atmosfera che si respira anche nei ambienti interni molto curati è intima ma elegante con una raffinatezza che non disturba. Lo chef è molto presente e creativo senza rinunciare al gusto sovrano. Il menù ci ha conquistati per un pranzo dopo una cerimonia che ricorderemo per la sapiente scelta e abbinamento di ingredienti ma senza lasciare indietro la tradizione..

28/06/2025: Overall, it is a lovely restaurant, with true home cooked food that reminds me of how the Italian immigrants of the 1950’s would cook. The reason I have given four stars, not five as I usually do, is because of the portion sizes versus the price you pay, but also the owner/manager. He did not do anything wrong, but his demeanor was pretty low and borderline off putting. His wife/partner and the young waitress were lovely, and the food itself was delicious which is why I didn’t give this review three stars. There is also the convenience of being able to book as opposed to most places. Definitely not a tourist trap with locals coming, but just note the prices/portion sizes.

27/06/2025: What you expect from a trattoria. Tasty dishes. Simple and welcoming environment with very helpful and friendly staff. Fast service. Average prices €30 per person (2 first courses/ 1 second course/ 1 side dish/ 2 desserts/ 1 water).

15/06/2025: Tasty appetizer. Tasty first courses (we had seconds). Quality home cooking, we ate outside with a view of the green mountain of Livata. We had a great time. It's also nice to see mother and daughters who run the business with so much passion. Congratulations.

07/06/2025: Hospitality, cordiality and professionalism: three simple adjectives to describe today's experience at "l'allegra locanda". Pina and her daughters will know how to welcome you and make you feel at home, and then delight you with typical dishes of Calabrian cuisine and more. The quality of the products will also make the culinary experience unique. P.S. highly recommended are both the fusilli alla cosentina made as per tradition with the so-called "ferretto" and the chicken thigh "alle tre cotture", in addition to the tiramisu and the perfectly fried cruschi peppers (a rarity in these parts). 16/07/2025: It took a long time for us to get service.. More than 20 minutes until one of the waitresses came to take our order. The waitresses were fighting over who came to us. Big disappointment. The portions were small The burger was a patty and some fries. No bun, vegetables or sauces. The Royal salad was relatively large, but not adapted in terms of plates and had something very bitter in it. The schnitzel was large and tasty, some fries on the side. The ham and couscous - I've eaten better. We ordered the mashed potatoes with meat inside (I forgot the name) - there was no meat and a strong powdery taste. Disappointment. In relation to all this, the price is expensive and not worth it

01/07/2025: This restaurant is simply EXCEPTIONAL!! Being of Libyan descent, I truly recognize the quality, generosity, and inexplicable flavor of my father and family's cooking 🤩 the mfroum, the incredible hlaimi to dip in their delicious bread, the malawakh, the meat brick... everything was amazing. A visit to this restaurant is a must; it gave me goosebumps! I've tried all the famous kosher restaurants in Rome, and this one is, for me, the best in the city.

21/05/2025: It's a very good place where I've been going since they opened but now they've raised the prices too much so I almost don't go anymore 😪 they had already raised them the first time but now again, in fact the ones you pay are even different from those on the menu

14/06/2025: I happened upon it by chance because I was invited to a wine and food tasting. I didn't know it at all and it's a real shame. Great cuisine at the level of the starred ones, excellent quality raw materials and treated very well, very pleasant surroundings next to the Tiber, young and impeccable service. A dinner and a place to remember and to go there often

24/06/2025: First time to celebrate an anniversary. Simple and characteristic place. Food with Apulian specialties and meats to choose from at the counter according to preferences. Varied choice. Meats cooked on the grill with particular care. All in the name of authenticity and attention to the customer. Try it even for those with sophisticated palates and it is worth tasting and sampling foods that will make the evening a moment of pure conviviality. Very accessible price.

28/05/2025: I've been to the restaurant with some friends, we've been wanting to try it for a while. There's a wide selection of Apulian bombette and other cuts of meat, from steaks, to pork chops, to sausages... honestly we found them very good, excellent even in size. The price is very fair (29€ per kg, that's about 15 bombette), and above all the owner was very kind! They also offered us some rustic biscuits at the end and some tomato bruschetta at the beginning, much appreciated. Highly recommended, thank you!
