Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything was beautifully prepared. Luciana, our waitress, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Rome!

I've been hooked on spritzes since my previous visit to Venice, and I'd been searching for a good aperitivo, but they were so expensive in central Rome... Then I found a sign for a Happy Hour spritze and polpette for €7. (July 2026) I went in with some skepticism, but it really was true! A gorgeous plate and a spritze overflowing with food. I thought €7 was a lie, but it really was €7 total. It's unbelievable! This place is a hidden gem in Rome. The polpette and bruschetta plate was huge, filling me up completely. And the polpette were crispy meatballs I'd never had before. The tomatoes were fresh and delicious too. One spritze wasn't enough, so I ordered a small glass of white wine, which also seemed inexpensive. I only ordered that as an aperitivo, but I was so full I fell asleep, and I regretted not ordering pasta as well. On the back of the friendly staff member's T-shirt was a Jiro-style catchphrase: "With 80g of pasta, you can only tell if it's cooked through." Apparently, what actually comes out is, of course, a huge portion and delicious. The carbonara looks delicious with its crispy guanciale. Takeout seems to be available as well. I will definitely visit again and take on the mountain of pasta challenge.

We had dinner with exceptional first courses, abundant and tasty. The girl who welcomed us was very kind and smiling. You will definitely be happy to return to Er Polpetta!

We were allowed to taste different types of Limoncello; the girl was very friendly and gave us sweets to sample alongside the Limoncello. She knew a lot to tell us about it. A very nice little shop. We even got a free cup of lemon lemonade when we paid.

Delicious food, excellent value, and incredibly friendly staff. I even brought my dog ​​with me, and they welcomed him in the best way I could hope for. A truly excellent experience.

Insane meatballs, and generally abundant dishes

A lovely place just steps from Piazza Navona: simple, unpretentious, but definitely worth the wait. It's one of the few places in the area that doesn't feel like a tourist trap, and the prices are truly fair. In 2026, a good carbonara for €12 in the heart of Rome is almost a rarity. Highly recommended!!!

We had a wonderful meal: the oxtail meatballs were delicious, as were the chicory. The coffee, served with a moka pot, was excellent. The staff was very friendly and professional. Recommended.

Excellent Roman restaurant with reasonable prices despite its proximity to Piazza Navona. Their motto is "with 80 grams I can only tell you if the pasta is cooked." The (generous) first courses are served in pans. I loved it, and I'll be back.
