15/06/2025: The mozzarella and tomato pizza was amazing. The croissant with yellow filling was also fantastic. I had two of each. The staff are hardworking and polite. I normally don't write reviews, but this place truly deserves praise. I definitely recommend the pizza I mentioned — you won't regret it.

15/05/2025: In my opinion one of the nicest bars in the entire outlet. The outdoor space with tables and umbrellas is very pleasant. I have always only had breakfast there so I cannot comment on the rest: in my opinion good quality but prices are definitely a bit too high. I have also always found it quite crowded (obviously this is not meant to be a criticism of the business, on the contrary) making it sometimes a bit difficult to consume. However I would say recommended.

02/07/2025: Ate here 01/072025. Waiter wasn’t listening to anything we were asking for just trying to upsell all the time- just a very unpleasant experience. Food was very average Wouldn’t recommend. Just trying to take what they can from tourists. Avoid

22/07/2025: I sat there for 25 minutes waiting for them to serve me but then they served every other table but mine, the manager looked at us like we weren’t meant to be there. For the first time in my life my skin Colour mattered and in the end we had to get up and leave

19/07/2025: Food was delicious, overpriced but still really good. Our waiter was nice talkative and friendly. Gave one our the people at our table a free shot.

12/07/2025: Sporco ovunque e totalmente decadente, piscina dall’acqua verde! Sembra impossibile che sia concessa l’apertura al pubblico di uno stabilimento/ristorante in queste condizioni.

29/06/2025: Con il desiderio di trascorrere una giornata al mare con la mia bimba senza la preoccupazione di cercare parcheggio, mi imbatto, sull’app spiagge.it, in questo lido. Per assicurarmi, oltre all’ombrellone, il posto auto, decido comunque di chiamare la struttura per specificare la mia necessità di fruire del parcheggio (a pagamento). La receptionist accetta la prenotazione, acquisisce i miei dati (un giorno prima), e dunque serenamente affronto 1h di traffico con la mia piccola con la prospettiva di un pranzo sul mare e una serena giornata al sole. Giunta sul posto alle 12:30, un maleducatissimo addetto alla logistica mi ingiunge di andar via perché il parcheggio è pieno e non possono accettare altri ospiti! Gli faccio presente la prenotazione ma non vuol sentire ragioni e mi intima con aggressività di spostarmi immediatamente con l’auto per consentire il passaggio al suo furgone, obbligandomi peraltro ad attraversare una strettoia in cui rischio di distruggere la mia auto. Mai più!

15/06/2025: Achtung hier handelt es sich um Abzocke! Es gibt hier nur eine Größe (Becher) den man vollmachen kann mit jeder Sorte die man möchte inkl. Schlag und einer kleine Knabbertüte. An der Kassa kommt dann der große Schock. Pro Becher bezahlt man 15€!! Es stehen weder am Eingang oder sonst wo ein Preise. Die Preise sieht man erst, wenn man an der Kassa steht. Der Becher ist ca. zwei Kugeln. Direkt gegenüber ist auch eine Eisdiele, wo man für zwei Kugeln 3,80€ bezahlt. Das Eis selbst war dann wenigstens nicht so schlecht. Diese Diele sieht uns nie wieder und ich hoffe auch keinen von euch (die das vorher gelesen haben).

12/05/2025: Pasquetta. Menù fisso, poca scelta stavolta. Prendo le fettuccine alla pescatora e il “gran Fritto”, che alla fine era un semplice fritto di calamari, moscardini e gamberetti. Buona coordinazione tra la cucina e le ragazze il sala. Mi accorgo che delle 75 foto su TripAdv 67 sono le mie e oggi, al mio arrivo, non trovavano la mia prenotazione... Bravi! Mi chiedo se sono venuto troppo spesso!

12/05/2025: Antipasti risicati e troppo costosi per la qualità del pesce. Pasta alle vongole acquosa e senza sapore, calamaro alla piastra di minime dimensioni. Prezzo alto per quanto mangiato. Una delusione.

19/07/2025: I'm giving it one star because I can't give it a zero. Rude, unpleasant, and impertinent. We were about to order breakfast, quietly, when the manager sees a pistachio croissant from another nearby place in a bag. Without further ado, and with very rude manners, he tells us that he won't be serving us and that we should leave. Just like that. I repeat up to three times that I'm not going to eat the croissant there, that we just want breakfast, and that if it bothers him so much, I'll save it. But nothing. Rude, crude, and with an absolutely ridiculous attitude, he insists that we leave. I'm amazed. As if bringing a bag from somewhere else were a crime. Well, I hope it becomes known as "the empty place" by the Trevi Fountain. Because with that kind of treatment, it's unlikely anyone will come in.

12/07/2025: We have been sitting during half an hour outside, no one was interested and asked about anything. Even though the crew was take care of another clients which they arrived after us. Main chief waiters were so arrogant and unhelpful. Such a shame for nice place and location.

30/06/2025: Great bar with very good coffee, and one evening I was also here at the restaurant to eat! Tonnarelli cacio e pepe very good, exquisite appetizers; Kind and friendly staff :-) I will gladly return ;-) It is located in a nice, central and well-connected area :-)

18/07/2025: Provato per il nome Bocciato di fatto. Macedonia insapore, cortesia solo con gli habitué, prezzi da ristorante per servizio tipo fast food... Cancellato !

11/05/2025: Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.

01/07/2025: Rude staff, I asked for a slice of pizza and cutting half a pan he told me "I've cut it now". I said I hope the pizza is good, and it was completely raw and inedible, don't go to this place if you want to have a clear conscience

02/03/2025: It was the worst pizza I ate. Scam. Sellers overcharged me and tried to push and sell more. The pizza is disgusting, and the service is horrible

30/06/2025: I stopped here once before Castel Sant’Angelo, on Via della Conciliazione. The coffee was okay, probably because they use Illy brand. I had one espresso and one orange juice al banco (no table service), and they charged me €6.90. I still don’t understand how that was calculated. The orange juice wasn’t fresh and the glass was only 2/3 full. But the worst part was the attitude of the two baristas – no hello, no “please”, just a very rude and arrogant way of dealing with people. I’ve honestly never seen a place with so many bad reviews. That made me feel like my experience wasn’t just a one-time thing. Seems like most people are unhappy with the quality and service. The location is amazing, but sadly, like many places near tourist landmarks, they don’t care about quality or customer experience. It feels more like a tourist trap.

14/06/2025: Ordered 1 bruschetta that didn’t have a price, got 2 instead (and charged) then got charged for 2 prossuito and cheese and spent $90 on this crap. The waiter insisted on a tip ina country that doesn’t require tips and got upset when I handed him my change for him standing at the door. Awful service, crap food and wasn’t worth the air conditioning we wanted to pay for. AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE

28/06/2025: Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience here. The person who appeared to be the owner was unexpectedly very rude. We ordered takeaway, but the food was handed to us on an open plate, with the assumption that we’d eat it outside on the street. Since all the outdoor chairs were almost empty, food in open plates and no one else was waiting, we sat down briefly—just for about five minutes—to enjoy our pastry. However, the owner approached us quite abruptly, insisting that we leave the seating area because we had ordered takeaway. The attitude and handling of the situation felt unnecessarily harsh, especially given that we weren’t occupying space for long or preventing other customers from being seated.

26/06/2025: We asked for a scoop of ice cream and were served a cup of three scoops. When we pointed out that it wasn't good, we were told it was too late and we had to pay. Avoid.

09/06/2025: Keep walking! Anything near to a tourist attraction, especially as big a draw card as Trevi is going to be questionable. This one is no exception. The food isn't bad, but you're just a number.

09/06/2025: As a passerby, I was insulted for no reason by a service employee. I would stay away from such disgusting people; the food and service speak for themselves!

11/05/2025: Very nice location, decent food, absurd prices... Sandwich with porchetta if taken away €5 eaten on the spot €9 plus cover obviously, a husband €6, taken a slice of pizza and coffee..... spent €53. Now I understand that we are in Rome, this does not justify wanting to cheat anyone who gets caught in that net. The prices are not clear, the explanations of the addition of costs not understandable. Simply don't stop at this place if you don't want to be fleeced

30/04/2025: The only saving grace for this restaurant was the Gelato. Its 3€ for 2 scoops in a small cone. We enjoyed the Gelato so much, we came back on another day on our trip to Rome. The 2nd time we came, we also bought food... we ordered salmon, spaghetti, meatballs, and pizza. Salmon came with squid - but both were really bland. Spaghetti was very salty. Meatballs were okay.. and the pizza was hard and rubbery. If you come here - Gelato was delicious and a great price! Otherwise, I'd skip it.
