Great place, very good Roman-style pizza! The staff were very kind and patient; they were friendly and showed us which pork-free pizzas we could order.

Antico Caffè Santamaria

03/05/2026: Excellent for a nice breakfast, but nothing more. The dinner options leave much to be desired; they can be found in cheaper and, above all, tastier trattorias nearby.
06/04/2026: A perfect view of the basilica, a large selection of cakes and coffees. I was tempted by the chocolate-hazelnut cake with Nutella cream. Good, not too sweet. Prices are quite high; I paid 5 euros for a cappuccino, and about 10 for a cake. I suspect the café's higher prices are due to its location.

21/05/2026: Great, don't know where everyone gets it to rate so low. But Lorenzo is great, good food, good hospitality. So great.
20/05/2026: A huge thank you to the wonderful staff for their warm welcome, excellent service, and kind words. I don't know about the reviews, but the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The kindness and good manners were more than enough. 🌹 Greetings to Abu Abdulhai and Abu Abdullah. 🙏
