14/11/2025: Personel extremely antipathetic and annoying. According to them if you sit to have a coffee you’re not allowed nor entitled to use the restroom. A place to completely avoid! Also the food is overpriced for the quality they provide

11/11/2025: The perfect tourist trap! I ordered a pizza, and serving a pizza like that should be a crime punishable by imprisonment in Italy! Avoid at all costs!

13/08/2025: Horrible place. We decided to go there because they were having a "one-meter pizza for €15" promotion, but they pressured us into buying it and then didn't show us how much they were charging when we paid. We ended up paying over €35 for a terrible-quality pizza.

19/10/2025: Food was good, the service efficient given the restaurant was full. But it is noisy, and people smoke outside. Worst of all, 10 € for a small glass of fruit juice is way too much.

02/07/2025: Ate here 01/072025. Waiter wasn’t listening to anything we were asking for just trying to upsell all the time- just a very unpleasant experience. Food was very average Wouldn’t recommend. Just trying to take what they can from tourists. Avoid

25/07/2025: We went for coffee after dinner and sat at a table. After two seconds, the lady, holding a spray bottle, asked us to stand up because we were wearing work clothes: "You can't sit down in work pants." It's the first time in many years that something like this has happened to me, as if I were at the Ritz... Rude, to say the least. I recommend putting up a sign with the necessary requirements for sitting down, to avoid very unpleasant situations.

15/06/2025: Achtung hier handelt es sich um Abzocke! Es gibt hier nur eine Größe (Becher) den man vollmachen kann mit jeder Sorte die man möchte inkl. Schlag und einer kleine Knabbertüte. An der Kassa kommt dann der große Schock. Pro Becher bezahlt man 15€!! Es stehen weder am Eingang oder sonst wo ein Preise. Die Preise sieht man erst, wenn man an der Kassa steht. Der Becher ist ca. zwei Kugeln. Direkt gegenüber ist auch eine Eisdiele, wo man für zwei Kugeln 3,80€ bezahlt. Das Eis selbst war dann wenigstens nicht so schlecht. Diese Diele sieht uns nie wieder und ich hoffe auch keinen von euch (die das vorher gelesen haben).

01/10/2025: Avoid this place — hidden fees, terrible service, overpriced They automatically added a 25% tip without telling me — that’s $8 on a $10 drink. Nowhere was it mentioned upfront. Feels like a scammy practice. The service was extremely rude and dismissive, with staff acting annoyed at even basic requests. The food was cold, bland, and overpriced — tasted like reheated leftovers. Drinks were watered down and not worth the price. Tables were dirty, wait times were long, and the whole experience felt like a tourist trap designed to overcharge unsuspecting customers. There are much better places nearby — this one should be avoided at all costs.

02/07/2025: I recently decided to pay a visit to "Montanari Caffetteria" based on reviews I had read online. Unfortunately, I have to admit that my experience did not meet my expectations. First of all, I noticed that the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The environment conveyed a sense of neglect, with unkempt tables and a floor that showed obvious signs of aging. In a place like a coffee shop, hygiene is of fundamental importance, so this situation immediately made me uncomfortable. Moving on to the heart of the experience in a coffee shop, namely the coffee, I have to say that I was even more disappointed. I expected to enjoy a strong, aromatic and flavorful coffee, but unfortunately I was served something that can only be described as an extremely diluted version of coffee, more similar to "dirty water" than the traditional Italian drink. In addition to the disappointing quality, I found the price decidedly excessive. I understand that in some places you may pay more for the ambiance or the superior products, but in this case I felt that the price was not justified by either. In conclusion, unfortunately I cannot recommend "Montanari Caffetteria". For those looking for a quality coffee experience I would recommend exploring other options in the area, which offer not only a clean and welcoming environment, but also a coffee that meets Italian expectations in terms of taste and quality, while maintaining a fair quality-price ratio.

29/10/2025: The food was awful; the pizza looked and tasted like the cheapest supermarket pizza, simply reheated, as you can see in the photo. The carbonara was terrible; I could have made it myself. The toilet was dirty and had no toilet seat. I thought I was going to a nice bar with homemade food and a nice view of the fountain, but unfortunately, it was only a nice view. At least I've learned my lesson to always read reviews before eating somewhere.

27/10/2025: Sat down before we saw that this restaurant is rated low. Our experience disputes a low rating. We purchased a chicken dish and a spaghetti dish. Both were good and reasonably priced. We also had 1 beer, 1 small water and bread for €29. Service was friendly. Cash only which is no big deal.

14/10/2025: A heartfelt piece of advice: stay away. The rudest service and the display case full of stale food. Terrible value for money.

05/09/2025: DON'T COME. They charge you 10% of the cover and also ask for a tip. They say their terminal isn't working and practically force you to pay in cash.

02/09/2025: They added 10% to the bill without explanation. Debit card payments are not possible, and the staff barely speak English and are not very friendly.

08/11/2025: Confirm what is being ordered. Don't let them make recommendations! They asked us if we wanted some nice antipasti, and they hooked us for almost €200 worth of apps that we didn't ask for, nor necessarily want. Our dinner - for five of us - including drinks, should have been just north of €200. The final bill was €444. And then, the guy asked repeatedly for a tip (in cash).... It was unbelievable. We had excellent service everywhere else, and will be leaving glowing reviews ... But wanted to make sure that we shared our story on this place, so others may be spared from getting gipped like we did. They saw us coming!!!

07/11/2025: The food was below average. The prices were high. And on top of that, there was a €7 service charge. This restaurant is far below par; I don't recommend it.

02/11/2025: Unfortunately, I've just read the reviews. Please take the negative comments and this one seriously. What happens to many customers has happened to us. I understand that their tactic is to defraud customers under the guise of goodwill. First, you send the wrong order to the table, create a psychological illusion with rude behavior as if it were the customer's fault, and then accept a portion of the wrong order thinking it's no problem. They sent us the wrong order and an additional three-piece bruschetta. When I objected, they said it was between what you said, and to avoid arguing in front of the many tourists you're at odds with, you didn't extend the order, thinking, "How much can bruschetta cost?" However, when you check your bill, you see that the bruschetta, which was quite bad and tasteless, was added to the bill for 15 euros. Because they sent us two wrong orders, we ended up paying 30 euros. Furthermore, the pizza they sent instead of our gourmet pizza was similar in ingredients. Initially, we thought there was no mistake, but we started eating it. Later, when I asked another waiter what it was called, he told me it was Pizza Fungi. When we called the white-shirted waiter who placed the order, presumably the head waiter, he replied, "You shouldn't have eaten it." This time, when we asked him to correct the order, he said he would. After asking for the final bill, we discovered he'd added a 20% tip, which was 16 euros. We ended up paying 46 euros more. This horse-thief-like guy, to appear charming, offers customers limoncello shots along with the bill. This is his tactic: first, inflate the bill, then look charming, and then fool everyone. I will forward the audio and video recordings I have to the relevant authorities for any complaints I may have. I'm writing this detailed and lengthy review to do some good for every tourist who reads it and decides not to go. Finally, I want to say that I believe they deserve every word that comes out of the mouth of the parrot in the movie "Saglam 3" I recently watched.

26/09/2025: We had dinner with three people on September 25, 2025. The service was terrible, the waiters were rude, and there was no dessert or coffee. They cleared our table and brought the bill so we could get up. And on top of that, they told you the tip wasn't included. Not recommended at all. Avoid it, it's a rip-off. (Logroño)

18/07/2025: Provato per il nome Bocciato di fatto. Macedonia insapore, cortesia solo con gli habitué, prezzi da ristorante per servizio tipo fast food... Cancellato !

11/05/2025: Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.
