06/06/2025: Was staying very close and having just arrived decided to eat here - didn’t see the reviews till after visiting but can only speak as we found - I had meatballs while the wife had a tuna salad sandwich - both were lovely 👌🏻 and the staff were pleasant.

17/03/2025: Mi sobrina y yo vinimos esta tarde a almorzar y el hombre del frente se resistía a dejarnos entrar. Se burló cuando nos vio. Vi dos mesas que estaban disponibles y no tenían carteles reservados. ¿Por qué hizo esto? La respuesta era clara para nosotros. No somos blancos, de piel. Todos los demás en ese restaurante obviamente lo eran. Estoy disgustada.

08/07/2025: The service and food was good, but I was not happy with the way the tip was handled. At the time of payment, the waiter added €9 as a tip without asking me or giving me a choice. I believe tips should be voluntary, not pushed onto the customer.

27/06/2025: Slow and expensive service, a soft drink costs 8 euros and sometimes they bring you things you didn't order, a croissant costs 4 and on top of that it's very stiff, as if it were from last week.

21/06/2025: Unfortunately I find myself morally forced to write a terrible review for this Bar and to have to warn tourists, due to the terrible relationship between quality, quantity and price of what is consumed. Sky-high prices for miserable portions and very low quality. Unfortunately I did not take a photo of the dish (a slice of fruit) which was ridiculous to say the least. Despite the price (about 17 euros if I remember correctly) and aware of the fact that I was in the center of Rome, I did not expect a box of fruit or even the quantity for a baby. Ridiculous. I felt mocked both as a tourist and offended as an Italian. This is why tourists are increasingly migrating abroad.....anyway avoid people, avoid.....

29/07/2025: Roma è necessariamente sinonimo di pizza e pasta, è un imperativo mangiare queste specialità. Un caffè che consiglio a chiunque vada a Piazza Navona. Offre un caloroso benvenuto, un servizio esemplare. La vista della fontana dei quattro fiumi è bellissima, soprattutto al tramonto. Ho mangiato anche una pizza con una pasta spessa e prosciutto, una vera delizia. Per quanto riguarda la pasta alla carbonara, quando il piatto è arrivato, il primo pensiero è stato "così poco? ". Alla fine abbiamo capito perché. Molto poca ma onestamente la pasta migliore che abbia mai mangiato. Per tutti coloro che si trovano qui, Caffè Domiziano è l'ideale.

11/07/2025: How we regretted not reading the reviews before stopping in to eat! I can confirm that the restaurant is extremely dirty. From the outside, you wouldn't think so, but once inside, you can see that the napkins, walls, and chairs are stained with food dating back to the year 1940, and I'm not even talking about the restaurant's only toilet, which is simply abominable. Finally, I can confirm that the welcome is terrible. As for the pizzas, you'll eat much better ones in any French dive...

18/02/2025: siamo stati accolti calorosamente da uno staff educato forse poi un po’ troppo frettoloso a mandarci via. Delusi assolutamente da nulla fino all’arrivo del primo, mi è stato servito un “brodo annacquato di carbonara” invece che gli gnocchi in crema di carbonara che ho scelto sul menu. Fatto presente al cameriere mi è stato detto,(in modo onestissimo), che solitamente (e per fortuna) a nessuno viene servito un piatto del genere.

03/02/2025: Consigliato da amici prenoto e andiamo pensando di mangiare ottima carne ....locale molto carino, di domenica pochi tavoli pieni. antipasti buoni, niente di che. La nota dolente arriva con la Tomahawk (il cameriere ordinando mi dice che sara' di 1.4kg), portata al sangue su pietra lavica a tavola, peccato che era molto dura e stoppacciosa. L'abbiamo fatto presente al cameriere, ma il risultato non e' cambiato. Non lo consiglio, ci sono molti altri ristoranti specializzati in carne a roma dove si mangia molto meglio.... e aggiungo, troppo caro per la qualita' del cibo ricevuto!

17/06/2025: Ironic review: ⭐☆☆☆☆ – “The (too much) milk of life!” I enter the bar convinced that I will have breakfast like a queen: latte and croissant, a classic €3.60 combo. But here's the twist: I naively ask for “with cold milk”, not caviar. And that's where the magic ends. Smile from the barista, button on the recorder and PUM: +€0.70. Seventy cents for the cold milk. Not even if they had milked it live from a Siberian cow. Never, and I repeat never, has this happened in any bar in the known world, real or imaginary. Not even at the airport. Not even in Oslo. At this point I expect that tomorrow the ice in the glass will have a seasonal surcharge. Mystical experience. Will I return? Only if I change jobs and want to open a franchise of “cold milk at a golden weight”.

08/07/2025: The waiters were very agressive and impolite. Drinks were expensive.

07/07/2025: We had lunch at a restaurant on Via da Conciliazone after visiting St. Peter's Basilica. We had pizza and pasta. The food was very good. The staff were friendly and, in the Italian way, a bit rough, and at times, it was almost funny.

29/07/2025: Terrible experience. A male and a female staff who were very rude and angry. They sent us to each other and sighed when we were going to order our sandwiches. We got our sandwiches on a tray we asked for plates. The waiter got very angry and said we should eat from the tray. We spoke to his colleague and he sent him out to calm down. He came back and did not apologize for his behavior.

29/07/2025: I happened to be there twice to go to the auditorium... Sky-high prices... filthy bathrooms. Rude and completely unprofessional staff. The owner (or manager, I don't know who) is always nervous and treats the employees like shit. It seems like they're doing you a favor by serving you, but we're doing you a favor by coming in!!! In short, I understand you don't need to build customer loyalty by being close to St. Peter's... But we're not all tourists... and you don't look good. NOT EVEN DOING THAT.

15/07/2025: Absolutely not recommended. They charged a 20% service fee, 6 euros for a tiny Coca-Cola they claimed was complimentary, and even tried to charge me 4 euros for my own bottle of water. Dishonest and overpriced, avoid this place.

14/07/2025: Being hungry, I was in a bit of a hurry to choose a place for lunch, the previous terrace was so full that I moved to this Vino&Focaccia. There was only one table occupied on the terrace. The lasagna was good. I only had the lasagna and a Heineken beer and the price was 31.20€. The service charge was quite high at 5.20€. Usually I read reviews about a place in advance, but unfortunately I had to go to the place blindly.

16/07/2025: Go away, rude personnel, expensive, they demand you to pay cash and they take tip with no excuse, at least 5€. When you ask why they answer why not? One star is too much.

12/07/2025: Total tourist rip-off. Cappuccino for €5!! The waiter pushed me every time he walked past my chair. Incredibly rude. There was no apology. The tables were so close together that they could maximize profit from the overpriced drinks. Absolutely not recommended!
