04/06/2025: Esperábamos bastante tiempo para sacar una mesa afuera, aunque había dos disponibles: los camareros no las limpiaban ni nos decían nada, así que finalmente tuvimos que sentarnos. También tardaron mucho en tomar nuestro pedido, y tuve que ir a preguntarles de nuevo. El camarero que finalmente nos ayudó fue muy grosero y no dio una explicación clara. Entiendo que están ocupados, pero eso no justifica ser grosero con los clientes.

18/10/2025: The latest reviews confirm my initial thought when the owner told me the total bill! That is, don't buy the product. 8 miniature cannoli and 8 miniature cannoncini cost €26!! The photos speak for themselves. 450g, €26!!! Exactly €52 per kilo!!! The best pastry shops in Italy sell FRESH pastries for €22 to €30 per kilo!! I think they've overpriced the product, or they've simply taken advantage of it!!! I'd appreciate a comment from management on the price of the product. Thanks in advance.

06/10/2025: Transparency first! At the counter, we order two coffees and a croissant. We pay at the register and wait. The lady (perhaps the owner?!) exclaims, "Have a seat, we'll bring it to you." We think it's either a courtesy gesture or a way to reduce the number of standing customers at the counter (we were the only ones at the counter). Later, we notice that, without having said anything beforehand, the lady has added an extra €1 to the receipt as a "service charge." It's not about the extra €1, but rather a matter of transparency towards customers, and in any case, we won't be returning!

30/05/2025: Ambiente poco attraente, servizio da migliorare, ma quello che mi ha colpito è il gelato. Non ho mai mangiato altri gelati a Civitavecchia, ma se questo è il migliore... Non escludo che sia artigianale, ma è alla pari di un buon gelato da supermercato, nulla di più. Prezzo nella media.

04/10/2025: Great location, mediocre food and rude wait staff. Our bill came up to $43 euros and I only had a $50 on me so I gave him the money. As we are leaving the waiter came up to us asked for a bigger tip.

29/08/2025: We ordered 2 pastas for 10 and 14€ (delicious pasta is the only plus in this place) and plain tap water, like all cafes in Italy serve They brought the bill for 34€ He said 5€ for tap water😀 5€ for "service" which is 100% n In short, I do not recommend this place!

31/07/2025: Rotten, not good at all. No flavor, both scoops had the same taste of rancid water. All in all, it's the best ice cream I've ever had, after all the ones I've ever had.

26/07/2025: Don't even think about buying ice cream here. Terrible quality. You'll find chunks of ice and the taste is awful, and on top of that, the owner spoke rudely to us about paying by card. The worst in Rome.

The location is absolutely stunning – you get incredible views that make the whole meal feel extra special, especially if you manage to get a table outside. The service was outstanding from start to finish; the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious – fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Every course felt authentic and well-prepared, and the drinks paired perfectly with the meal. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, relax, and just enjoy the atmosphere. A perfect spot in Rome for a memorable meal – whether you’re here for a special occasion or just to treat yourself, I’d highly recommend it.

16/10/2025: Pizza is pretty good. It's nice to have a drink in the evening with a view of the Pantheon. There's a lot of busking in front of the Pantheon.

16/10/2025: Ignore the beautiful setting this place is trying to SCAM YOU! The older LADY running the place tried to Tell us we had to buy the whole bottle of wine as she could not pour just one glass. She quickly changed her tune after I asked to Look at the menu again. She insisted we paid in cash and wouldn’t take card, (this is illegal in Rome ) they have to accept card. AVOID AVOID AVIOD

03/11/2025: A total disaster! The lady who served the guests knew we wanted coffee. She invited us to a table, brought us a menu, and after about 20 minutes of waiting, the waiter arrived. Upon learning we only wanted coffee, he rudely told us it was impossible because we had to order more than just coffee!!! I'd just like to mention that this place has "CAFFE" in its name! I've been traveling to Italy for years, and this is the first time I've encountered such unfriendly service!

02/11/2025: The food was great, the waiters were helpful. The view and atmosphere were perfect. The only downside is that the restaurant guests are charged for the toilet.

01/11/2025: THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! I booked a table two months in advance for Halloween, they confirmed it and told me to show up at 11 PM. I showed up right on time with my group. Coming from out of town, we left at 9 PM, considering we're a two-hour drive from Rome. They made us wait two hours before we could speak to anyone. At 1 AM, we managed to speak to the PR person outside and the bouncer, who rudely kicked us out, saying they wouldn't let us in. We tried several times to tell them that we had a table booked and that we were from out of town, etc., but they didn't care. The ridiculous thing is that they even acknowledged that we had a table on the dance floor, but neither the PR person nor the bouncer cared. On top of everything, the place is disgusting, it's a dump and poorly organized, and the staff is unpleasant and rude, from what I've been told. Worst night of my life and I strongly advise everyone not to go there.

26/10/2025: I strongly advise against using this place for private events. The organization was poor, starting with the entrance to the room, which was delayed an hour because it wasn't ready at the agreed-upon time. The dinner service was a disaster. The appetizer courses (ham and focaccia) were served late and poorly: at midnight, a first course of ham for 20 people, without focaccia, and half an hour later, the second course and the focaccia with the ham gone. Some tables were eating, while others weren't, because the service was awkward and clumsy. They're supposed to be professionals, but they seemed to be improvising. Furthermore, for the first course, the non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes were brought separately, meaning vegetarians had to watch the people in front of them eat (and finish) their plates. As you can imagine, it was a terrible experience. If you can't guarantee table service, find another solution for your customers, since they theoretically pay professionals dearly. I should add that the music was the same throughout the dinner, with songs playing every 20 minutes, despite the DJ (who only put on headphones for the photographer). Finally, having booked the room for a graduation party until 2:00 PM, one would expect an atmosphere suitable for both post-dinner music and the number of people in attendance, but that wasn't the case. The room needed to be modified to create space: the beanbags we sat on for dinner blocked the aisles between the tables (which were already narrow), making it difficult for us to walk or even move around (it was impossible to dance). I urge the management to improve their service and make it live up to the expectations created, especially for those who come to them to organize a private event. It felt like being in the hands of inexperienced people, and I don't think that's the impression they want to give.

31/07/2025: IT es un lugar realmente deshonesto, engañan a los turistas. Al principio no trajeron lo que pedimos, las porciones eran muy pequeñas, las bebidas eran increíblemente caras, tuvimos que pedir la cuenta un par de veces, y al final tuvimos que pagar en efectivo! ¡Mejor evita este restaurante!

25/07/2025: La comida era terrible. El personal trató de robar mi bolsa de socios después de que nos fuimos. IT fue olvidado y trataron de fingir IT no fue dejado en el restaurante. NO VENGAS AQUÍ.

14/09/2025: They're cheating tourists!!!! Slow to serve and incredibly expensive! Paying €22 for four drinks (one of them water) seems ridiculous to me. Canned Coca-Cola was €5... they charged us much less next to the Trevi Fountain. I'm not giving a lower rating, because there isn't one....

02/11/2025: No customer service. I pay 3.60 at the register for table service. I ask if I should inform the barista. The lady at the register tells me she'll take care of it. She tells a passing waitress, who ignores the request. Meanwhile, the bar fills up with a group at the counter who are served. I complain to the lady at the register. Finally, after a while, the coffees arrive. I asked for a long one and a frothy one. Two regular coffees arrive. No apologies for the wait or for the mistake in the drink. Absolute sloppiness. I will never go to this bar again.

01/11/2025: The view of the lake is beautiful. The food is good. The service is terrible. Don't let the waiter do whatever he wants. There were three of us. He said he'd bring us a mix of side dishes, but he brought us five separate side dishes. Oh well! I asked for a specific type of wine. He brought me another one at a higher price. But the embarrassing thing? When paying, he insisted on a tip three times. Basically, they do whatever they want and then ask for a tip. Absurd. Don't go there.

02/11/2025: We sat down for a drink, ordered a Crodino and a Chinotto, and paid €14. They charged us for two non-alcoholic aperitifs, without bringing us any appetizers as indicated on the menu. There was almost no one there; we pointed this out, so they asked us if we wanted any appetizers, but by then we had already finished our drinks and were leaving. Terrible service and exorbitant prices.
