This restaurant was recommended to my husband and I by family. We visited without a reservation and they were so accommodating. We did have to be out by a certain time due to the next reservation coming in but it was plenty of time to eat. By far the best meal we've had in Italy so far and we are picky! The ragu was so good and the lemon chicken was so tender. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go back!

Sunday 17 March...a family lunch...this place is located in the Rome of memories...those who pass by here have a double privilege of eating and enjoying Rome to the full. I recommend it to those who happen upon it by chance, and especially to those who live in Rome, believe me, carbonara deserves to be eaten, I've never tasted such a good taste...perfect! special and truly rich in flavor flatbread with mortadella, burrata and pistachio from Bronte, exquisite, pappardelle with wild boar sauce top, thick lamb chops with chicory, you have to eat everything because the wind takes the words away, really satisfied with this restaurant in and in Rome. There's no one who beats it💯💯💯💯tooooopcome on guys

This place was terrific. Wonderfully simple, totally unpretentious, with friendly service and great food and wine. The cacio e pepe was tops, and we paired it with a delicious and reasonably priced Arneis. There are tourists (it’s in the Centro after all) but with Italians and Rome-based expats in the mix it retains a low-key local vibe. Update one year later: Was pleased to return to this place and had a generally great meal. The server was very friendly and accommodating of some younger diners. Pastas were very good. The only unhappy moment was when our caprese salad was served with one of the worst tomatoes I’ve ever had. Almost white, very hard, flavorless. We had many excellent tomatoes elsewhere in Rome this week; this one shouldn’t have left the kitchen.

24/03/2024: Ristorante piccolo e molto accogliente. La signora di una gentilezza infinita. Abbiamo mangiato sia un primo che un secondo ed entrambi erano eccellenti sia nella bontà che nella presentazione. Consigli sul vino molto accurati e dolci strepitosi. Consigliatissimo

29/03/2024: Historic pizzeria in the Cinecittà - Don Bosco area, ideal for children with the names of the pizzas based on Disney cartoons and characters
17/03/2024: At Cartoon Pizza you can find the flat Roman pizza with typically crunchy edges, and I finally stumbled upon it for dinner. The place is comfortable, there are numerous posters/paintings of many cartoons and it is located in the Tuscolana district and Cartoon Pizza is very well known and popular here. Last night too, the place was full. And so it happens that in the large room there is a deafening mix of voices, while in the room at the entrance tranquility reigns. I therefore recommend, when booking, to assign yourself a table at the entrance, if you don't like the noise so much. Friendly and helpful staff. Food, at least for us, we found everything very good, the only flaw was the potato croquette (described on the menu as potatoes, egg, mortadella...!) which however remains compact and solid and tasteless, I would say inedible: big disappointment. We then consumed a good tomato bruschetta and the delicious cacio e pepe chips. The two pizzas: a white boscaiola (without spicy salami) and a ciccio (wurst and chips).. good, good. To drink, 2 medium red Nastro Azzurro and a natural (filtered) water. The price is very good, not excessive, 37 euros for two.
