28/09/2025: The dishes they offer are neither numerous nor overly complex: seafood classics that, when properly prepared, are convincing in their simple flavors. La Bricola absolutely rises to the occasion and outperforms all the other seafood restaurants I've tried in the area. The service is particularly attentive to customer service, and generally there's a great deal of attention to detail in the table setting and the dishes.

04/10/2025: My wife and I have eaten at Al Gnotul several times. The place is very quaint and exudes Friulian tradition, culture, and hospitality. We've always had a wonderful time. The owners are very kind in their advice and hospitality. They serve simple Friulian cuisine, prepared with great care and simplicity. 21/09/2025: First time I had dinner I was very satisfied! I was with locals who took me there! Only the bread they bring you 4 different types of water included in the cover charge, a trio of good first courses, super meat, delicious desserts and plenty of them! I recommend it to everyone because it's worth it!

12/10/2025: Top-notch service! Super friendly staff, and we got a seat right away even though it was incredibly busy! The food was delicious - portions could have been a bit larger. The price/performance ratio was absolutely perfect!

02/10/2025: Unfortunately very disappointing, the starter was out, one of the main courses with two different fishes was also out and this in the early evening with very few guests, the size of the main course reminded me of a child's portion, all in all a very disappointing visit.

05/10/2025: Excellent lunch in a rustic and very refined location. Super friendly service. Good Slovenian Collio wine. Superb desserts: birramisu and mascarpone with Bayles, truly amazing. Excellent meat tartare, and first courses too: the spaghetti with shrimp tartare and pecorino cheese were superb. Must try.

12/10/2025: A lively, lively place, where every employee does their job kindly and quickly. From the outside, you can't tell how big the restaurant is inside, with several interior rooms. We only had tiramisu, which was delicious, and they offered limoncello afterwards. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the cuisine, because we came after dinner, but what we saw on the plates was delicious. I don't usually write like this, but if I were invited, I would be happy to give a more specific opinion!

28/09/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The service was quite slow, and the waiters were not particularly attentive to our requests. The food was also disappointing - the portions were small, and the taste left a lot to be desired. The drinks were decent, but not enough to warrant a return visit. I hope this situation improves in the future.

05/10/2025: A rustic yet clean and welcoming place. We go for the meat, which is truly excellent in all the dishes our family tried. The price is more than fair, and the quality/price ratio is unmatched in the city. They say the owner does everything himself. I don't know if there's any help in the kitchen, but he welcomed us and showed us to an open table, took our orders, served us, checked us out, and cashed the bill at the register... And every now and then he'd disappear into the kitchen and reappear a few minutes later. Sometimes you have to wait a while, but that happens in other places where there are a lot of people serving.

09/10/2025: A charming tavern nestled in the greenery of a plain, in the Aonedis hamlet of San Daniele del Friuli. A rustic, well-maintained, and clean location. Dishes, from the cured meats to the very tasty and well-prepared cuisine, to the simple yet fantastic desserts. The owners are kind and courteous, and they give you the attention you deserve. 05/10/2025: A very pleasant surprise, a warm welcome, and fast and accurate service. I ate wonderfully: a plate of prosciutto that melted in my mouth, accompanied by a superb homemade giardiniera, followed by a delicious frico! I definitely think I'll be back.

08/10/2025: It's worth trusting the positive reviews and visiting this place. Here, you can enjoy small sandwiches with various cold cuts (including a delicious giant mortadella!) and a coffee or local wine. Reasonable prices and a charming terrace by the river.

07/10/2025: Canapés with cod, soppressa and cheese, mortadella, ham, and horseradish… out of this world! The atmosphere is very rustic, but it feels like you're entering a place where everyone is friendly. A must-see in Udine!
