08/04/2026: An absolute must for cheese lovers in Fagagna! We visited Latteria Borgo Paludo today and were absolutely thrilled. The selection of local cheeses is outstanding, and the quality is second to none. A particularly nice touch: all the cheeses were expertly vacuum-packed for us, so we can safely transport them home in our campervan's refrigerator. The prices are incredibly reasonable for this artisanal quality. A huge thank you also goes to the exceptionally friendly saleswoman who, despite our limited Italian, went to great lengths to explain the selection to us in detail – we felt very welcome. Bonus tip: Be sure to try the ice cream there – it's highly recommended and a real treat!

10/06/2026: Here is a coffee for you as you read my review ☕️... Tonight we went to this restaurant which recommend to me by an italain local friend. Figured we would give it a shot because my husband and I have never been here before. Let me tell you, this is THE BEST carbonara I have ever had. After living in Italy for 3 years, I have eaten carbonara all over the country, from Aviano all the way to Rome. Tried many kinds and this is THE one. The sauce is thick, creamy (without cream), not curdled, pasta is tender and meat texture is firm and not soft/floppy. Along with the right amount of pepper as well. The atmosphere was calm and quaint, our waiter was kind as well. Addiontally, we have tired several other dishes. Including... Pasta with rosemary and pine Black garlic pasta Wine sauce risotto with sausage. All delicious in their own unique way, however, the carbonara left me yearning for it After I have finished the dish. I already want to go back and I certainty cant wait until I do 💜🇺🇲🇮🇹

03/06/2026: Yesterday, June 2nd, we had lunch at this Osteria and everything was fantastic, starting with the wine... a sparkling Ribolla, then the delicious first courses... tagliatelle with ragù of the day... with duck... and then gnocchi with black truffle and to finish, a delicious ice cream with strawberries and a fantastic sorbet... and a delicious grappa.
