The pizza was really good and surprisingly affordable, but the real highlight was the wonderful signora — super friendly, funny, and full of stories (including her time in New York 😊). We ended up chatting, laughing, and even got a little tour - by the end it felt more like visiting someone than just going to a restaurant. A very warm and authentic experience. 03/07/2026: Last night we had one goal: to escape the heat of Udine and spend a relaxing evening with the family. And we found a little corner of paradise at Plan de Paluz, above Tarcento. Surrounded by greenery, with a pleasant temperature of around 24 degrees, we finally breathed in some fresh air. At one point, they even served a sweater... a marvel on these summer evenings! And then the food... simply spectacular. The picanha was so tender it melted in your mouth, the skewers were exceptional, cooked to perfection. The side dishes were also excellent, and the Fusco La Roncaia red wine rounded out a truly special dinner. Kudos also to the service: attentive, cheerful, and impeccable. The young woman who looked after us was incredibly kind, and Gabriele and his mother Arianna have that rare ability to make you feel welcomed and pampered, just like at home. If you love quality meat and are looking for a place to relax in the cool, away from the summer heat, Plan de Paluz is a stop I recommend without a doubt. You eat very well, you feel divine and you go home wanting to return as soon as possible.

30/06/2026: Relaxing hillside view. We had a plate of frico, served both classic and crispy, both very tasty. A warm mushroom and cheese tart, very flavorful. The gnocchi with game were excellent and plentiful. A mascarpone dessert and two coffees. Total €60. I'd say that's fair, considering everything was excellent and the location was beautiful and romantic! Well done!

07/05/2026: Frankly, I don't think I can give this establishment a positive review (I'm referring to the hotel, not the restaurant, which we didn't use), primarily for two reasons: the room temperature, which consistently hovered above 26-28°C (79-82°F), which despite numerous complaints couldn't be lowered (the excuse "the weather forecast predicts a cold spell, so we turned on the heating") is ridiculous, and the breakfast was the bare minimum. I also acknowledge that the room was always thoroughly cleaned. However, this was too little to justify the price paid.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained, making it feel both comfortable and special at the same time. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared, with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail really stood out, from the cleanliness to the little touches that made the space feel inviting. The restaurant was a highlight on its own. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The menu offered a great balance of local specialties and classic dishes, all beautifully presented and satisfying. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Costantini Ristorante Albergo delivers true hospitality, combining comfort, quality food, and excellent service. It’s the kind of place you leave already thinking about when you can return. A well-deserved 5-star experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
