13/12/2025: A restaurant with very good, high-quality food. We always enjoy going, but tonight was truly disappointing. The waiter was rearranging the tables when, suddenly, he dropped a fork on his shoes, looked around, and put the silverware back on the table. Not content, he came over with the glasses and broke one while setting it down. Instead of changing the placemat, silverware, and napkin, he removed the broken glass with his hands and threw it on the floor, thus touching several dishes already on the table. I was so sorry! I hope this never happens again, and that the owner, always attentive and thoughtful, understands that unfortunately, it's essential to be present as much as possible. We're very sorry.

06/12/2025: We went the first day without knowing the place, since we're from Spain. We liked the pizzas and the service so much that we decided to go back another day. The second day they gave us a free appetizer. I think we went about four or five times, and the last time they gave us a free Aperol Spritz. The food, service, and the place itself were all top-notch, and I wish I could give it a higher rating. The two guys who worked there were really nice. The desserts were also very good; the pistachio tart and tiramisu were delicious. The prices were reasonable and normal, not expensive at all.

10/12/2025: The girls are great. The atmosphere is a bit noisy but cheerful. Peak time is between 6 and 8 PM.

06/12/2025: Rustic atmosphere with beautiful wooden details. The bar counter is at the entrance, while the dining room is at the back. In warmer weather, you can dine outside. All the dishes were delicious, and the service was extremely friendly, attentive, and fast. We particularly enjoyed the delicious first courses. Highly recommended.

03/12/2025: My compliments to the entire staff! Thanks to you, my dad and I were able to experience a perfect father-and-son evening. The tagliolini were sublime, as were the mixed antipasto and chocolate cake. All this in a truly peaceful oasis, extremely welcoming, and with incredibly kind staff. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who wants to enjoy the food and wine of San Daniele del Friuli! Highly recommended!

22/11/2025: I had dinner with my wife when the restaurant opened. The food was excellent, although the prices were occasionally inflated and the titles misleading, or in my experience, didn't reflect what was actually served. We ordered a mixed appetizer for two, which included 2 artichoke quarters in oil, 100g of prosciutto, 2 dried tomatoes in oil, 4 olives, 2 mozzarella braids, a slice of bell pepper cut in half in vinegar, 2 pieces of fresh cheese, and 3/4 pickled onions. We don't think it was worth the €22 price tag. The prosciutto was exceptional, but the appetizer was a mix of anonymous ingredients and those of perceived good quality. No complaints about the first courses, which were good and reasonably priced. I'd return for those. I had an unpleasant surprise for dessert. The menu listed artisanal fiordilatte ice cream with a warm berry cream. I received two small scoops with a topping that looked and tasted industrial, cold, and made of berries (I assume the same as the panna cotta). There was no hint or hint of fruit. This "joke" cost me €7, which I honestly find excessive, both for the quantity and for the fact that a seemingly industrial, cold product was used in a dessert passed off as entirely homemade. My companion, on the other hand, had a chocolate cake, which, despite the slightly inflated price, more than justified its price. It pleasantly surprised us. The service was attentive and competent, but with one small oversight that left me perplexed: When I asked for more bread, I was brought a basket much smaller than the first, with cold, stale bread, when the first basket was actually warm, fresh, and plentiful. These are small details, but they send clear messages to discerning customers. Finally, I'd like to mention that reception was a bit annoyed when they announced we didn't have a reservation. I understand the convenience of making a reservation given the limited space, but the lack of one doesn't justify such dismissive behavior. If this can't be avoided, it's better to change the service and make it reservation-only.

02/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'd give it many more stars if it were possible! Original and never boring dishes, carefully selected ingredients, and a top-notch tasting menu. A restaurant that clearly stands out among Lignagna restaurants, thanks to the preparation and attention to detail that shines through in every detail. Impeccable service and an excellent wine list. Highly recommended!

28/09/2025: Dinner in September, without the August crowds. Relaxing atmosphere, close to the promenade, spacious and stylishly furnished without being overbearing. Tasting menu with fish or meat, or à la carte. I opted for the latter. Entree: mini bao with creamed sea bass. Good. Appetizer: fried sardines with panko. Excellently fried, but too thin and therefore lacking in flavor. Main course: dry-aged fish (amberjack) with vegetables and a sauce. Excellent in flavor and pairing. Truly excellent. Dessert: cinnamon ice cream on crumble, delicious in flavor, texture, and intensity. Wines (all from Friuli) excellent. Special mention for the homemade bread and focaccia, Trieste olive oil, balsamic vinegar from Midolini, and vinegar from Subida. A wonderful discovery in a place like Lignano, no less...
