Beautiful, classic restaurant with exposed stone columns and a wooden ceiling.
The menu is truly extensive, but you can't come to San Daniele without an appetizer (at least 100g per person) of prosciutto crudo. We paired it with Montasio cheese and stracciatella. The stracciatella was so good (delicious) that we ordered a warm crostini with prosciutto, stracciatella, and caramelized black fig. This was also delicious. An exceptional combination of flavors! The desserts are also excellent!

Good morning, we went for lunch on a Sunday in July, strolling through the center of San Daniele.
A unique, intimate, and equally welcoming place. We ordered a 200g plate of prosciutto, and their tagliolini and bavette with stracciatella and eggplant were excellent!
We paid a fair price for the attentive, friendly service. The place was clean.

EXCELLENT. Everything was excellent, the place is small, intimate, and cozy, with a homey yet very pleasant atmosphere. It feels like having lunch with family at home.
The staff is friendly, discreet, yet attentive.
The dishes are top-quality, from start to finish, tasty, and full of flavor.
I can't wait to return.

A choice beyond our expectations after reading some already excellent reviews. This beautiful restaurant is a bit hidden on a street in the center of San Daniele, but that gives it an extra touch! For lunch with a friend, we sat at the very comfortable and shaded outdoor tables; the inside dining room is truly charming and welcoming. After perusing the extensive and by no means predictable menu, we ordered prosciutto and stracciatella to share, both very good and of high quality. Followed by tagliolini with San Daniele cheese and polenta and frico: everything was to our liking. The glasses of Friulian white wine and the prosecco were excellent and fresh. The service was friendly, helpful, and well-timed. Highly recommended!!! Thank you for the pleasant experience 🤗
