19/07/2025: Sono stato più volte “Alla Trota” dal 2023 a oggi, rimanendo sempre felice della scelta. Un ristorante a conduzione familiare che incarna l’anima conviviale friulana - basta un bel “mandi” come parola d’ordine all’entrata - che accoglie anche un “foresto” come me. La cornice del torrente Cornappo fa da sfondo a spazi accoglienti, lasciando sempre spazio anche nei giorni di pieno. I prodotti sono davvero saporiti e cucinati con sapienza, la cucina varia le proposte su base stagionale e con giornate a tema. Il chilometro zero ( e direi metro in questo caso) é rappresentato dal prodotto della “casa”, le trote allevate in loco nelle vasche alimentate dalle freschissime acque del torrente. Sempre di casa é il vino, e anche qui i friulani non deludono mai. Nel menù ci sono anche proposte per vegetariani e - assurdo! - senza latte e derivati. Qua ho mangiato tra i salumi più buoni che abbia mai assaggiato. Renzo - il proprietario - e la sua famiglia (nimissini da sempre) ti accolgono con cortesia e amicizia. Stupisce il prezzo del conto e le porzioni, in controtendenza rispetto all’andazzo generale della ristorazione attuale. Se capriate a Nimis un salto qui é d’obbligo; se non ci capitate…andateci! Mandi!

12/07/2025: Posto stupendo, atmosfera accogliente e romantica. La presenza delle vasche di trote la rende il posto unico e suggestivo. Servizio impeccabile, personale gentile e disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Abbiamo iniziato con un tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi davvero abbondante e di qualità, perfetto per aprire il pasto. La fantasia di trota è qualcosa di davvero originale, con sapori ben bilanciati e tanta cura nella preparazione. Anche i secondi ci hanno conquistati: tagliata di manzo morbidissima e trota alla griglia cotta alla perfezione.

16/07/2025: Abbiamo ordinato due piatti di tagliata di manzo con verdure, ma purtroppo entrambe le portate non erano all’altezza: sia l’odore che il sapore lasciavano intendere che la carne non fosse fresca, al punto che non siamo riusciti a finirle. Non avevamo prenotato, ma non crediamo che questo possa giustificare la scarsa qualità. Un vero peccato, perché in passato ci siamo sempre trovati bene, ma dopo questa esperienza dubitiamo di tornare.

10/04/2025: Deludente, dopo un ora è mezza di attesa ci hanno servito la tagliata e la grigliata mista ( piatti da noi scelti) completamente freddi ...a dir poco immaginabile ...per non parlare delle verdure cotte: aspetto orribile ,neanche assaggiate. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno il servizio completamente assente i camerieri balzavano da un tavolo all'altro.

06/10/2024: We arrived at this restaurant a little "desperate" because the two restaurants nearby that we wanted to try were full and having a hungry little child there was no time to look elsewhere. The waitress who welcomed us was very kind but, unfortunately, this alone cannot make up for the rest of the evening. At the table we were not given a menu but it was read to us by the waitress which, in my opinion, causes more than one problem 1. I can't take a few minutes to calmly choose what to have, having a clear idea of ​​what the menu includes, without having to ask the waitress several times "wait, what was the second first course you said?" 2. I have no visibility of the prices of the dishes I am ordering and I find this very incorrect 3. if you also add that the waitress is foreign, the result is that you are also embarrassed to say to her "as an excuse? What did you say?" more than twice, so you give up on understanding half the menu and then go home wondering "but what were the tagliatelle with chicken in the end?". Having overcome this initial obstacle we ordered and what arrived were some tagliolini with San Daniele (with what looked like cream) which were very dry, a frico with polenta which looked more like a piece of melted cheese, some chips which were certainly fried in still cold oil, so they just tasted of oil, and the entrana with potatoes, described as a succulent cut that can be eaten with the preferred cooking method (which in my case is rare) and instead two whole slices of meat arrived at the table on top of the valerian salad which gave a lot the idea of ​​two shoe soles thrown on top of the salad, with the cooking decidedly NOT rare. It must be said that there was nothing left on the plates because we were hungry, so I'm not saying that everything was inedible. I also don't like it when at the end of the evening the waitress asks "did you eat well? Was the meat good?" answer "NO" because in any case there are people who work behind it, who may have had a bad day etc and in the heat of the moment I may not be so diplomatic, so I prefer to say that everything went well, pay the bill and leave knowing that I will never set foot again in that restaurant... This is why I don't really like to review a place negatively, I prefer to review things that have particularly impressed me in a positive way.. But in this case I decided to leave a review because, in addition to everything that went wrong, I discovered (only after the receipt was issued) that I had paid 22 euros for those two shoe soles and it particularly annoyed me! Looking back we could guess how the evening would go from the fact that the restaurants around were full and this one only had our table occupied...

06/07/2025: Posto molto bello, sia all'esterno sia all'interno. Cibo davvero delizioso, dall'antipasto (prosciutto crudo favoloso) ai primi e secondi semplici ma di qualità. La pasta fonduta di parmigiano e salsiccia era semplicemente squisita. Come secondo consiglio brasato e guanciette. Personale attento, preparato, gentile e accogliente. In particolare il ragazzo che ci ha servito è stato molto cordiale e per la giovane età anche molto pronto e preparato. Prezzo molto buono per una cena assolutamente da rifare. Peccato che pioveva altrimenti ci sarebbe piaciuto stare anche fuori. Esperienza top!

23/06/2025: Piacevole sorpresa, rintracciato per caso abbiamo voluto provare e ne siamo stati entusiasti. Posto molto piacevole,con bel giardino ombreggiato ben curato e parte interna accogliente. In 3 persone abbiamo mangiato 3 tipologie di pasta differenti, tutte molto buone e porzioni abbondanti. Abbiamo inoltre assaggiato un secondo, guancette di maiale delicatissime e gustose,consigliate. Il tutto con ottimo vino e personale cortese e disponibile. Torneremo certamente, nonostante la distanza che ci separa.
