31/05/2026: So, we're still sitting in the restaurant…so all the impressions are still fresh in our minds. Actually, at least six stars would do the experience justice…and it would become our go-to spot for special moments if it were closer. As it is, we simply have to enjoy the evening and cherish the experience! To sum it up: The service was very attentive, personal, and quick! We felt comfortable from the very first moment. The food was perfect, and many of the little touches were simply brilliant (e.g., the pizza bread slices at the beginning, the pastries with olives baked inside, the little cookies with the perfect espresso!). Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!

16/05/2026: Delicious food, great and friendly service, and all in all a fantastic place. The prices are very fair and the food tastes amazing (I highly recommend the lasagna). Pizza is only available in the evening.

05/07/2026: I was here this evening with my family before taking the train back to Tarvisio. The lady at the counter is very kind and smiling. The place is informal with tables outside and inside as well. Huge pizzas. A selection of drinks and reasonable prices. A great way to end a beautiful day of cycling on the Alpe Adria cycle path from Tarvisio to Venzone... And anyway, "ar cavaliere nero Nun je devi da rompe Er ca...."

11/05/2026: A restaurant surrounded by greenery, just 5 minutes from Tolmezzo. It's a wonderful place for kids to play. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and everything is absolutely delicious... So far, it's the best in Carnia for me.

11/05/2026: Although I've been frequenting these places for many years, I'd never noticed this little corner of paradise. The location is just off the main road, and a paved road leads to a valley surrounded by the local mountains, a lush natural setting that offers peace and serenity. The first thing you notice is the vast, well-kept lawn, with the grass cut to welcome guests in the best possible way, where those who wish can stop and rest after lunch in complete tranquility. The modern, well-maintained restaurant, both inside and out, offers plenty of seating (reservations recommended), both inside and out. The menu features Friulian cuisine, seafood, and seasonal dishes, with a moderate selection, undoubtedly to maintain their quality. The dishes are beautifully presented and well-presented, with great attention to detail, and the portions are generous considering the price. The staff is courteous and available to accommodate guests' requests. I'll start by saying that on busy days, you'll need to be patient to eat. The pasta is homemade; for green reasons, they use microfiltered water at fair prices (0.75 liters for €1.50) and local produce. In conclusion, the food is good, the price is right, it's a peaceful experience, and there's a cool breeze in the summer.

20/05/2026: A lovely Italian restaurant. The menu offers a huge selection of different pizzas, as well as pasta and desserts. The pizza comes fresh from the wood-fired oven and is highly recommended. Top quality food at very reasonable prices. The friendliness of the staff is also worth mentioning. Reservations are advisable, as it can get very busy at certain times. Card payments are accepted, and there is ample parking in the courtyard. We will definitely be back.

10/06/2026: I discovered this place thanks to Google, and the food and wine are really good. Menus are available in English and German, but we were only dining with locals. The tiramisu was fantastic, especially considering how picky I am about that. I would definitely eat here again. We had sea bass and tuna as our main courses.

29/03/2026: Update – we've been there several times now –: the menu is concise and refined! The cuisine is excellent. Every dish is cooked to perfection! There are no weaknesses. The wines are top-notch. The service, in particular, is perfect. Attentive and courteous! The tables, glasses, and plates are also high-quality and perfectly complement everything. I like that the restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere. It offers both bar and dining service. It's one of the best restaurants in the region. New management! The food is sometimes very good and sometimes experimental... there's still room for improvement in the combination of dishes... the wine list is excellent... the service is attentive but not always available when needed. Prices have increased significantly compared to the previous owner... I think the restaurant has a bright future because it's just a few small things that need improvement!

10/07/2026: We visited this restaurant last night, having booked a table for seven at 7:30 PM through their online system. Unfortunately, the experience was decidedly negative from the start. When we arrived, the reservation was missing and the table wasn't ready; it was immediately apparent that the online reservation system isn't working as it should. The setting is truly beautiful, well-kept, and atmospheric, but unfortunately, the service was completely inadequate. The staff seemed disorganized, poorly trained, and, in some respects, downright unfriendly. Chaos reigned throughout the meal: dishes were brought to us at random, and several orders were forgotten. This disorganization didn't just affect us: the atmosphere in the dining room was tense, so much so that a customer sitting behind us complained vehemently, even yelling at the owner for the poor service. A real shame, because the location is truly worthy, but the management of the staff and the dining room service needs a complete overhaul. We won't be returning.

05/07/2026: Total disorganization and unacceptable customer service. A family dinner at 8:30 PM turned into a frustrating experience from start to finish. We had specifically requested an appetizer platter first, followed by appetizers. This request was ignored, and everything was served together in a chaotic fashion. After over an hour and a half of waiting and repeated reminders, the hot dishes arrived at 10:10 PM. One of the appetizers was cold, and in my case, the first and second courses were served at the same time. When the issue was reported, the dishes were taken away without any real response. The manager simply said dinner would be offered, but without clarifying whether the dishes would be remade. Only vague answers and no concrete solution. To make matters worse, we felt pressured to vacate the table and leave. A discounted bill does not justify confusing, superficial service, incapable of addressing its own mistakes. A terrible experience. We won't be returning.
