They were exquisitely delicious, and the cherry jam was truly fantastic. Excellent value for money (generous portions at a reasonable price). We'll be back!

21/10/2025: We've been eating at this Indian restaurant for several years, even with friends who've been to India, who say the food tastes just as good as it does in the country itself. It's never disappointed us, and every time we go, we can't wait to return.

18/10/2025: The food is quite good and the prices seem low at first glance, but the portions are even smaller than "mini." You can't believe your eyes when they're served to you. It's basically a disgrace. Never again.

16/11/2025: The view from the restaurant is stunning, the dishes are excellent, and the combinations are sophisticated and anything but banal. The service is attentive, fast, and helpful. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I appreciated that allergens were clearly indicated for each dish on the menu. Furthermore, although not indicated, there is also a gluten-free dessert option available upon request. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing lunch while taking in the views of the Collio and savoring excellent dishes at a price commensurate with the quality of the cuisine. I'd also like to point out that this restaurant is suitable for those with celiac disease, as the menu offers a variety of options, especially for main courses, but also for appetizers; choosing the first course is more difficult.

10/11/2025: Osteria Baldovino offers a high-end dining experience, with an excellent wine list featuring a wide selection of select labels that perfectly complement the cuisine. The dishes are carefully crafted, prepared with quality ingredients, and tastefully presented: a perfect blend of tradition and creativity. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, ideal for those seeking a dinner of good food and fine wine. The only room for improvement is the service, which could be more attentive and coordinated to fully reflect the high standards of the cuisine and wine cellar. Overall, a restaurant definitely worth a visit and sure to leave you wanting to return.

24/11/2025: A courteous but never intrusive hospitality greeted us at this family-run restaurant, where Sicilian cuisine is at its finest. Traditional dishes prepared with pride and skill in a clean and welcoming setting. The two of us shared an appetizer featuring arancini, pumpkin, and speck, accompanied by farinata, olives, cheese, and much more. Then a mussels with pepper and tomato sauce and linguine with mussels truly delighted and filled us up. Despite being full, we couldn't resist treating ourselves to a mini Sicilian cannoli each. I must reluctantly admit, knowing how delicious their cannoli are, that this was the only size we could have eaten. The fact that they were able to buy fruit and vegetables of undisputed quality in their adjacent shop is the added bonus that earns them five stars with honors. What can I say...it's a shame they're not very close to our house! Maybe things will change in the future… who knows…

18/09/2025: We went to Torate twice during our vacation in Carnia. Once, we ate delicious frico and polenta. The Sacher torte was a bit dry. The second time, we had pizza, and I have to say it was truly delicious. The service was impeccable, the waiters were very kind, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. RECOMMENDED.

12/11/2025: I'm in Fagagna for work, and my bible "Osterie d'Italia" (2016) recommends "Da Fenile," praising its authentic cuisine with local products. Of course, I test the reliability of the guide and the trattoria. I must admit that reality is better than theory. Honest and authentic hospitality. Cleanliness and simplicity in this trattoria, bar, and tobacconist in an isolated hamlet of San Daniele del Friuli. But above all, THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD. Besides the classic San Daniele (really good), I enjoyed the excellent homemade giardiniera and the gnocchetti as a first course. But above all, the stuffed duck was almost better than the one my mom made. To finish, a bit of Moltrasio with polenta, a good house wine, and I left feeling really happy (as well as full). Thanks to the young waitress (so energetic and helpful) and to the fabulous owner, with whom we had a pleasant chat. P.S. The price is absolutely fair. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

19/09/2025: Our favorite neighbourhood pizzeria! Located in Silvella (UD), this modest hole-in-the-wall pizzeria is one of the best pizzerias in Friuli Venezia Giulia! We always order their “GIRO PIZZA” (“Pizza Tour”)— this unique offer allows diners to select different pizza flavors/combinations of their choice from Ambaradan’s Special/Gourmet Pizza Menù. Ambaradan offers the most unique pizza combinations with the freshest ingredients often at 0 km. Reservations are not required but I recommend booking in advance!

07/09/2025: We stopped by on our bike tour. We arrived early and had the chance to hear the chef introduce us to his special pizzas. The expert spoke enthusiastically about his new creations. So, here you'll find both standard and very special, often local, combinations. Very good pizzas, explained with great respect. That was a nice surprise! From the outside, the pizzeria looks more like a takeaway pizzeria. Of course, it's completely different inside. The neighborhood knows this place well, so it's best to arrive early!

04/10/2025: My wife and I have eaten at Al Gnotul several times. The place is very quaint and exudes Friulian tradition, culture, and hospitality. We've always had a wonderful time. The owners are very kind in their advice and hospitality. They serve simple Friulian cuisine, prepared with great care and simplicity. 21/09/2025: First time I had dinner I was very satisfied! I was with locals who took me there! Only the bread they bring you 4 different types of water included in the cover charge, a trio of good first courses, super meat, delicious desserts and plenty of them! I recommend it to everyone because it's worth it!
