The location is just off the main road, and a paved road leads to a valley surrounded by the local mountains, a lush natural setting that offers peace and serenity. The first thing you notice is the vast, well-kept lawn, with the grass cut to welcome guests in the best possible way, where those who wish can stop and rest after lunch in complete tranquility. The modern, well-maintained restaurant, both inside and out, offers plenty of seating (reservations recommended), both inside and out. The menu features Friulian cuisine, seafood, and seasonal dishes, with a moderate selection, undoubtedly to maintain their quality. The dishes are beautifully presented and well-presented, with great attention to detail, and the portions are generous considering the price. The staff is courteous and available to accommodate guests' requests. I'll start by saying that on busy days, you'll need to be patient to eat. The pasta is homemade; for green reasons, they use microfiltered water at fair prices (0.75 liters for €1.50) and local produce. In conclusion, the food is good, the price is right, it's a peaceful experience, and there's a cool breeze in the summer.

13/05/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat at the Darsena. If you want to eat refined, high-quality food, you're in the right place. The staff is top-notch and very knowledgeable, the wine list is truly extensive, and you can also taste delicacies from Friuli, but not only that. I highly recommend coming at least once in your life to be tickled by such deliciousness, plus the superb view of the inner marina with yachts.

Very good, in fact, above average. ​The Crunch Anomaly: Fried food is often a mystery in these pubs, but here the crispiness on the outside is incredible. The special thing (the anomaly I always look for) is that, despite the fried food, the chicken inside remained juicy and flavorful. That's not something you'll ever expect. ​Total Satisfaction: It's a complete sandwich. 29/03/2026: Update – we've been there several times now –: the menu is concise and refined! The cuisine is excellent. Every dish is cooked to perfection! There are no weaknesses. The wines are top-notch. The service, in particular, is perfect. Attentive and courteous! The tables, glasses, and plates are also high-quality and perfectly complement everything. I like that the restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere. It offers both bar and dining service. It's one of the best restaurants in the region. New management! The food is sometimes very good and sometimes experimental... there's still room for improvement in the combination of dishes... the wine list is excellent... the service is attentive but not always available when needed. Prices have increased significantly compared to the previous owner... I think the restaurant has a bright future because it's just a few small things that need improvement!

09/10/2025: I searched Google for an artisanal ice cream shop. After a disappointing lunch in Lignano, I wanted an ice cream. I went to this ice cream shop with a friend from the Marche region. I'll start by saying I'm Sicilian. I immediately noticed the professionalism and hospitality of the sales staff. We ordered two cups with three scoops of ice cream each. I was thrilled. To say it was good would be an understatement. Superlative, that's my opinion. Thanks to the owners and all the staff. I recommend it.

02/04/2026: Regular customers at this pizzeria for years, last night we ordered four takeout pizzas as usual. We specifically asked if it was possible to have a baby pizza for a child and were told yes; otherwise, we would have easily chosen another option without any problem. Once we got home, my pizza contained an ingredient I'd asked to be removed (as has happened many times before, but which we've always overlooked), and the child's pizza was prepared in a regular size and charged full price. When I called to report the situation, the response was unprofessional and arrogant. I was told that mistakes happen (but shouldn't happen so often) and that nothing would change for the baby pizza. When I offered a future discount, since I couldn't return to pick up just one pizza and considering we're regular customers, the lady on the phone replied, "First of all, you don't decide anything," and then ended the call with a "good evening" while I was still talking. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what makes the difference is the way you handle the customer, especially when it comes to (now ex-) regular customers.
