If you are looking for a place to grab a drink on the go or settle in for laughs with friends, this osteria is the perfect spot. It has a fantastic, lively atmosphere right in the heart of Udine. Even though English isn't widely spoken here, the service was impeccable. The staff are incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and ready to help regardless of the language barrier. We had 1.2L of the house Friulano white wine and 11 different "tartine" (bread pieces topped with salami, mortadella, cheese, etc.). The total was €42, a very reasonable price for such a great experience in the center of town. Make sure to pay them a visit!

This quaint tavern is always a pleasant place to stop for an aperitif, when you find a table because it's very popular, and to enjoy a crostini with the famous mortadella.

A proper osteria in the center of Udine. Simplicity, quality, and typical Friulian courtesy: excellent canapés at fair prices, sublime mortadella, excellent wines (even the affordable ones). It's impossible not to return.

The atmosphere is surreal... It feels like I've gone back 50 years, when I ate well in taverns and spent a fair amount. The host and waiters are hilarious and kind, and you can try the legendary 200-kg mortadella.
