05/05/2026: Excellent property, very close to the historic center of Cividale del Friuli, with special attention to guests arriving in town with bicycles, as it features a ground-floor room with a bike rack and outlets for e-bike chargers. The rooms are elegant and impeccably clean, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, with excellent quality products, including homemade cakes. Highly recommended.

Excellent traditional Sicilian dishes, plus a gluten-free menu designed for celiacs, offering a variety of appetizers, first courses, second courses, and even dessert (cannoli, granitas). The dishes were generous and incredibly tasty. Everything was truly delicious. We'll definitely be back!

21/04/2026: Sublime pizzas; we often set off from Cividale (via Borgo Brossana) and walk through the countryside to Sanguarzo to enjoy those pizzas. The ingredients Vincenzo uses are the best. For example, I've never found black olives like those in other pizzerias.

29/03/2026: We stopped for lunch after a walk and were amazed by the beautiful location of the place where we could eat. The dishes are very good. Obviously, quality comes at a price, but in this case the prices are in line with the quality. Another plus is that you can bring your dog, although we ate outside because there was no seating inside. A positive experience.

Those who know me know that I'm not easily satisfied and that I like to analyze each place to uncover its main anomalies. Well, this time the surprise was entirely positive. ​Dish Analysis: Fried Chicken Sandwich ​Since it was my first time here, the fried chicken sandwich was my test. Verdict? Very good, in fact, above average. ​The Crunch Anomaly: Fried food is often a mystery in these pubs, but here the crispiness on the outside is incredible. The special thing (the anomaly I always look for) is that, despite the fried food, the chicken inside remained juicy and flavorful. That's not something you'll ever expect. ​Total Satisfaction: It's a complete sandwich. It's not the usual bland fare that leaves you with a pit in your stomach: here, there's substance, there's structure, and every bite gives you the satisfaction you seek in a well-made treat. ​The Atmosphere and Service ​The place has that authentic pub feel that I like: no frills and lots of practicality. The staff is smart and fast, which makes the experience even more enjoyable, especially when you enter a new place and want to immediately understand what they're made of. ​The Final Verdict ​Finding a place like this by chance was a stroke of luck. Happy Days passes the test the first time with excellent marks. It's the ideal choice for those seeking quality and quantity in a relaxed atmosphere. If you're in Cividale and want a sandwich that really does its job, this is the place. ​My advice: Don't be fooled by the simple appearance. Go straight for the fried chicken sandwich: it's the positive anomaly that will have you coming back a second time.

03/06/2026: The staff were extremely kind and attentive: our dog was welcomed with great hospitality and friendliness, a detail we truly appreciated. We chose this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were very satisfied. The dishes were excellent, as was the wine; the appetizer we shared was especially delicious. The caponata and panelle were so good we almost regretted sharing them! The desserts also deserve a special mention: truly excellent. The olive oil was very good. We dined in the outdoor courtyard, a pleasant and refined atmosphere, and the place overall is very welcoming. The only small complaint concerns the vegetarian and vegan options, which could be expanded: at the moment, the completely vegetarian or vegan options are quite limited, especially for those who don't want to choose a first course. However, this doesn't detract from the quality of the cuisine or the overall excellent experience. We will definitely return soon, perhaps with some friends, to try the first courses as well.

02/06/2026: Exceptional experience. I went there for lunch with my partner. We shared a starter that included caponata, olives, ricotta with pistachios, fried bread, and chickpea croquettes. Then there was pasta with shrimp, tuna slices, mille-feuille with cream and strawberries, and a cannoli. Everything was perfect. I couldn't find a single flaw. Even the olives in the starter were excellent, soft and flavorful. The only thing that was a bit off was that our table was outside in the courtyard, next to a wall with potted plants and soil. I saw a few ants crawling around on the table. I think it was just a flaw with our table; it would have been enough to move it 20 cm away from the wall instead of having it attached to the wall. The bill was a bit high compared to other restaurants I've tried in the region, but considering the deliciousness of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients, I find it reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

15/06/2026: My wife and I went there last night. We had excellent pasta; I had venison sauce, while my wife had pasta with clams. Generous portions, friendly and welcoming staff. The place is cute, a little retro, just the way we like it (but what's on the plate is what matters!). We were also inspired by the pizza, which looked delicious, but maybe next time. EXCELLENT!

10/06/2026: Very good quality/price ratio. A variety of dishes: starters like lasagna with ragù, asparagus, radicchio, and sausage. Second courses include tagliata, frico, herb omelette, and much more.

03/05/2026: Beautiful small family restaurant on top of a hill above the vineyards. There is enough parking space in the shade for all guests, the choice of dishes is not large, but everything is homemade and delicious. It is worth the trip to the restaurant.

15/04/2026: For the Harlem Globetrotters game at PalaGesteco, we decided to grab a quick bite and found this place, which already had good reviews. To be safe, we booked a table, which was a good thing, as it's limited and almost full. The place is located just a few dozen meters from the Duomo and the Ponte del Diavolo, at the beginning of the ZTL (limited traffic zone), so watch out for any restrictions! Google Maps doesn't show them! The place has parking right out front, but it can be difficult to find a spot. It's well-kept, and the owner is a Ferrari fan, a friendly guy with a smile always ready. We ordered sandwiches (I tried a really BIG one, 20cm in diameter!), but we saw other things that were definitely worth trying, like the Moroccan lentils! I have to come back to try these dishes, which piqued my curiosity. Anyway, I stand by my previous review: it's definitely not what many people call a kebab shop! Better and more complete, with even XXL plates for those who want to stuff themselves. We were really satisfied.

31/03/2026: The best kebab in Cividale and the surrounding area! A wide selection of dishes to choose from, all delicious and special! The piadina deserves special mention for the kebab: homemade dough, rolled out and cooked to order, truly deserves praise! The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, always smiling! Don't underestimate the Moroccan lentils: a warm and comforting dish, a one-way ticket to Morocco! The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, with beautiful soft lighting and themed decor. The beautiful paintings, banners, toy cars, and Ferrari photographs bring a touch of Italian style that blends perfectly with the Moroccan style! Highly recommended!!
