22/01/2024: I should write 2 or 3 separate reviews, depending on whether I have to review the food, or the venue or the service... the place is nice, even welcoming, the room with the exposed brazier is a plus. the food is really good, and the prices are great. I would have given it a 4.5 / 5. the flaw, very, very serious, and truly unacceptable, is the repeated swearing in a very loud voice by the (I presume) owner and chef, both in the kitchen - where unfortunately the reproaches very well came from to the staff, swearing and outbursts, and (even more serious) swearing while passing through the room (which he must pass through to go to the counter or to the warehouse, having seen him arrive with a still closed sausage). must have had a bad day, but we felt extremely uncomfortable having to eat in the presence of this person, we almost felt like we were annoying, and let's not talk about the two customers who arrived immediately after us, due to the question of a table for two, which room was in which to seat them... we ate very quickly, without fully enjoying the truly excellent food, without wanting to wait a minute longer for coffee, or a dessert... think about it for a moment, the manager or owner, I want to say that the memory that remains with us is this, and if I were to return to Venzone, I certainly wouldn't want to go back

19/03/2024: Lots of good stuff. Cheeses and cured meats also vacuum-packed. Typical products. The ice cream is also worth it. Excellent stop to stock up on good food.

03/03/2024: We often stop to get ice cream and it is always delicious, it's a shame for the staff who are very, very slow in serving and therefore always create a queue and you have to wait a long time... otherwise everything is ok

03/04/2024: THE REVIEW ONLY CONCERNS THE PIZZERIA AND RESTAURANT PART!!! Local with excellent location, as it is on the state road in the municipality of Venzone (UD). Ample parking and very well lit both outside and inside. You are immediately welcomed in a "familiar" way, the staff immediately makes you feel at ease as if you were one of the family! Large and very well-ordered room, very clean, above all you notice the large space between the tables... Well done! Short waiting times I would say (even if there were few people in the room given the late evening time). I give 4 stars, because THE PIZZA IS STANDARD (NOT REAL) but mainly because, RELUCKINGLY, I SAW THE MORTADELLA COOKED IN THE OVEN (PIZZA MORTADELLA), WHICH MAKES THE PIZZA BECOME SALTY (BECAUSE THE COOKED MORTADELLA REMOVES ALL THE FAT) AND ONCE AFTER HALF A PIZZA, YOU CAN NO LONGER EAT IT, Besides being expensive (10 euros) given that it is not a "special" dough with a high edge (true style)! I RECOMMEND PUTTING ON THE MORTADELLA AT THE END OF COOKING, AND ACCOMPANYING IT WITH SOME BURRATA! For the rest I recommend it! With I will return but, not for pizza, probably fish (given the advice of acquaintances).

03/04/2024: We have been here a few times on a bike tour on the way to Carinthia. The location is convenient, if not particularly pretty. The staff is friendly, the rooms are good, although not too big. Not a hotel for a longer vacation, but great for an overnight stay. The restaurant is very good. Good quality and fair prices. Bicycles can be stored safely in the locked underground car park (and can also be charged there if necessary).

12/03/2024: By chance, on the way back from Austria, I found this restaurant, had a wonderful meal, attentive and kind staff. To be recommended.

30/12/2023: Superlative! My favorite breakfasts in Venzone, the artisanal cakes are fantastic!

12/11/2023: Stop during the visit to Venzone to taste a very dense and very good chocolate. There were many tempting desserts available, probably homemade. The slightly retro environment goes well with the ancient village.

22/03/2024: I'm sorry, I wouldn't recommend this place! Reasons: not so friendly, sometimes disrespectful (rolling eyes), no special requests (eating pre-prepared, not fresh) and so on. I'm sorry.
