19/01/2026: We visited this place based on Google reviews, but we were sorely disappointed. The pizza was terrible, far removed from true Italian pizza. The gnocchi quattro formaggi was a complete disaster… overcooked potato dumplings with a bland sauce (possibly made from powder). The cuisine has nothing in common with Italian cuisine. Not to mention the restroom, where it's probably better to sit down these days than crouch over a hole in the floor. The service was okay, and the atmosphere was okay too. Two stars for the good Aperol.

They range from classic pizzas at normal prices to more specialty options at slightly higher prices. A wide variety, however. The idea of ​​the DOC calzone (half pizza, half calzone) is a nice one. The dough is light and easy to digest, with generous toppings! You can tell they use quality ingredients.

An experience that never disappoints in terms of taste and the fullness of the generous and flavorful portions offered. 01/02/2026: A terrible misadventure... To say the least. As soon as we entered, the first thing the "presumably" owner said to us was: for five people, the table is available from 6:45 PM to 8:30 PM... To which I said, when she brings us the pizza and we finish it... I leave... The lady, with an annoyed expression: she turns on us... and she knows what's involved... We always work two shifts... Maybe next time... Before rudely attacking, whoever earns your living... Learn to make pizza... Your Neapolitan pizza is only in name... Zero leavening and at times it seemed uncarvable... 05/01/2026: Discovered this restaurant by chance in San Daniele del Friuli. The prosciutto is a must-try, and the tagliolini are spectacular; I'd go back just for that. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it's a bit small, so I recommend booking.

23/09/2025: A fantastic burger joint in Udine. The atmosphere is great, with a bit of a saloon vibe. You can enjoy a game of pool while waiting for your delicious burger. The music is also pleasant, but not too loud, so you can keep chatting with each other. Another great thing is the variety of beers they have. If you can't decide, you can enjoy a tasting of different beers. And what really matters is the burgers. They come in a variety of flavors, and oh my, what a treat! Baked perfectly, the buns are nice and fresh and cooked along with the burger, and the sauces you can choose from are also truly delicious. Highly recommended, a solid 10.

We were lucky enough to try Eleonora's cuisine, what can I say? It was a real feast for the eyes and the palate! The dessert capped off a perfect dinner 🤩 We'll definitely be back every time we're in Gemona 👍🏻

09/01/2026: La Tavernaccia is very welcoming, with a fireplace lit as soon as you enter. There aren't many seats, so I recommend making a reservation. The cappellacci and fettuccine were truly delicious and beautifully presented. The classic frico and polenta dish was delicious and delicate in flavor. The appetizers were all of excellent quality, but I expected a little more prosciutto for the price of the "tavernaccia platter." The staff were super friendly and, above all, very helpful and friendly. Overall, an excellent dinner, highly recommended!

We ordered two appetizers, two first courses, and two desserts, all truly delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, friendly, and fast, with the (unsurprising) added bonus of attentive service to our two 10-month-old children. Highly recommended!

05/01/2026: I'm giving it only one star because zero is impossible. Recommended by some for the location and the good grill, and I'm spending New Year's Eve there. I must say I suffered from the cold; the dining room was unheated, except for a halogen heater near the bathrooms. The place was cold, and the food was cold. The timing of the dishes was poorly managed. I paid way too much for the inconvenience.

25/01/2026: First and probably only... negative experience! We booked a table for four for 7:30 PM. When we arrived at the scheduled time, the restaurant was already packed. The menu, displayed on a blackboard, was already missing several dishes. We ordered drinks and also chose what to eat. Unfortunately, however, we were informed twice that some of the items we had ordered in the meantime had run out. The owner, whom we later spoke to because the waitress seemed very annoyed, explained that two refreshments were also being served and asked us to understand and accommodate her. Indeed, we accommodated her... I asked to cancel the order because I preferred to leave. I asked to pay for the half liter of wine and the bottle of sparkling water, but she offered them to us. I thank her again for this "kindness"... but, certainly, this gesture does not mitigate the great disappointment. It's true, it's an osteria, but perhaps it's better not to take reservations for dinner if you're targeting other types of customers!!! And yet it had been recommended to me and described very positively... What a shame!
