31/10/2025: I don't understand the negative reviews. We ate well, everything was good, from the appetizer to the main course, the environment (the veranda) was well heated, the day wasn't very cold but there was a breeze.

16/09/2025: This has been our preferred source for delicious Italian pizza in Lignano for years. Fresh and quick to make maxi pizzas, where you can combine different toppings. Great crust and crispy crust. Single slices are also available for those with a small appetite.

06/12/2025: I was passing through the area and Google recommended this place. I had dinner with my daughter. We had the local specialty, "baci di pizza." They were really good. We wanted two dishes, but the waitress kindly informed us that one dish would be enough for both of us. That's what happened. Everything was really good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it. The dishes are delicious. We'll definitely be back.

05/12/2025: Really great pizza, a large variety of pizzas, gluten free option available and it was delicious (senza glutine). Waiters are really kind, service is super fast and you get to look how the pizza is made and baked. This is truly an amazing experience

23/11/2025: We stopped to taste San Daniele, and ordered two full menus. Excellent prosciutto, delicious cheeses, and pickled vegetables. The staff was very friendly, even offering us a nice limoncello and chocolates. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money.

10/11/2025: First time and last time for us, a good meeting place for a drink or to eat some San Daniele prosciutto. Our experience was pleasant, the prosciutto was good, but it's a shame the cheese board was a bit meager; I would have added a few more slices. A bit pricey: €108 for two cheese boards, mixed cheeses, and focaccia, with a drink per person (4 proseccos and 2 bottles of water). Some say you pay for quality, and I saw it on the receipt!

Of course, if it's Sunday and it's Italy, then pizza is the order of the day, the basic Margherita pizza is also very good, my all-time favorite is Quattro Formaggio. Older ladies bring the food, so if there are a lot of people, you have to wait patiently for the food. Important! The restaurant closes at 2 pm for the siesta, so you have to hurry with lunch. 14/11/2025: A pleasant and delicious discovery for us VEGANS too (we're new to Friuli, by the way)!!! Looking at it from the outside, it immediately reminded me of my grandparents, the timeless rustic style that captivates and warms the heart❤!!! Clean and cared for in every detail, it feels like you've gone back in time... with the fireplace lit, beautiful, well-furnished rooms, the professionalism of the owner and staff is unparalleled... in fact, they're ready to advise and clarify every detail for those with intolerances, celiac disease, or vegans like us. We ordered delicious barley and bean soup, mixed salad, delicious potato chips, steamed vegetables, homemade giardiniera, an excellent organic Friulian, and to finish, the friendly owner offered us vegan pear ice cream drowned in pear liqueur, a true delight that won us over!!! Next time I'll also try the polenta!!! We will definitely return to this relaxing, rustic place!! Highly recommended!!!

15/11/2025: First time here, we'll definitely be back. Very kind and attentive staff. Welcoming place, amazing food. We tried the seafood appetizer tasting and the catch of the day as a main course. To finish, the millefeuille was delicious, and most importantly, homemade.

13/12/2025: Thanks to a promotion offered by a driving school, we discovered this place. I was impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They welcomed us with a complimentary aperitif. The pizzas were fantastic. The crust was crispy, well-cooked, yet still well-risen. The toppings were generous and well-distributed, with top-quality ingredients. It's best to book if you're going with a group. We'll definitely be back soon.

07/12/2025: Never had a chance to try the pizzas: I tried to order home delivery twice, they promised 40 minutes for delivery, an hour and a half passed, I tried calling several times, they finally answered (after 9 PM!) and said they still had to make the pizzas ordered at 7:30 PM... the order was canceled... they should learn to be honest if they're busy: it's better to immediately say they can't prepare takeout deliveries or give a deadline for that. After two failed attempts (at two different times) we definitely won't call again...

09/11/2025: The pizza is good (I tried the Margherita and the vegetable one, delicious), the price is excellent, the lady at the counter is friendly, and the tables are spacious and clean. We loved it!

15/09/2025: Beautiful, clean atmosphere, with a small room called the grotto, very romantic. Mainly traditional Friulian dishes. We tried several (7 adults and 2 children, and for 2 of them she ordered a special dish), all excellent. We'll definitely be back and will bring some friends.

17/10/2025: Definitely high-quality yet informal. Excellent, attentive, and unobtrusive service. The cuisine was excellent, although some dishes didn't fully meet expectations. In any case, it was superior. The spider crab was exceptional. The welcome amenity (included in the service) was also delicious: a glass of bubbles and a parmesan crumble, as well as homemade cantucci biscuits with vin santo at the end of the meal and an excellent grappa. For my taste, I would have cooked the spaghetti with clams half a minute longer, and I would have also prepared the cream differently, but it must be said that the dish wasn't on the menu and, with great availability, was freshly prepared, so it's understandable that the quality wasn't the same as that of other dishes on the menu. Perhaps due to a misunderstanding, instead of a raw seafood appetizer with the spider crab, a lukewarm appetizer was served. It was excellent, but different from what was ordered. Another reason to return and try the raw seafood. The baked turbot was good, but the dish didn't entirely meet my expectations, and tastes vary. I prefer it more dry when cooked to perfection. Overall, regardless of my personal taste, it was an excellent experience, and I'll definitely recommend it again. Kudos to the truly exceptional service.
