The service is excellent, with thorough explanations. Gloria and her husband are very friendly and approachable hosts. I highly recommend it! And we'll be back.

11/04/2026: A truly positive experience! The service was incredibly fast and friendly, and throughout the evening I was impressed by the professionalism of the wait staff, not only through their interactions with our own tables but also with those at other tables. The dishes offered were all better than the last: starting with the appetizers, my partner and I had fried "fake calamari" (mushroom-based, but practically indistinguishable from the taste of real calamari, thanks to a delicious, crunchy, and light breading) and a cashew burratina. We then moved on to an amazing vegan carbonara and a vegan lamb en croute (delicious, super flavorful, and with the perfect texture). We finished with some amazing vegan cheeses: blue cheese, brie, and ricotta, our three favorites! I should also add that I approached this dinner with active and lively gastritis, and for the first time in weeks, I was able to eat my fill without experiencing the classic symptoms of digestive difficulty. The excellent quality of the ingredients is evident, and the chef uses them to the fullest, enhancing them and creating light yet incredibly flavorful dishes. Finally, the bill was absolutely reasonable for the more than satisfactory quality and quantity. As I told the chef at the end of the evening, they'll see us again!

It was almost a coincidence that we chose three dishes that share the citrus notes of lemon—from the appetizer, to the main course, to the dessert. You can sense a great deal of research behind these balances: it won't be easy to create new offerings with such a structured menu. Next time I definitely want to try their tempeh. Impeccable service, well done!

17/02/2026: I searched Google Maps for a place to celebrate Valentine's Day with my wife. A lovely culinary experience...I preferred the meat menu, coming from a seaside area. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious, with a good selection of local wines, including artisanal ones. I will definitely return. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Congratulations also for Cristian's courtesy and friendliness.

07/01/2026: Christian, the king of Zompicchia! Where to start? The professionalism of the wait staff is impeccable, yet they never make you feel out of place—quite the opposite! Christian knows how to guide you through a true culinary experience (not to mention the wine pairings). I always love coming back because, despite the refined dishes, they make you feel at home. Excellent value, warm and welcoming atmosphere, just like the osterias of old! What more can I say? Definitely an experience worth trying!

02/04/2026: Regular customers at this pizzeria for years, last night we ordered four takeout pizzas as usual. We specifically asked if it was possible to have a baby pizza for a child and were told yes; otherwise, we would have easily chosen another option without any problem. Once we got home, my pizza contained an ingredient I'd asked to be removed (as has happened many times before, but which we've always overlooked), and the child's pizza was prepared in a regular size and charged full price. When I called to report the situation, the response was unprofessional and arrogant. I was told that mistakes happen (but shouldn't happen so often) and that nothing would change for the baby pizza. When I offered a future discount, since I couldn't return to pick up just one pizza and considering we're regular customers, the lady on the phone replied, "First of all, you don't decide anything," and then ended the call with a "good evening" while I was still talking. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what makes the difference is the way you handle the customer, especially when it comes to (now ex-) regular customers.

09/10/2025: I searched Google for an artisanal ice cream shop. After a disappointing lunch in Lignano, I wanted an ice cream. I went to this ice cream shop with a friend from the Marche region. I'll start by saying I'm Sicilian. I immediately noticed the professionalism and hospitality of the sales staff. We ordered two cups with three scoops of ice cream each. I was thrilled. To say it was good would be an understatement. Superlative, that's my opinion. Thanks to the owners and all the staff. I recommend it.

19/03/2026: Amazing We tried almost everything we found during our stay in the area... From Buchtel pastries to cakes and various tarts; fabulous! The hazelnut and elderberry cake was a standout... incredible.

27/04/2026: Yesterday, April 26th, there was an event in Aquileia, so there was a significant influx of people. I went in to buy some cold drinks. During the 15-minute wait to pay, I saw what I assume was the owner put on a truly grotesque show. He was rushing to get things done as quickly as possible; unfortunately, the more he panted and banged things around to get things done, the more he hindered the rest of the work. During those 15 minutes, I listened to him harshly and in a truly uncivilized manner toward the woman who was in charge of taking orders, serving at the counter, and serving tables. A derogatory attitude toward this woman that I couldn't justify even if they were somehow related. I complimented the woman on her self-control, and here I publicly tell the owner to be ashamed, as an employer and as a man.

06/03/2026: Highly recommended! Authentic Chinese food of excellent quality, incredibly tasty, and at a very fair price. Great variety of dishes, fast service, and very friendly staff! Very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.

05/04/2026: Excellent! Not far from the center, it's one of the few places open on Sundays in Udine. The chocolate is fabulous, and they offer a wide variety of exquisite pralines. The service was prompt, and the handwritten bill added a homey touch to our experience.

28/03/2026: I was given some chocolates for my birthday, and besides being beautiful to look at, they are the best chocolates I have ever tasted!!
