05/04/2026: Fantastic Michelin-starred cuisine at normal restaurant prices. We had the fish menu and were absolutely thrilled. If you're in the area and hungry – this is the best place!

The ambience, cuisine, friendliness, and quality make this restaurant a true gem, especially since it's located in a quaint hamlet, expertly enhanced by the owner. In short...a guarantee! Prices are, of course, fair, just like everything else.

08/04/2026: Excellent experience, friendly and helpful staff. Even though the place was busy, they greeted us with a smile at the counter and then found us a spot on the sofa at the entrance. Excellent experience. The prosciutto tartines were good, but I probably preferred the cooked ham and horseradish ones, paired with a very pleasant Merlot. The cod with polenta was the highlight of the flavors, exquisite, and I recommend trying it! P.S. The disposable towels were much appreciated. Update: I came back for dinner and everything was delicious, from the tartare to the pasta and the meat. Everything was excellent, well done ❣️

31/03/2026: TOP hospitality, very helpful staff, and the welcome won us over right away. Then we enjoyed some amazing pizzas, with a choice of dough. Our spelt pizzas were incredibly crispy and truly delicious. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

22/03/2026: Unfortunately, our car window was smashed and we were robbed. When we asked for help at the restaurant, we received no assistance whatsoever. The waiter was very dismissive and showed no interest in our situation. With service like that, we can't even give one star. What's particularly alarming is that, according to other reviews, similar incidents have apparently happened there quite frequently.

25/03/2026: For 3 years at least 2/3 times a month I stopped for lunch at Al Cjariesar and I must say that there was not a single time that I could complain. The service was quick and competent, the dishes were always excellently prepared and varied. Highly recommended.

24/01/2026: I tried this place relatively recently and was completely satisfied, returning several times. First of all, the place is pleasant, a beautiful, welcoming room that's not noisy or smelly, a lovely green outdoor courtyard... The menu is always extensive and caters to everyone: traditional Friulian dishes, some fish dishes (the fried calamari is superb), excellent meat (there's a lovely fogolâr)... The pizzas are truly unique, made as if they were homemade but extremely digestible and with excellent ingredients. We recently had a Christmas dinner here with colleagues: the menu, manageable size limits, and prices were explained to us very politely. Of the twenty colleagues, no one had anything to complain about, and in fact, everyone was completely satisfied. We were also offered a very fresh sorbet with our dishes, and the desserts are excellent. Family-run, Friulian management, truly excellent despite their hard work. Definitely a fair value for money.
