11/05/2025: Came for a friend's birthday and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. There is a parking lot at the back of the building but street parking in that neighborhood is easy enough to find. The staff was kind and attentive. Restrooms were in great order and the time spent there left enough of an impression of me that I would be inclined to come back and have a meal when in the area.

14/05/2025: If you want to find shelter inside a place where genuineness and kindness are the protagonists, this is the place for you. In summer, you will hardly find a place where it is cooler. I will end this short review by talking about the honesty and cordiality of the owner that you will rarely find in a bar in Parma.
01/05/2025: We found this place from a distance, having to organize my son's graduation party and living about 380 km from Parma, with all the risks involved, but we were attracted by the excellent and numerous reviews. It proved to be a super good choice, which we are very happy about. Owner, serious, correct, friendly and extremely helpful, as well as friendly (which never hurts) True Neapolitan but well integrated into the Emilian context😂, the “hybrid” Emilian/Neapolitan lasagna 10++++, to try!!!!!! The place isn't big, but it's super suitable for parties like ours. There were 15 of us and on the advice of the owner, given the small number we were able to opt for table service, but the restaurant with buffet services can accommodate double the number of people. Possibility of sitting both inside and under the external portico, a recommended choice when it is very hot, as it is well ventilated. The products, all very good, fresh and abundant, from the series, rest assured that you won't leave hungry, on the contrary😂 In our case we had two vegetarian guests, who were served with products they greatly appreciated. Good quality wine. Correct price, in relation to the quality of the products, the quantity and proportionate to the city of Parma. Located a stone's throw from the main headquarters of the University of Parma and the city center. Thank you Vincenzo and Mrs., congratulations👍🏻

Ultimamente è inaccessibile prendere il gelato, file di gente e rischi di stare mezz’ora per prendere il gelato, tutta colpa del personale lento nel gestire tanta clientela. Inoltre con 10 persone in fila non ci può essere solo una a servire i gelati tra l’altro in maniera frettolosa e con una quantità scarsissima. Se potete evitate.
10/05/2025: Fantástico helado y también postres realmente deliciosos presentados en hermosa cristalería (que se llega a guardar... o puede devolver por un pequeño reembolso). ¡Uno de los mejores lugares para un dulce en Parma!

25/05/2025: Abbiamo scelto questo posto secondo indicazione di un gentile signore dipendente di un bar del centro di Parma. Premetto che per errore nostro non ci siamo informati circa il menù offerto che poi abbiamo scoperto non essere soddisfacente per le nostre aspettative, non avendo pietanze che cercavamo come prima volta a Parma. Decidiamo quindi di cercare un’altra soluzione e di lasciare il locale specificando ai dipendenti che avremmo pagato tutto quello che dovevamo pagare per il disguido e per lasciare il tavolo prenotato senza consumare. Lo chef senza presentarsi né capire il motivo della nostra decisione ci specifica che potevamo anche consultare il menu esposto esternamente e che per fortuna essendo domenica a pranzo e potevano rimpiazzare il tavolo. A questo punto girandosi se ne va. Abbiamo letto in una recensione che se al cliente non piace la location loro di certo non lo trattengono. Alla luce di questo, non piacendoci il menù credo allora ci siamo trovati nella stessa linea d’onda.

27/05/2025: We were there on Sunday evening in 4. We took 4 tasting menus and 1 bottle of Taurasi for €50. Total expense €350. Everything was very satisfying, well presented dishes that combined in a balanced way some local ingredients with other more "foreign" ones. Kind and knowledgeable staff, a small slip on the description of the wine that however was not a problem. I do not live in the area but if I were to have the opportunity I would gladly return.
18/05/2025: A nice lawyer from Parma had told me about the La Valle restaurant, together we had shared the table at a Champagne-themed dinner last summer, alternating our impressions of the dishes and glasses that we gradually found in front of us with the sharing of our experiences in frequenting the places in the city and surrounding areas. If, at least from the name, I could have imagined arriving in a place nestled between the first hills above Fidenza, I could not have made a bigger mistake. You go up, to enjoy a magnificent view of the Po Valley, open 180° before your eyes, the horizon limited only by that veil of evening mist of a day that was full of light. Unfortunately I forgot to take some photos of the outside, the parking lot leads to a large veranda that embraces the entire building, in front of a beautiful lawn, several aperitif tables where you can linger for a few minutes before finally moving inside. You are welcomed by a refined environment, the distances, the essential lines of the floor and walls, the spaces, the discreet lighting relax the senses, designed to enjoy a dinner without disturbing or being disturbed. The dining room staff have never lacked courtesy, above all attention and professionalism, the precise description of the preparations and above all the idea of ​​each of our 5 courses, completely in the dark, left to the choice of the kitchen. A journey from water to earth, from lightness to intensity, first freshness then the soft embrace of a new vision of the classics of the Emilian tradition, rightly a lot of space for stuffed pasta and broths, the choice to enhance if not exactly the km 0, at least the “right” km is essential. Unquestionable raw materials, interpreted with imagination and precision, all very good dishes, but truly extraordinary the brioche bread with beef tongue and, for once, I feel like focusing on the dessert, not only the point of arrival but as has rarely happened to me the true protagonist, in the delightful friability of the Torta di Rose. Among the pairings chosen for us, a plus for the Saint-Joseph Blanc “Vessettes” from Domaine de la Roche Paradis, varied and exotic, with a decidedly mineral matrix well underlined in the finish of the mouth. If I ever meet the lawyer again, I will have to thank him… 🙂
