19/08/2026: On our way to Tuscany, we made a detour to discover this fabulous, authentic restaurant: go without hesitation. The clientele is Italian, not tourists, and the waiter knows his ingredients and gave us excellent advice, including on the wine. The rabbit was both crispy and tender, which is quite an achievement for such a lean meat. For dessert, be sure to try their homemade ice cream, which they prepare right at your table. Thank you, we loved it.

18/08/2026: A very disappointing experience; don't be fooled by the hype. We made a detour to Parma specifically to try this restaurant, but the experience was terrible from start to finish. We arrived around 12:10 PM, to a practically empty restaurant, and ordered at 12:20 PM. We waited about 45 minutes for our dishes. Meanwhile, tables arriving much later were being served with priority, and we clearly felt a difference in treatment simply because we hadn't ordered alcohol (since I was pregnant, we only ordered water). When the risottos finally arrived, they were lukewarm to cold (despite the plate underneath being hot). We reported the problem; they told us the temperature was "appropriate," and then offered to remake them, but my mother preferred not to eat, and I reluctantly ate mine. The food overall was mediocre to poor, well below expectations. To finish, we ordered the famous "gelato di Parma": another 15 minutes of waiting while they served and offered gelato to other tables that arrived later. The gelato was completely tasteless, barely redeemed by the chocolate dripping on top. In Italy, you can find gelato a thousand times better everywhere. Discriminatory service towards those who don't drink wine/alcohol, disappointing food, and unjustified prices. Absolutely not worth it.

22/08/2026: This inn is a gem! The setting is incredibly relaxing, in an old farmhouse with a small church on a hill in front. Excellent food and super friendly service. The tagliatelle with hare ragù and the saffron gnocchi on a cream of confit tomato were both delicious.

15/08/2026: Terrible customer service. Depending on your friendliness, tables are assigned inside or outside, regardless of whether you book or not. The food is average. Tagliatelle with ragù, without ragù, finished the plate with three forkfuls. The snails with polenta were very cold, another slow dish that was quickly gone. The bottled water was excellent. Oh well!!! Best wishes to future customers.

06/08/2026: The pizzas and desserts are always very good. It's very innovative: every month there's a new pizza, often very good and even unique. Plus, you can choose between a thin, medium, or thick pizza. The basic menu also features many pizzas with various names and ingredients. For dessert, I recommend the mascarpone cream—it's probably the best in Parma.

18/06/2026: Good food, from the steak to the prosciutto and parmesan platter. Service is attentive, helpful, and fast. The place is located on a side street, making it very quiet. The downside is that the tables are in the middle of this street, where motorcycles and bicycles pass by, and there are garbage bags everywhere. It lacks atmosphere.

07/06/2026: We had a pleasant experience in Parma, and really enjoyed it. The fried gnocchi, cured meats, and other local delicacies were delicious. It's a small selection, but it's done really well.

31/07/2026: Unfortunately, entry is only possible until mid-afternoon, but it is worth visiting both the castle and the surrounding area for the vineyards.

30/07/2026: This is a lot stairs and cobblestone. But it's pretty untouched, and cheap to visit. And the views are incredible from up there.

23/07/2026: On our way back to Switzerland, this bakery was recommended to us. They had very delicious pastries, especially the spinach cake. We'll definitely stop by again next time.

09/08/2026: A peaceful setting in the hills, refreshing especially when the city heat is unbearable. We had a wonderful dinner, especially local dishes, including the tagliolini with truffle and the guinea fowl.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful; the waitress in particular professionally guided us in choosing the menu best suited to our tastes and needs. We opted for the tasting menu and were thrilled. Each course showcased the meat beautifully, thanks to carefully crafted sauces and accompaniments, creating a truly extraordinary balance of flavors. Each dish was harmonious, refined, and perfectly balanced. A sincere compliment to the chef and the entire team for the passion, expertise, and attention to detail that make this gastronomic experience so special. We will definitely be back.
