An iconic trattoria in the provinces of Parma and Piacenza.
We went on Saturday evening. The place was cheerful and friendly, but above all, the food was absolutely excellent.
The tortafritta and high-quality cured meats, not to mention the gelato!
The price was more than fair, everything was excellent!
They've been in business for three generations, there must be a reason.

We booked for 9:00 PM, and they served us at 10:00 PM... We almost went hungry!
They brought us torta fritta but forgot the cured meats! It was even difficult to get the server's attention; it seemed like our table wasn't there. In the end, with some effort, we managed to eat quite well! What a shame, a missed opportunity to attract new customers!

We were intrigued by the fact that they make stuffed fried cakes, which cost €1.50 each. We tried the one with Gorgonzola, which they do have a lot of, the one with the seasonal fantasy (with asparagus), the newest dish (Carbonara), and the one with ricotta (which we didn't try, though). Everything we tried was completely satisfying.
The classic fried cake, on the other hand, costs 0.50 cents a piece, and they're nice, large, satisfying pieces, not tiny like elsewhere.
The cured meats were good, and the cheese platter was excellent, including Gorgonzola, Stracchino, sweet Sardinian pecorino (truly delicious), and Parmesan, with fig jam and honey.
Moreover, as something we hadn't initially requested, they brought us a small plate with a pork crackling and a slice of cicciolata each, and a Parmigiano Reggiano cream, which was very good.
The lemon and strawberry sorbet was good.
The service was quick, above all. At the beginning, a young waiter came and was very professional.
They also offered us a digestive.
