I've been wanting to eat at this restaurant for a while now, based on the photos I'd seen on social media, and I finally made it. It was worth it, first and foremost for the kindness and wonderful friendliness of both the owner and the entire staff. The place is truly beautiful, well-kept, and clean. There's a main dining room with a terrace, but there are also some lovely indoor dining rooms. The menu is truly comprehensive, catering to both vegetarians and meat-eaters, and everything is delicious. The desserts are spectacular; I wanted to try their gelato, and it was a delight, but the rest of the food was tempting, too.
Totally satisfied, I'll be back with friends because it's worth it.

Highly recommended – delicious food, very friendly staff, and a lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. They even arranged a taxi back to my hotel for me – very helpful towards tourists.

Parma Rotta is a lovely restaurant in Parma city, I was genuinely looking forward to my dinner experience here but my expectations were not completely met. Overall the service was professional and all, but first of all I didn't particularly like the fact that after I said "I am not drinking wine tonight, I have to drive home" the waiter said to me "but you don't live that far". I mean I could live in the neighbourhood next to this for all that I care, if I'm not drinking I'm not drinking.
But I mean I do understand that might've been a misunderstanding and i would say i was not particularly satisfied by the food. I got the Risotto "Riserva San Massimo" ai porri fondenti, gorgonzola ed erba cipollina and the amount of risotto was definitely quite little, not that I was expecting a plate full of risotto but nevertheless that was probably 60 grams of risotto...
The most disappointing part was the dessert though. I had 6L'Oscar: il nostro gelato fior di latte accompagnato da salsa al cioccolato e zabaione montato espresso, accompagnato da un croccante di mandorle e mini bigne' farciti con delicata crema diplomatica and well, as you can already tell from the long name, the expectations were high. And not met at all. Honestly I don't understand why, in the other hand, the dessert size was so big. Is it to justify the fact that it's 18€? Because the gelato fior di latte was enough to fill the people. Why not make smaller versions, accessible to customers who are eating alone, and prevent food waste as well? Or at least it would be fair if you specified within the menu's pages that the dessert would be more suited for sharing.
Overall I did not like the dessert flavour that much, it was too sweet and not particularly impactful other than the beautiful serving style, but maybe that's only on me so I will not say more.
I don't think I would go back, I personally found it to be a little too much pretentious with servings that seem to care more about presentation and less about quantity, flavor balance, nutrition, and fair price while I do confirm the service and the environment were flawless.

The chateau au bénédictin with sabernese sauce is excellent. The portion is enormous (and the price is accordingly). The service is very good.

A very nice atmosphere, with a veranda outside.
Plenty of impeccable waiters.
Parking in the courtyard, with electric car charging available.
The appetizer of good cured meats is delicious; they don't do tortafritta.
First courses are good, the portion of puff pastry rolls is small, spaghetti chitarra with rabbit is good and the quantity is just right.
It's a chitarra, not chitarra, anyway.
Second courses: sliced lamb and lamb ribs, as expected, sublime, cooked to perfection.
Desserts: baba and zuppa inglese, nothing special, the pudding is the best, I recommend it.
Price is above average at €75 per person.
Wine: a bottle of Lambrusco.

An exceptional experience at this restaurant, which stands out for its refined cuisine, using local and international products, but always of the highest quality.
The menu and wine list are certainly the restaurant's flagships.
An excellent selection of premium cuts of meat. I tried a Florentine steak made from Rubia Gallega, aged for 60 days, grilled to perfection. I can only say that it melted in my mouth, and the flavor was intense, unique, and persistent.
I paired such a fine cut of meat with one of the finest 2021 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wines from the Emidio Pepe winery, which is available in the restaurant's extensive cellar.
I will definitely return to this restaurant to try other delicacies masterfully prepared by the chef.
The price is high, but the quality of the food is very high and needs to be reborn. Andrea

I recommend the meat, which is available in many varieties and is of excellent quality. The portions are generous. The appetizers and desserts are also excellent.
