04/11/2025: The fish quality was excellent, but the service could definitely be improved. The first time, the service wasn't up to par with the restaurant. The second time, the wait was still too long, an order was lost without any waiter realizing it, and once served, the food was cold.

23/09/2025: Castello di Torrechiara is incredible. Built in the 1400s by Pier Maria Rossi as both a fortress and a love story for Bianca Pellegrini, it has been beautifully preserved. Walking through the frescoed halls and the famous Golden Chamber is a real highlight. The tour lasts about 45 minutes to an hour which is just the right amount of time to take it all in. What makes the visit even better is the small village that sits right on the castle property up the hill. There is a restaurant, wine tasting, and a few places to relax, and it feels like stepping back into another time. The combination of the castle and the little hamlet makes this well worth the drive from Parma and a perfect way to spend part of the day.

23/09/2025: I visited the castle on Saturday at 2:00 PM and made an appointment for 12:30 PM via WhatsApp, using a number I got online. I could also have chosen to have lunch with them, featuring traditional products. The organization is thorough and fast. The tour lasts about an hour and you see the entire castle inside. Price: €8 + €5 for the guide (who is well worth it!). There are many rooms, and there's no furniture. Beautiful views.

The restaurant is welcoming, with a beautiful open kitchen where you can watch the dishes being prepared, and the soft lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, always attentive but never intrusive. Every dish was a surprise: carefully explained, beautifully presented, and truly delicious, made with quality ingredients. You can feel the chef's passion and attention to detail. The prices are fair for the quality served. I will definitely be back!

20/09/2025: An alternative restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, small and welcoming. The waitresses were extremely kind and smiling (something you rarely find these days). The meat was exquisite, prepared with care and attention to flavor combinations! The chef's surprises with pre- and post-dinner treats (details that make the difference from the usual restaurants) were very welcome. I won't say much to make you curious to try them. Compliments to the chef and all the staff. Highly recommended.

12/11/2025: Weekday lunch, a spartan atmosphere with minimalist tableware, but tidy and quiet. Relaxed service, surprisingly high-quality food (à la carte). I ordered mushroom tartare (hand-cut and excellent meat), anolini in brodo (I emphasize: broth, not a side dish but a worthy co-star), and tagliatelle with mushrooms (and I got mushrooms with tagliatelle, perfectly cooked). Adequate portions, reasonable bill, and friendly service. We'll be back.

The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, the staff is friendly and always attentive to their customers' needs. The pizza is simply fantastic: light dough, fresh, quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked in a wood-fired oven. The restaurant's dishes are also highly recommended—we tried a seafood appetizer and a fish-based first course, both delicious and beautifully presented. Excellent value and fast service.
