29/03/2025: Let's start with the fact that I'm sorry to be forced to write this review. I've eaten at this restaurant twice. The quality of the raw materials, the study of the combinations and the preparation of the dishes are absolutely excellent. I've eaten excellent risottos with combinations of decidedly successful and interesting flavors. I'm not entirely convinced about the price: I find that some dishes are slightly too expensive, but all in all it's fine considering the quality. A flaw, in my opinion, is that they charge €2.50 per person for the cover charge (which is nothing more than a paper placemat and a bag with cutlery and a napkin also made of paper) but on the menu - unless I'm mistaken - I don't seem to have read it. Personally, for that price I would expect a table setting made of very different materials. The problem that leads me, unfortunately, to write this one-star review despite the excellent premises, is that I hate being made fun of and I can't stand the so-called "smart guys". After lunch I go to the cashier, pay €38.00 in cash and am given a non-fiscal receipt (the famous "pre-bill", which here is almost completely similar to a fiscal receipt, even without the indication that it is a non-fiscal document, a condition that seems to me to be mandatory for a pre-bill). When I ask the girl at the cashier to receive the fiscal receipt, she kindly responds (as if I were a complete idiot) that it was already in my hands. After telling her that what I had in my possession was not the actual receipt, she finally gives me the commercial document. Unfortunately, I must point out that this modus operandi is not the first time it has happened, during my previous visit I had been given the "pre-bill", but I only noticed it once at home and I was unable to request the actual fiscal document. I understand everything, but being crafty by evading taxes and then also trying to make fools of those who point it out I think is a bit too much. If you get caught with your fingers in the jam, at least have the good sense not to fool the person in front of you by denying the evidence. I attach to the review the photos of the excellent risottos eaten and the two receipts received, the "fake" one and the "real" one.

An excellent idea to expand and allow customers to taste the pizza on site in a well-kept and welcoming location. One of the best pizzas in Vignola. Staff always available, polite and kind.

30/03/2025: Es uno de los restaurantes de Massimo Battura, que supo tener el mejor restaurante del mundo con su Osteria Franciscana. Y acá se nota su mano para elaborar el menú y tener un grupo que refleja su calidad. Fuimos un sábado y no hay carta, solo menú de 6 y 8 pasos. Tomamos el primero y en mi caso agregué el plato de tortellini, de Tortellane en salsa crema de parmesano. Aclaro que tortellane es una entidad benéfica que elabora los tortellini con personas discapacitadas. Todo resultó excelente, un plato mejor que otro. Bien servidos con muy buena vajilla. Muy buena atención, permanentemente atentos para cualquier requerimiento. Debo resaltar la atención de Ricardo, un veneciano que habla español y nos explicó cada plato. En el final al pagar la cuenta nos descontó los tortellini porque en la reserva no nos avisaron que los sábados no hay carta, solo menues, Para volver y recomendar

30/03/2025: Siamo tornati a cena menù tradizione+tortellini con abbinamento 3 calici. Piatti e servizio di ottimo livello come sempre, peccato x l'abbinamento dei vini di modesta qualità e x noi sbagliati oltre che ad un prezzo eccessivo. Torneremo sicuramente ma sceglieremo noi il vino.

On January 26th my sister and I decided, around 5pm, to have an ice cream and I had decided to have the tiramisu one because there wasn't any coffee one and while I was eating it I noticed some white bubbles around my lips. Then after an hour I felt sick and regurgitated everything I had in my stomach. So I don't think there are proper ingredients in the ice cream. (I'm not allergic to anything)

I fully confirm what I wrote a few months ago: "A cuisine that has its roots in the family history that I invite you to read on the restaurant's website. This could make your experience at the Damedeo more complete. An elegant, warm and welcoming place. Impeccable and excellent service. Cuisine whose authenticity and flavors of times gone by is combined with sober and careful research. An appointment with the Damedeo cannot be missed in the agenda of anyone who goes to Modena. Highly recommended."
