Let's just say I expected something better from the reviews. The baskets with gnocco, gnocchini, and piadina were excellent and plentiful, but not commensurate with the cold cuts platters, which we found very meager, without even a bit of cheese or pickled vegetables.
Everything else... nothing special... at prices a little above average for the quantities served.
23/02/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant, and from the way it went, it was a terrible experience, both in terms of the quality of the food served and the service, especially when it's provided by the owner. I think it's a bit overrated as a restaurant; the owner in question even seems friendly when he wanders among the tables and makes unsolicited, and certainly not very funny, jokes.

10/12/2025: Last Friday, my wife, daughter, and I stopped for dinner at this wonderful bistro.
The place is very welcoming, with a family atmosphere and warm lighting. We tried some delicious dishes (borlenghi, gnocco fritto, and tigelle) accompanied by a delicious Lambrusco (sold for a very reasonable price, less than €10).
I forgot about the mascarpone, which was amazing.
I once again compliment both the dining room and the kitchen; we will definitely be back.

25/10/2025: We went here tonight with friends for the first time. Good food and friendly staff! The place has limited seating... but just make a reservation! Excellent.

It's a place like an old-fashioned inn. We had very good pizza and exceptional mascarpone. The price was fair... what can I say? We'll be back.

11/01/2026: A small but incredibly welcoming and refined restaurant.
The staff was truly competent, attentive, and kind! They took care of every single detail and made us feel at ease.
We opted for a mix of appetizers, first courses, and second courses to sample the various specialties on the menu.
Each dish was beautifully served, carefully crafted, and delicious.
I was personally impressed by the deliciousness of the seafood risotto!
Compliments to all the staff!!

14/03/2026: Five stars for the atmosphere because it's still as it was fifty years ago. It reflects the authenticity of Mrs. Marta and the food, which is cooked just as it once was. If you're looking for a cool, trendy place, this isn't it. If you're looking for serenity, simplicity, and good food, it's worth a visit.
08/03/2026: A second course is very expensive at 25 euros. And you pay in cash without a receipt.

My wife and I had pizza for lunch: FABULOUS👍. But looking at the menu, several "cosucce" (extra pizza) made our mouths water. Maybe if we ever come back we'll try some😉, that's what happened this time ☺️, but we're not complaining about the choice, IN FACT 😋. The place is EXCELLENT... really welcoming.
06/04/2026: A very charming restaurant, suitable for families and groups. The dining room is well-stocked and the staff is young and friendly. It's a great place for holiday dinners or lunches to savor traditional dishes. The food is good; the tortellini in broth and the sliced beef are the standouts. I highly recommend it.

27/03/2026: I tried Charlie Boys and the experience was rather disappointing.
I ordered a pizza, a calzone, and a beer, for a total of €15.
Personally, I find the price a bit high, especially for a pizzeria that presents itself more like a takeout place, with only a few tables available.
The location leaves much to be desired: basic, bordering on shoddy, poorly maintained, and not particularly welcoming.
As for the food, the ingredients seem good quality, but the pizza didn't convince me.
More than a real pizza, it resembles a focaccia: too thin and lacking in structure.
Overall, it's not an excellent product.
In short, an experience that could be improved in several respects, especially considering the value for money and the ambiance.
07/03/2026: Ordered for 8:10 PM, and they still weren't ready at 8:40 PM...
Maybe manage your reservations better next time.
