03/12/2025: A wonderful experience in a typical mountain setting in Vesale, a quiet village in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines on the slopes of Mount Cimone. A "succulent" food and wine journey was recommended by Alessandro (the manager/owner), who is friendly, helpful, kind, and professional. Excellent and hearty dishes, starting with the appetizers: tartar made with excellent beef typical of the nearby pastures, with mushrooms and truffles, tasty local cheeses, and finally tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles, all paired with an excellent Sangiovese. A special thanks to the staff: the charming Vera, a professional and kind waitress; the chef Marco; and Commendatore Tony, who won me over in the morning with a delicious breakfast. Everything was wonderful, even sleeping in a clean and quiet room. I'll be back soon. Good luck and see you soon. 👋

07/09/2025: Last night I went to pick up some takeout pizzas, and during the very short wait I had the pleasure of talking with Simon, the owner, about gin, and in particular the huge variety available at Piccardy. Simon gave me some very interesting and intriguing tips on the different gins—what a connoisseur! Next time I'll try pairing the fantastic HD pizzas with one of the various gin and tonics they offer! 04/12/2025: I'd like to start by highlighting the cleanliness of this restaurant. We arrived early and the restroom was IMPECCABLE. The staff was well-trained and friendly, and the menu was very clear and well-laid out. The tablecloths were entirely made of fabric; they never left a second one, and the staff were careful to clean the table and chairs after every customer change, always looking happy; it's obvious they do. The food was excellent; unlike what I'd read previously, I found the portions generous. I don't know how they could be called meager because we preferred to take a break for our main course. The portions were small, which reassures me and makes me think these guys really know what they're doing. We'll definitely be back!

29/11/2025: Trattoria with a traditional menu, including a charcuterie board and fried gnocco. The first courses are delicious, and they offer a wide selection of grilled meats. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Recommended.

05/12/2025: The best fried gnocchi in the area, with excellent prosciutto. The pasta and meat were also very good. We'll be back.

12/10/2025: I've been coming here for many years, when Mr. Dante was there. Now it's run by his grandchildren, who have taken over the work and improved it over time. Excellent, well-cooked food. The grilled trout is excellent. Homemade desserts. Attentive customer service. Congratulations to everyone!

23/08/2025: We came to this restaurant with our girls as outsiders to the campground. We loved it, so much so we returned a few days later! Although it's not an AIC-certified restaurant, they provided several gluten-free options (such as risotto, grilled meat, etc.) and even gluten-free bread. The girls had the tortellini in brodo and the gramigna with sausage, both of which they loved. Not to mention the delicious desserts. The portions are generous, and the flavors are authentic, like homemade! The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, and the staff is very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

06/11/2025: A very positive experience at Osteria di Sorbara. Really good food, very light gnocco and tigelle, and a variety of cured meats (unusual). Excellent first courses, risotto with parmesan and drops of balsamic vinegar, truly sublime. The owner is truly exceptional; we celebrated our daughter's birthday there and she reserved the upstairs room for us. A wide selection of menus are available for these occasions. Comfortable, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere. A very positive experience, highly recommended.

31/10/2025: A dinner with friends; we expected more of a tavern-like atmosphere, which is indeed what they have on the ground floor, while the first floor is a large room, which also feels cold in its welcome. We ordered several appetizers, first courses, and second courses, but let's say the pasta dishes were the highlight, while for the rest, I can say it was neither bad nor bad. The service was slow, because we sat down for dinner at 7:44 PM and got up at 11:30 PM, with seven of us. Very positive notes were the courtesy of the staff and the friendliness of the girl taking orders, who recommended excellent wines.

30/11/2025: A fantastic experience, one I'd repeat a thousand times over. Trattoria da Ermes was once the place where my dad spent all his leisure time over a glass of wine (maybe more than one), singing at the top of his lungs with friends. I never imagined it would be nearly the same as it was then. We had a wonderful time, both in terms of food and service. My personal advice: "Don't miss this experience, it's a wonderful experience."

19/11/2025: I'd never eaten zampanella before, and I was surprised by how good they were. Various and tasty offerings. Rustic yet welcoming place located in a village with a panoramic view. Not exactly convenient to get to, but worth it. I recommend it.

12/12/2025: Everything is good but very expensive to eat something as banal as gnocco and tigelle, which are eaten everywhere....they are no longer capable of doing real catering...but you pay the same as a very good restaurant...I'm sorry but that's how it is.

09/12/2025: A small restaurant in a semi-industrial area on the border between Sassuolo and Fiorano Modenese. A business lunch. The gnocco fritto is indeed truly delicious. Otherwise, a typical lunchtime menu during a workday. The staff is young but knowledgeable.

04/11/2025: Conveniently located near the historic center. There are tables outside. It's very crowded in the morning, so it's best to go when it's quieter and less crowded. You can hear the chatter of passersby because it's located under the arcades. There's an indoor dining area. Also ideal for a quick lunch.

18/12/2025: We went to this restaurant for a business dinner. We were a group of about twenty-five people. We all ate pizza together, and the staff was super kind, helpful, and friendly throughout the evening, despite the large group. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and we had a really good time. It was a wonderful evening!
