27/02/2025: This was honestly the worst Italian food I’ve ever had in the US, just giving a couple stars for the nice and attentive staff- this is airport food masquerading as upscale. We got the branzino special, seafood tagliatella, flat iron steak, and lasagna. The lasagna was the best by far and even that was maybe a step above Olive Garden. The seafood and fish tasted frozen and overcooked, the pasta also tasted overcooked, and the portions were hilariously small because again they’re trying to fool you that this place is upscale. Also there was a hair in my steak but I didn’t bother saying anything because I already knew this was a terrible meal and didn’t want to bother waiting for it to be remade. Maybe I’m biased because I’ve only lived in cities with excellent food scenes, and downtown Dallas seems to be a bit of a food desert, but skip this one tbh I’ve never eaten less at an Italian restaurant in my life Edit; nvm changing to one star because I keep thinking about how this might’ve been the worst meal of my life lol and for the price?! Insane

18/02/2025: I had lunch on Sunday because I was craving meat and I was satisfied and satisfied. I took the €35 menu, there's a complete lunch full of everything to satisfy my hunger, everything was excellent, thank you very much ❤️

01/03/2025: For my birthday I ordered a cake from SLURP, and it was a perfect choice! The cake was delicious, made with care and with an exceptional flavour. Furthermore, the service was impeccable: they even delivered directly to the restaurant, making everything even more convenient. If you are looking for quality and professionalism, I absolutely recommend SLURP! I will definitely come back.🫶

24/03/2025: Wonderful experience! To begin with, we want to highlight the kindness of the staff who welcomed us and explained the menu and the dishes with rare courtesy. Excellent tigelle, gnocchi and cured meats .. with the tortellino you reach special heights. With the tray of desserts .. they won us over definitively. Grandma's cooking, which takes you back to your childhood. You can feel the care and attention behind every course. Highly recommended!

18/03/2025: This restaurant was a great discovery! Well-made typical dishes and generous portions. You are welcomed with an appetizer of fried gnocco and cured meats while you decide what to order, we took tortelloni old Modena, the hamburger with a tigellone instead of bread (brilliant), ribeye and fried gnocco with ham and cheese. All very good, price decidedly below average. Special mention to the staff: the waitresses who looked after us stood out for their kindness. Really good!!!

14/01/2025: One of the best ice cream shops in Modena. Super friendly and welcoming staff. High quality ice cream, also very careful about gluten-free. Even though we took the smaller one, the ice cream was very abundant and well presented, served in the shape of a rose.

20/02/2025: Ho scelto questo locale non per la nota nomea, ma per il menù che, tramite un’inserzione su Instagram, mi aveva incuriosito molto. Eravamo una tavolata di 10 persone per un’occasione speciale personale e siamo stati coccolati da un menù a base principalmente di carne (tartare di manzo e guancia brasata di manzo). Cena deliziosa, piatti ricercati, personale cordiale.

08/02/2025: I went to this place for an aperitif. Cocktails and pinsa (also for vegetarians) very good! However, don't expect them to bring you something to eat with the aperitif. Very nice place and atmosphere!

20/03/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with a group of friends. Very very good cuisine. We ate gnocco and tigelle as a starter. As first courses, gramigna and tortellini with balsamic vinegar and tagliatelle with meat sauce. as second courses, pork, cutlet and another and baked potatoes., and drank an excellent Lambrusco Charli and another bottle of grape. Prices are more than fair for quantity and quality and where the restaurant is located, i.e. in the center of Modena. Precise and informal but professional service. I recommend it if you love traditional cuisine

16/03/2025: First time in Modena and due to a rainy evening had to pick a near-by restaurant to walk to. We were really lucky as the food was amazing as well as the service with a quirky surprise at the end of the meal. Really made our day!

15/02/2025: Hospitality "like it used to be", family management, excellent food. If you don't overdo it with the wines, the bill is modest and appropriate. The tortelloni with lemon are touching and wonderful, everything else is delicious. Honorable mention for the steak with three salts, soft and cooked to perfection. Absolutely worth trying.

18/02/2025: Classic dinner with friends on a Saturday evening and after booking (recommended) we go here to Smorfia and for me it's the first time after the change of management. Nothing to say about the pizza, thin, large and well stuffed undoubtedly, classic Spaten beer, courteous staff and discreet dessert. The only note to make, in my experience, was the unfortunate position on the external terrace: unfortunately the most external positions, towards the street, were cold compared to the heating.
