28/06/2026: Yes, it's over an hour from Bologna, but what you find is worth the trip!
A true osteria, with a family atmosphere, quick service, and always a smile, good, authentic food. The zampanella, a soft, warm pastry made to order, contains, unlike the borlengo, Modenese pesto, and everything you could possibly want, from sweet to savory.
You eat in a quiet, cool place, and the food is delicious... What more could you ask for? Oh, and the bill? A bargain!
22/06/2026: A wonderful culinary experience! We tried the green tortellini with parmesan cream (excellent!), a vegetable zampanella (very light, with ricotta, asparagus, and spinach), and a sweet zampanella with gorgonzola and fig jam (a difficult but perfect combination).
The service was courteous and friendly, and excellent value!
Reservations recommended if you're traveling on weekends.

04/01/2026: The food is absolutely excellent and locally sourced, all made with local ingredients (and I'd like to see that side of the mountain is amazing for everything, from cheese to meat... From mushrooms to vegetables, the eggs from the Casellacce hens deserve a prize - beautiful to look at, delicious to eat... spoiler alert, they also sell them if you want to take them home, and I already know you'll want to!) for meat lovers, that's also amazing, maybe I don't recommend it to vegans 😅
24/12/2025: A true mountain farmhouse... excellent cuisine, outdoor space for children, excursions, horseback riding, bike trekking, nature walks, to meet animals free in the woods.

28/03/2026: We had dinner at this hotel restaurant. The service was courteous and pleasant. We enjoyed the dishes we tried; they were well prepared and beautifully presented. Excellent value for money.

08/07/2026: A trattoria from another era. Fresh homemade pasta, fantastic tortelloni with an excellent filling of local ricotta. The homemade desserts are also noteworthy. The service is friendly, cheerful, and familiar. Prices are more than fair. Highly recommended.

Abbiamo mangiato in terrazza e si gode di un bel panorama.
Tortelloni e tagliatelle TOP e anche gli spiedini di manzo molto buoni.
Torneremo sicuramente.

18/11/2024: Abbiamo soggiornato in Maserno di Montese per motivi lavorativi per circa 3 giorni consecutivi, in questi giorni abbiamo ordinato pasti presso questa Osteria sia a pranzo che per la cena. Un solo commento: “ECCEZIONALE”, cibo di alta qualità e porzioni superiori alle aspettative, indifferentemente se trattasi di primi o secondi. Personale cordiale e premuroso, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

05/01/2025: Locale ben curato e molto bello esteticamente, ci sono stato 2 volte e ad entrambi ho trovato personale con molta gentilezza e professionalità, cucina ottima con prodotti al top, da buona forchetta emiliana in questo agriturismo ho mangiato le lasagne più buone di sempre ma non che fossero da meno i tortellini e tortelloni tutto buono.
Spazio esterno con giardino ben tenuto.
Prezzi onesti per la qualità

14/11/2024: Non si veniva da molti anni e credo che non si tornerò per altrettanti. Servizio sbrigativo, ma cortese. Cibo da mensa aziendale. Le tagliatelle con i funghi, sui nostri appennini, non p ossono aversopra quattro prataioli in croce, panna e pomodoro. Pessime. Paste ripiene sufficienti. Grigliata mista sanza infamia e sanza lodo. I borlenghi si salvano. Il vino della casa è pessimo. Prezzi molto bassi, va detto, ma la qualità è bassa pure quella; può andare bene per un pasto di lavoro, ma per il resto lasciamo stare. Passando in cassa a pagare non si può non buttare l'occhio in cucina e non è un bel vedere.
