I celebrated my partner's birthday for lunch yesterday at "Ristorante Da Martino," and it was our first time there, but it certainly won't be our last. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would without hesitation! 🌿 The atmosphere and the welcome From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in 360-degree attention. They reserved a table for us in the garden, set up with rare care and taste: every detail was in the right place. The setting is refined, elegant, and impeccably clean, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 🍽️ The Food Moving on to the cuisine: simply sublime. Excellent dishes, top-quality ingredients, and exquisite preparations that delight the palate. You can sense the passion in every single course. ❤️ The "magic touch": Mrs. Patty The real added value, however, was Mrs. Patty. Calling her a hostess would be an understatement: she's a wonderful woman, gifted with uncommon empathy and kindness. She was my perfect "accomplice," helping me to perfectly execute all the surprises I had planned for my partner. Without her support and availability, it wouldn't have been the same. In short: If you're looking for a place where you can feel pampered, where you can eat divinely, and where the human touch still makes the difference, go to Martino's. 30/05/2026: This morning I picked up a cake I'd ordered over the phone, along with other pastries: the instructions were followed perfectly, and the cake was delicious. The girls at the counter were also very professional and kind. I especially recommend the nuns' breasts and the cream-filled lobsters, a delight.

30/03/2026: The intimate setting creates an incredible atmosphere. We chose the charcuterie and cheese platters and the lamb tartare (very delicate), accompanied by a red wine chosen by the owner. Dessert was a very delicate strawberry mascarpone. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the dishes. P.S.: Excellent wine selection, and advance reservations are essential.

02/06/2026: I went there today for lunch for the first time. The typical Emilian cuisine was spectacular. The appetizers were delicious, the first courses were generous, and the second course was gnocco fritto and tigelle with mixed cold cuts and cheese platters. Everything was delicious. We were happy, and when I return to Modena, I'll definitely be back. I forgot to mention the friendly and helpful staff. Congratulations, 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: In the heat, for Sunday lunch, we headed out to the cool air... towards Pavullo... to the Ca'Venturelli restaurant. We found a warm welcome... as if we were friends... extremely hospitable!! The atmosphere is classic, rustic, mountain-style... just the way we like it... and you can also eat outside, under the greenery! Traditional food... first courses, meat, gnocchi, and tigelle... all excellent and plentiful... at a more than fair price... a must try!!

06/11/2025: I went with my brothers to eat kebab at this great kebab shop, delicious, beautiful, full, cheap and sincere, I will be back very soon.

16/09/2025: The kebab is very good, a little small for the average, with very fresh and unique ingredients (I've never seen grilled vegetables on a kebab, and they really work well). The fries, even for takeout, are really good: thick-cut, crispy, and fragrant. The only downside is that the place can be a little dark, with a few too many flies during the summer months, when the doors are open.

25/04/2026: I was there today and I was really satisfied. First of all, the service: a very courteous and knowledgeable gentleman served us very well, also explaining the dishes to us, which is not always a given since I am also in the profession. 10 out of 10 slices of steak, perhaps the best I have eaten in my life. I always order snails, because almost no one makes them very tasty anymore. Pancetta tortelli, 10 out of 10 for the fabulous filling. My tagliolini with blackthorns were also worth it. I finished with a very fresh millefeuille and exceptional mascarpone. In my opinion, the bill was rather low, especially the 2 euro cover charge, which was really fair. The owner was always available. I don't go often because I live far away, but I recommend them with my eyes closed. Thanks, Federica, table for 3 people.

27/04/2026: Excellent pizza. Light and with a soft, crispy crust. The best dough I've ever eaten.

01/02/2026: We ordered two half-meter pizzas from this pizzeria, for a total of €77.50 plus delivery, not even a drink included. There were six of us. One half-meter pizza was diavola (a type of pizza) + sausage and broccoli rabe, the other was chips and sausage + aged Modena. Prices: €38 and €36. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible in every way. The pizzas arrived completely folded inside the box, squashed and deformed. The owner's justification? "They're too big for the box." But if you sell half-meter pizzas, you have to have suitable containers: it can't become a problem for the customer. The pizzas were clearly burned in several places (as you can see in the photos), with black, dry, and inedible parts. The dough was raw and rubbery in several places, while the edges were charred: completely incorrect cooking. Furthermore, they refused to cut them, saying that "the flavors would mix." An absurd reasoning, because customers should be able to comfortably eat what they ordered, especially in such large sizes. When we raised the issue, the owner justified his decision by saying that the price was good considering there were six of us and that the average price was €9 per person. But the point isn't how many people eat: it's the quality of what's delivered, which in this case was absolutely not up to the asking price. Paying almost €80 for two pizzas that arrived flattened, burnt, uncut, and poorly cooked is unacceptable. A disappointing experience, and the complaint handling was even worse. We won't buy from them again.

14/05/2026: Paolo and Klaudia are Super friendly. The location with a beautiful view. Local products like ofen bread fresh and sooo tasty. Salami really yammi! If you like to have a little rest on your way its a must!

The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste the care with which they're selected and combined. The staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and attentive to detail; they truly make you feel at home. The atmosphere is refined, modern, and welcoming, perfect for both an evening with friends or a quiet dinner for two. I highly recommend trying the specialty pizzas: a perfect blend of creativity and tradition. One of the best dining experiences in the area! Kudos to the entire Lievito 24 staff: you can tell they have true passion behind them!!!
