01/04/2024: Careful service, perfect dishes of high quality and taste, extreme variety, with a one-of-a-kind selection of cheeses, accompanied by extremely good local Crescentine and Borlenghi cured meats. A pearl in our Apennines a few km from Vasco's house, it makes you want to book immediately for another time. Highly recommended
06/03/2024: The food is satisfactory, at least for what I ordered, the service isn't the best, and the owner seems a little stoned, not that it bothers me.
The environment is there.

10/03/2024: I have been for lunch several times with my family. Let me start by saying that I am quite fussy when it comes to food. The more I go there, the more I am convinced that it is one of the best places I have eaten in my life. 5 or 6 first courses, 5 or 6 second courses, various side dishes and desserts. The food is all genuine and the quality of the dishes is really high. When you sit down to eat in this inn you have to forget about the rush, enjoy the company, the tranquility of the place, the good food perhaps accompanied by a glass of wine.

12/03/2024: 3/24 I stopped because I read home cooking and I actually found it very good. I ate the tagliatelle with meat sauce which, in addition to being plentiful, was also delicious. The top is a little green and a little white. After that exaggerated first course, I couldn't go beyond a mixed salad for the second course. While I was waiting for the dishes I saw cotechino and mashed potatoes coming out of the kitchen, one cut on a metal plate and frying on the table. In short, I have to return to better appreciate the good cuisine I tasted. The place is not always open so it is best to call so as not to make a wasted trip. They also have a fixed price menu for 15 euros. Advise
03/01/2024: I took tagliatelle with mushrooms, it was Christmas Day, tender and slippery tagliatelle seemed to be industrially produced, then stewed wild boar. Nothing special, in the end for 6 first courses, 3 second courses, mixed grill, 5 side dishes, three desserts, 3 coffees €250.00.
I have never eaten such sad noodles at restaurants

30/03/2024: I went last night with my family, delicious food, quick service, very honest price and always smiling and kind staff, super recommended!
11/02/2024: Had lunch in this place, after a little visit from Vasco! Even though I was the only customer, perhaps I waited a little too long, but I wasn't in a hurry. Crostini with mushrooms, cherry tomato and garlic and oil (7 total, 2 for each), passatelli with parmesan and sausage fondue, semifreddo with amaretto made by them, and coffee. For a total of 27 euros.
All acceptable, but overall not 5 stars. Worth trying again though.

15/02/2024: We wanted borlenghi so I contacted La Nuova Odissea directly. I had the pleasure of speaking to the owner, Mr. Paolo, who very kindly offered to let us taste their borlenghi (really excellent!) even though it was Thursday and they only made them during the weekend. Retro place where it is always pleasant to eat in company and have a chat with those who work there. We will definitely be back!

26/11/2023: Si mangia bene, molto abbondante, ma paste non tutte fatte in casa, gnocco fritto molto spesso. Abbiamo mangiato due primi e gnocco e tigelle con cacciatora di pollo per uno, bottiglia di pignoleria Righi, due dolci e due caffè per € 60. Conto un pò alto per quello che abbiamo preso. Negativo che non ci sia un menù coi prezzi e che i tavoli siano molto fitti, con relativo rumore. Servizio molto veloce e cortese. Gradita l'entrè offerta in attesa che arrivi l'ordine.
02/11/2023: Autentica Trattoria romagnola nascosta tra i castagni appenninici ai piedi di Zocca.
Ambiente e cucina tipici. Inizio con polenta fritta croccante da Dio! Tortellini in brodo “di giuggiole”. Gnocchi (olio fritto cercasi… nessuna traccia!) con affettati e tigelle con lardo aromatizzato che ha mangiato anche mia moglie che normalmente lo scarta scarta da prosciutto. Tagliatelle di ottima fattura con un sugo di funghi misti accettabile. Tutto buono: solo il pollo fritto lasciava un po’ a desiderare (forse anche a causa della sazietà).
Siamo andati di sabato (per fortuna avevamo prenotato) ed era pieno come un uovo: cacciatori, ciclisti, escursionisti e famigliole trigenerazionali. Una confusione del diavolo ma fa parte dell’ambiente!
Una full immersion di tradizione romagnola, Compreso l’oste e le brave cameriere.
Dimenticavo: lambrusco spillato… occhio alla patente!
Prezzo: decisamente accattivante.

02/10/2023: 5 stars on everything. I've never been there. I've never eaten or stayed there but only the fact that it is located in Zocca, birthplace of the great Vasco...it deserves 5 stars and praise...IT'S JUST US!
