07/01/2024: This magnificent ancient villa is the setting for a very pleasant gourmet experience. The environment is elegant and comfortable and the staff is courteous, efficient and professional. On the ground floor there are two quite intimate rooms, one of which has a fireplace, while upstairs there is a large frescoed room suitable for important events. In summer it is possible to dine outside in the villa's park, simple but well-kept. The cuisine is truly excellent, refined with selected, quality products; my favorite is the poached egg with parmesan cream and truffle which I obviously recommend to everyone. After ordering, a glass of prosecco and a welcome dish are served while you wait. Followed by the ordered dishes. On the menu you can choose between land and sea dishes. Furthermore, there are always a couple of classic dishes on the menu, while the others are changed frequently. The cellar is varied and selected. At the end of the service, it is possible to meet the chef Mery for a brief greeting. Highly appreciated and recommended experience, really worth it!

23/12/2023: Ci rechiamo in questa villa su consiglio di amici, per festeggiare il compleanno del mio compagno. Scegliamo piatti a base di pesce, ma c’era anche carne. Abbiamo preso un antipasto, un primo ed un secondo a testa, specialmente i primi abbondanti, quindi con due piatti a testa si poteva rimanere soddisfatti. Piatti molto curati, ottimi i gusti e gli abbinamenti. Prezzi buoni, non eccessivi. Vasta scelta di vini. Se proprio devo trovare una pecca, leggermente disattento il personale di sala perché non sempre presente in sala, ma si palesava quando portava i vari piatti (per esempio mancava una forchetta, siamo riuscita a chiederla dopo circa 10 minuti perché non avevamo nessuno a cui chiederla). 21/02/2024: A hidden gem in Vignola. Great natural wine selection. The service is 100%. A family run business that inspires us how the real gastronomy should be. Local and seasonal Ingredients. We have been 2 times in a week and will definitely be back when in Emilia Romana. Great surprise!

23/01/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante diverse volte, lo conosciamo da anni, il posto è bello e grande, il servizio organizzato, lo stile un pò chic ma comunque nel complesso armonico. L'ultima volta che sono stata sarà per me l'ultima in assoluto. Vado a concordare un menù per una festa di compleanno, antipasto, primi, gnocco e tigelle già di base 45 €, che comunque è un prezzo molto alto. Faccio presente che ad alcune persone potrebbe non piacere l'antipasto e mi viene assicurato che al momento dell'ordine verrà richiesta qualche eventuale variante. Arriviamo, il servizio frettoloso e per niente attento, chiedo se possono portare un antipasto diverso ad alcuni, senza nemmeno chiedere a loro portano dei piatti di crudo con del gnocco, RIDICOLO visto che dopo sarebbe stato portato comunque nel menù. Nessuna attenzione e cura, e soprattutto il tutto molto tirato via. Finito il pranzo al momento del conto mi viene chiesto di pagare 45 € anche per i due bimbi presenti di 8 e 9 anni, i miei nipoti, "perchè si sono fatti dare tutto" Totalmente ASSURDO! a parte che i camerieri nemmeno chiedevano ma davano e basta, e comunque allora anche mia sorella e suo marito non si sono fatti dare un primo ma mica quelli me li hanno scontati! 45 € per un bambino di 8 annI è una cifra spropositata (come se poi bevesse anche vino), in un qualsiasi altro posto serio i bimbi contano a metà se non meno, ci vuole veramente poco per essere un minimo più attenti al cliente. Quest'anno siamo andati in un noto posto del territorio concorrente e siamo stati trattati con tutte le dovute attenzioni. Me li hanno presi ma da me saranno gli ultimi, MAI PIU'!!!!!!!

10/03/2024: Delightful, rustic, intimate inn, not very large and quite secluded. When we go trekking in those areas we like to stop for lunch because the owners are very kind and hospitable, it's like being among friends. We usually take fried dumplings with cured meats, appetizers and meatballs, we avoid the first courses so as not to weigh us down too much for the walk back. Few parking spaces so I recommend leaving the car a little early and taking a short walk. Always book because there are few places and it is always full. I recommend it.
