15/03/2026: One of the best gelato shops in Maranello. The pistachio deserves a special mention: stratospheric is an understatement. Its natural color, intense, toasted flavor, velvety texture, and zero artificial flavors make it a gelato you'll never forget. The variety of flavors and the friendly staff are also excellent. Excellent quality and fair prices. Definitely worth a try.

21/03/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant because it was close to the hotel where we were staying. A welcoming and clean place. I had tortellini with parmesan cream, while my husband had tortellini in broth, followed by Parma ham. Everything was excellent. A little pricey, but worth it.

10/04/2026: A truly pleasant stay, one we'll definitely repeat! We stayed at the Hotel Ristorante La Gazzella and were delighted with every aspect. The property is well-maintained and welcoming, the dinner excellent, and the breakfast plentiful and delicious, thanks to the attentive service of Mrs. Lorella: kind, smiling, and always available, she makes guests feel at home. The location is strategic for those who want to explore not only Maranello and its Motor Valley, but also the surrounding areas: Modena, Sassuolo, Formigine, Spilamberto, Vignola... all easily accessible. We recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located base for discovering this beautiful corner of Emilia!

06/04/2026: Let me start by saying we tried the restaurant, not the hotel. Intimate atmosphere Clean and modern location, outdoor dining available Ample parking available Friendly service We had gnocco tigelle and cured meats as an appetizer. I'm not a fan of gnocco, but it was very good, and the cured meats were exceptional—probably the best thing we ate. For the second course, we had cappelletti in broth, cotoletta alla petroniana (Bologna-style cutlet), and another meat dish, so nothing special. To finish, two desserts. All accompanied by a bottle of good wine. We spent about €50 each, which is a bit high.

18/10/2025: We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday. It was magical, because we are both passionate about Ferrari, and we ate very well. The only thing about the second courses, in terms of our tastes, was that there was not much choice (because we don't eat pigeon or eel, etc.) but the dishes were superb, the service and courtesy were excellent. We will definitely be back ♥️

10/04/2026: Lovely stoned fired Italian Pizza shop. Proper hand made sourdough. Wow that’s not lie the pizzas I get from my home town Middlesbrough. Domino’s etc. No wonder Italian people like these. Thanks to Erika for keeping me right in what to eat. Not something I normally eat but done about 3-4 hours walking today so need the carbs. Even the delivery cars have electric ovens in the back rather than than the bags they use in uk. Quality.

From the moment we arrived, the owners and their family treated us with a level of kindness and generosity that is truly rare. We came to Maranello for a Ferrari inspired half marathon and expected a simple place to stay—but what we received was so much more. They went far above and beyond in every possible way. They helped arrange transportation for us multiple times without ever asking for anything in return, saving us from renting a car and making our entire trip smoother and more enjoyable. At one point, they even offered us the opportunity to stay closer to the Ferrari factory so we could fully experience everything happening in town. That level of thoughtfulness is something we will never forget. The restaurant itself is outstanding. The wild boar stew with tigelle and grilled vegetables was absolutely incredible—authentic, rich, and perfectly prepared. Every meal felt like a true taste of the region. The history of this place makes it even more special. Knowing that it was once a working mill from centuries ago adds a unique depth to the experience—you truly feel connected to the heritage of the region while enjoying incredible food and hospitality But what makes this place truly special is the people. 06/03/2026: I've been going to this pizzeria with a group for years. The pizza is good, the first courses are good too, but I've noticed that lately the pizzas are definitely smaller and the portions of the first courses are too.... Too bad.
